Teal eyes slowly cracked open, hazy and unfocused in their owner's disorientation. Small ray of sunshine peaked through the gap in the curtains, shining on the two figures lying on the Queen sized bed. Birds chirped away to bring in the new day, their songs pulling one of the sleeping figures on the bed from their slumber, begrudgingly.
Knives slowly woke up, the duvet covering her body falling to her laps as she slowly sat up. She rubbed her face, coherency settling in bit by bit. Her hair was tousled, spiky and no longer in its usual slicked back, pristine form. She turned her head and took in the figure sprawled on the other side of the bed without a care in the world.
Vash had both legs wide open - her vagina receiving lots of air and her cute, small breasts out in the open. The duvet was off her body and Knives happily took in the various love bites on her body. Her lips twitched in pride as she saw the teeth marks on Vash's pink nipples, which were hard due to the cold air. Her inner thighs were caked with juices from last night, her thick and surplus thighs also bearing marks from Knives.
All in all, Vash looked like a sinful goddess come down to earth with how beautiful she looked - her spiky yet silky waist long hair sprawled on the pillows and looking like a halo around her. Added bonus was the hilarious expression on her face, which told Knives that she was having a pleasant dream, and the tiny drool on the side of her lips, which she smacked together once in a while whilst mumbling incoherent words. No doubt she was dreaming about donuts again, Knives thought with a fond roll of her eyes.
Knives reached over, sheets rustling under her movements, and placed a kiss on Vash's forehead. She withheld her chuckle of amusement as Vash grumbled sleepily, turning over onto her side before her hand reached back to scratch her right asscheek, which had a huge bite mark on it - courtesy of Knives.
With a warm and content smile, Knives quietly stood up and made her way over to the bathroom. She paused when she saw herself in the full length mirror by the corner, taking in her form from afar.
Vash had decorated her body with marks of her own. The blonde had designed Knives' body like a canvas, leaving her marks of ownership behind as Knives pounded away into her the previous night. Knives body cupped her ample right breast, wincing a little at the flare of pain that hit her when she brushed against her sore and teeth marked nipple. Her hand trailed down her toned abs to her lower abdomen, her eyes taking in every mark in sight. She tilted her head and took in the love bites on her neck and shoulders, snorting as the image of Vash desperately trying to clamp down on her flesh as her G-spot was mercilessly stimulated till the point she cried.
With a pleased hum, Knives continued her journey and began her morning routine. The aches on her body reduced with the aid of a steaming, hot shower. She stepped out of the bathroom with a towel on her head, a little bit of water still rolling down her body. She cracked a smile when she saw the new position Vash had taken - a leg and arm thrown over the spot on the bed Knives had once occupied, no doubt searching for her body heat.
Still having the towel on her head, absolving the water on her hair, Knives took to picking up the sex toys lying around. She placed them in a basket to sanitise them later on. The woman put on a lace pantie and a thin singlet before making her way downstairs, sparing one last fond look at the sleeping Vash.
Knives made her way to the kitchen and began to prepare a light breakfast for her and her twin. Although she wasn't as good as her wife, her food was still edible. As her hands worked away, her body seemingly working on autopilot, Knives' mind couldn't help but wander off.
This wasn't Knives' first life. To her, this was her second chance at life, but unbeknownst to her, it was her ten thousandth. Knives have been reincarnated ten thousand times and out of those, she only had the memory of her first life. She had no memories of the others.
Like her first life, Knives was blessed and oppprtunied to be Vash's twin once again. Her devotion and love for her brother, now sister, never changed. In fact, they grew - if that was even possible.
Gunsmoke was not the planet Knives once knew before she died. After five thousand plus years, the difference was staggering. No longer was the planet a sandy wasteland. The new technology had terraformed the planet into a green oasis and now it was known as Terra Secundus - Earth 2.0. Knives just hoped it wouldn't end up like its predecessor; but even if it did, she had contingency plans that would see the survival of her and Vash along with their generation - if they were to have children together.
Knives and Vash were children of a highly powerful clan and this placed impossible expectations onto their shoulders from the moment they were born. Knives, being the first born, was named heir to the family fortune, and when their parents died in an 'accident', she took over as the head of the clan at the age of fifteen.
Since they were young, Knives had always looked out for Vash - just like she always had in her previous life. That desire to see Vash locked up far away in a tower intensified when she realised that Vash never got her own memories of their past life - and will most likely never will from what she was seeing.
Knives was ready to kill to protect her Vash from anything and anybody she deemed a threat. She wasn't going to let go of Vash again - she was not going to be left behind again. Which was why she compromised on some things her sister wanted. Sure she might hate the fact that Vash was a loving and kind hearted woman, but she was always ready to please Vash and help those she wanted to help - until they prove to her that they were just exploiting Vash's kindness. If that were ever to be the case, Knives didn't hesitate to make them a past sentence - and thankfully Vash was none the wiser.
Knives regained her memories when she and Vash shared their first kiss when they were five years old. The two of them had been curious and wanted to see what kissing was like. The moment their lips met, Knives' past memories came flooding in. She had scared Vash a little when she had gasped in pain, holding her head tight, but quickly covered it up so as not to make her twin worry.
For a month, Knives tried to deny the additional memories that played in her head, trying to convince herself that they were just hallucinations and that she was working herself too hard with her studies - but that all washed away when she first activated her powers. For some reasons, Knives still regained her Independent abilities - manifesting her blade tentacles and downright massacring her kidnapping out of fear. She had looked at her glowing skin, taking in the patterns, and resigned to her fate.
Unfortunately for Knives, Vash never got her memories. She concluded that it wasn't meant to be, and that maybe Fate was smiling down on her to correct her past mistakes. Although she felt lonely and burdened with those memories, she was glad that Vash didn't resent him anymore.
Knives blinked owlishly back to the present when she felt familiar arms wrapping around her. Two soft moulds pressed against her mid back and she felt wetness seep into her singlet when another weight rested on her upper back.
"You're awake." Knives paused in her cook and placed a hand on Vash's, her lips spreading into a smile. "Good morning, my Eve. How was your night?"
"Wonderful. Nee-chan tired me out and drained me of all my energy last night~" Vash tightened her hold on Knives, nuzzling her face into her sister's taut back. "Nai-nee left me all alone in bed. The bed became cold without you." Knives could hear, and feel, the pout in her Vash's voice.
"Apologies." Knives chuckled good-naturedly, patting Vash's forearm. "I wanted to prepare something for you and treat you to breakfast in bed - but looks like that won't be necessary anymore."
"Nope! I'm definitely eating Nee-chan's food in bed!"
"Hmph. I've definitely spoiled you rotten."
Vash's grin could be felt and Knives heaved a fond sigh. The older woman switched off the stove before plating the omelette, all the while having Vash clinging to her. The two took to eating in the dining room, Knives getting a cute pout of death from her sibling for denying her wishes to eat in their bedroom.
Dressed in her sister's shirt that was too big on her, Vash happily dug into the food Knives prepared for her with gusto. Her hair was damp and the collar of Knives' shirt tilted to the corner, revealing her marked up shoulder.
Even in this life, Knives was taller and bigger than Vash - dwarfing her twin. The height difference between them sometimes had Knives' brain short-circuiting and she couldn't help but ravish Vash out of the blue whenever she could and felt like - not like Vash was complaining.
Knives, with her chin propped up on her fist - her elbow resting on the table - watched as Vash demolished her subpar food. She couldn't help the love sick look on her face as she watched the love of her life enjoy herself. She was happy to have Vash back. Although the pain of abandonment and her death still haunted her, it never made her stop loving Vash. She was more afraid of Vash leaving once again and she vowed that she'd kill herself with her own hands if Vash were to leave her behind once again. She couldn't go through that. She would rather kill Vash and herself than lose Vash to the clutches of humans once again.
She couldn't handle that again. She couldn't handle Vash being lost to her once again. She simply refused to go through all that again. Which was why she was somewhat thankful that Vash didn't have her memories. She wasn't going to lose the love of her life anytime soon.
Unbeknownst to both sisters, this wasn't Vash's second life. It was, in fact, her eight thousandth.
Vash's reincarnation cycle had been nothing but hell. Each life was painful and it all boiled down to the fact that Knives never regained her memories all those time. Her first life, she lived for two hundred more years, watching Knives live, die and be reborn from afar. Each time he had gone close to Knives, Fate decided to fuck him over and snuff out Knives like a candle flame. It was torture for Vash, and so, he killed himself.
For the next couple of lives, Vash would stay away from Knives, watching from afar as her twin grew up and happily lived his life - memory blank of what he once was and who Vash was. Sometimes, Vash couldn't stand it and would try to get close to her teen - it never worked out. Either her or Knives would die one way or another.
It wasn't to say that it was all pain for Vash. Most of those lives were filled with happiness, but she had still felt hollow. She'd never stop blaming herself for Knives' demise.
The trauma and pain got too much for Vash to bear that in her last life - as she laid dying beside that version's Knives' grave, having slit her wrists and bleeding out under the cherry blossom tree - she had desperately wished not to remember Knives and the past. She had begged the gods, anybody, to take her pain away and make everything anew. Her wish was granted. All her memories about her past lives and Knives were no more - wiped clean and gone forever.
Vash blinked and she paused in taking a sip of her juice, giving her silent sister a confused look. "What?" She asked, dropping her cup down. "Why are you staring at me so intently?"
"... you're beautiful."
"!!!" Vash blinked once again, startled by Knives' sudden admission.
"So, so fucking beautiful. You're so perfect that I can't take my eyes off you."
Vash's cheeks went red in a matter of seconds, her ears brightening up as well. "Why...! So sudden!" Vash averted her eyes away from Knives', feeling herself becoming breathless with how smouldering those teal eyes of Knives had become.
Knives placed her hand on Vash's, her large hand engulfing Vash's smaller one. She leaned over and placed a chaste kiss on Vash's lips, getting a stuttered response. With how she behaved, one would think that Vash was a shy virgin. Knives had made sure to defile her thoroughly when they had hit fourteen.
"I'm so happy you're with me, Vash. My Eden wouldn't be complete without you." Knives said this with a soft look on her face, her eyes never denying the truth of her words. "Gods above know what I'd have been without you."
Vash gave her a soft smile of her own, interlocking their fingers together and giving a tight squeeze. "I'm glad you're in my life as well, Nai. My boring life won't be the same without you."
"Says the superstar." Knives snorted, giving her little sister an amused look - which Vash returned with a grin.
"Boring or not, I'm just happy the two of us are finally on a vacation. Far away from the stupid press and the stuffy board members." Vash heaved a sigh. "I sure hope Legato isn't dying with paperwork though."
"Meh." Knives shrugged. "He'll be fine."
Far away, a blue haired man could be found commanding a group of workers who looked dead on their feet.
"Ne, why don't we explore the island?" Vash suggested, excited and her beautiful blue eyes lighting up like starlight in the dark. "We haven't seen the other parts of it yet."
Knives nodded, smiling when Vash started to caress her wedding ring. "Whatever you want, my Starlight."
