IMPERIAL CITY ARENA IN CHAOS! ALDMERI DOMINION AGENT FOUND WITHIN THE CITY WALLS!
On the 21st of Sun’s Dusk, 4E 176, in what can only be described as a brutal and unprovoked attack on the civilized people of Cyrodiil and the Imperial City, disgraced scholar Kesh gra-Bruma of the College of Whispers was apprehended by members of the valiant Penitus Oculatus during a protracted battle in the Imperial City Arena District, after several dangerous monsters were released into the city streets!
‘The orc-‘ Lieutenant Salvarus, of the Penitus Oculatus, has gone on record as saying when questioned about the events by our daring reporters ‘-has been under suspicion of Dominion loyalties for some time. Her former body of work was nothing but a weak attempt to shake the morals, ideals, and ethics of our Empire. It is only a shame we could not find proof of her treason before it was put into action. Before lives needed to be lost.’
Indeed, Kesh gra-Bruma was most known (perhaps infamous!) for her writing of ‘On the Name of Orcs’, ‘The ‘’White’’ arts on Trial’ and ‘Talos, Tyrant’ – texts now seized by members of the Watch for the ongoing investigation and potentially dangerous ideas they may contain. Her work has earned her nothing but the revilement of all upstanding citizens of the Imperial City and further brought into question the morality of the College of Whispers she was, until recently, a member of. It is this writer’s humble opinion (and that of our generous benefactors in the Synod!) that we should have seen her treasonous ways sooner! That one who openly practiced the barbaric arts of necromancy be legally protected is absurd!
Citizens are advised to avoid the Arena District until later notice, as much of it still has a part to play in the ongoing investigation, and remain indoors after dark. Several dangerous monsters including a minotaur, four goblins and a wild boar are still unaccounted for and believed to have escaped into the wider city. Any copies found or owned of the aforementioned texts are to be handed in to your nearest member of the Imperial Watch.
