Vala: I miss u
Daniel: I’ve been gone for an hour…haven’t even gotten on the plane yet
Vala: Y couldn’t I come with u?
Daniel: it’s just a few days and you would be bored and driving me insane
Vala: couldn’t Jack ask Samantha or Teal’c instead?
Daniel: Sam is off on her ship and Teal’c is off world. We’re boarding now. TTYL
Tuesday 9pm (Vala) 11pm (Daniel)
Vala: I’m bored
Daniel: I’m tired. About to go to sleep. It’s 11pm here.
Vala: u r no fun
Daniel: go bother Mitchell
Vala: he’s even less fun than u. He didn’t even blush when I modeled my new bikinis for him
Daniel: you did what??? Why would you do that?
Vala: well I would’ve modeled them 4 u, but u r not here. I love modeling my clothes 4 u because the more u blush, the more I know it’s one that u like
Daniel: I do NOT blush!
Vala: what r u wearing?
Daniel: you’ve been watching too many movies, and I’m not answering that.
Vala: I bet u only have on boxers.

Daniel: has Mitchell gone insane yet?
Vala: huh?
Daniel: have you driven him insane yet?
Vala: do u mean since we last spoke? I haven’t seen him since last night.
Daniel: don’t model any more clothing for him
Vala: y not? R u jealous?
Vala: Daniel?
Wednesday 4pm (Vala) 6pm (Daniel)
Vala: how r the meetings going?
Daniel: over for today. I think the chairman of the appropriations board was happy not to see you again
Vala: oh, u mean the man with the ‘shortcomings?’
Daniel: that’s the one
Vala: I feel bad for his wife
Daniel: you’re something else
Vala: u wouldn’t want me any other way
Daniel: you’re right
Vala: really?
Daniel: don’t push it

Vala: r u snuggled up in bed yet?
Daniel: just hopped out of the shower
Vala: don’t tease me darling. Wish I was there to see ur wet, naked body
Daniel: Vala!
Vala: what? It’s not like it’s a secret that I think u r sexy
Vala: do u wanna know what I’m wearing? ;)
Daniel: clothes I hope
Vala: remember that tank and panties set that I wore when I snuck into ur quarters and u found me in ur bed?
Daniel: how could I forget?
Vala: can I tell u a secret?
Daniel: I guess
Vala: I wasn’t messing with u
Daniel: what do you mean?
Vala: I told u about all of those bad things that happened to me and u thought I was messing with u. I wasn’t.
Daniel: it was all the truth?
Vala: yes
Daniel: why didn’t you tell me?
Vala: I was feeling really vulnerable and that’s hard 4 me so I just played it off
Daniel: I’m so sorry.
Vala: I forgive u. It was a long time ago. Night night Daniel.
Daniel: goodnight Vala. Sleep well

Vala: what r u doing?
Vala: Daniel?
Daniel: in a meeting. Talk later
Thursday 7:30pm (Vala) 9:30pm (Daniel)
Daniel: have I evr told you how prettty you are?
Vala: no…r u feeling ok darling?
Daniel: I feel great. Really great. I’m at the bar wit Jack
Vala: r u drunk?
Daniel: I had a few drnks. Why?
Vala: u never call me pretty and u usually spell everything in ur texts correctly
Daniel: well you are pretty. Sexxy too.
Vala: maybe u should slow down on the alcoholic beverages before u say something you’ll regret tomorrow.
Daniel: why would I regret it? It’s true
Vala: I would much rather u tell me this when u r sober
Daniel: wanna kno something funny?
Vala: what’s that?
Daniel: when we stopped textng last night, I couldnt stop thinking about you.
Vala: oh?
Daniel: yeah I really wished you were there in my hotel bed with me ;)
Vala: as much as I like where this is going, I think maybe u should stop texting me until you’ve sobered up. You’ll thank me later.
Friday 9:00am (Vala) 11:00am (Daniel)
Daniel: ugh…I’m sorry about last night
Vala: it’s ok. I know u didn’t mean the things u said.
Daniel: is that what you think? We need to talk about this, but not via text message. I’ll be back this evening and we can talk then.
Vala: u r making me nervous
Daniel: don’t be nervous. We will talk later. :)
Friday 7pm
Vala is lounging in her room when she hears a knock at the door. She races over to open it and is greeted by a smiling Daniel. Her Daniel…smiling?
“You’re home.”
Daniel walks into her room and envelopes her into a hug. “I missed you.”
She wraps her arms around him, enjoying his warmth and just being in his arms. “I missed you too. Are we going to talk now?”
He leans back, but doesn’t let Vala go. “I’m sorry that it took me drunk texting you for me to come clean about this, but I meant what I said last night. Jack and I had a long talk about it before I got drunk. He told me that I’m an idiot and that you care about me and I better get my head outta my ass and tell you how I feel.”
Vala sucks in a breath, her heart beating madly in her chest. “And how do you feel?”
“I feel like when I’m with you that everything is right in the world; like it all could be crumbling down around me and it wouldn’t matter as long as I had you in my arms. I feel like you annoy me more than anyone else, but I’d miss it if you ever stopped. I feel like you hold a piece of my heart, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I want you to keep it. I feel like if I don’t kiss you right now, I’ll go insane.”
His lips are on hers in an instant and as much as she wants to reciprocate his feelings verbally, she decides that actions speak louder than words anyway and deepens their kiss. He walks them backwards towards her bed and they show each other the true extent of their feelings in the most intimate way possible.
