Hauntin' Manic | GRAVITY FALLS AND DANNY PHANTOM CROSSOVER

Summary:

BANG! A flying plate would smash into the wall.

"HEY! That plate was expensive, Priscilla!" Preston would yell at his wife.

"I don't care. Why aren't there as many guests as last year? Answer me. Now." His wife would yell with an intimating voice.

Preston would gulp at his wife's words as he tried to calm her down. "Priscilla, don't you remember last year? That ghost that haunted us and let all the townsfolk into here?" He said, reminding her of the incident that went down last year.

Priscilla's face would turn into an disgusted look at the reminder of last year. She hated what happened, she hated how her own daughter was the one that actually let this happen. That year was horrible, and she didn't dare to talk about it in front of anyone. "How dare you remind me of that! You do not speak of that in front of me, and you shall say silent right now!" She furiously yelled.

"But, it is the reason they won't come back." Preston would counter Priscilla's statement, trying to make her understand the lack of guests for this party.

Priscilla's eyes would slim, looking at her husband furiously, but she couldn't argue. He was right.

"Then, were going to find some replacements."

Chapter 1: PROLOGUE

Chapter Text

Danny would run back home, knowing that his curfew already passed. "Stupid ghosts, always making me come back home late and worry my parents." Danny thought, as he finally reached to the door of his house. He panted, trying to catch his breath before knocking on the door to alert his parents that he was back home. Before he knocked on the door, he realized the door was already open for him. Of course, his parents saw him through the window. As he would swing the front door to his house open, he was met with the looks of his angry parents he knew that would be there.

"Hi!" Danny would squeak, before his parents would scold him again for coming back home when it was past his curfew.

"Danny, this has been your... I don't know, fifth time you have been coming home late! It was one thing that your grades were slipping, but now this?" Maddie would scold her son, worried and angry about her sons sudden slacking.

"And you don't do your chores, son!" Jack would add to his wife's speech. "And then I end up having to do it..." He would mumble, almost not being able to hear his voice.

Danny looked down in shame. It wasn't even his fault that he was constantly late back home, he was busy with a lot things. Things his own parents wouldn't even understand. Sometimes, he just wished he could just tell them so he wouldn't have to keep trying to explain why he kept coming home so late, but then his parents were ghost hunters that was fixated with ripping him molecule by molecule.

"Sorry." Danny would mumble to his worried and angry parents.

"Danny..." Maddie said with a soft, worried tone in her voice. "We don't mean to get mad at you, but your actions have been making us worry about you lately." She said, clearly showing her worry now about his sudden tardy-ness. She would put her hand on Danny's shoulder.

"If something is bothering you, or maybe something is wrong... You can tell us. That's why we're here, isn't it?" She looked at him with soft eyes, while a small smile would appear on her face.

"I know, mom." Danny said, trying to already get out of this situation. "But I'm fine." He would push his shoulder back, causing his mom's hand to disconnect from his shoulder.

A worried look quickly over took the soft look she had earlier. She knew that something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She wished that her son would trust her, however, it didn't look like she would have that trust anytime soon. As she watched her son walk up the stairs, she knew that she would have to do something to help her son.

"Jack, I think it's time we take a little break." Maddie would look over to her husband that was mainly focused on a ghost invention that they recently made.

"A break from what?" The focus on the invention would turn over to his wife.

"A break from ghost hunting, honey." She would have a sad look on her face, but she knew that this family needed to stop with ghosts. Even if it was only for a small bit of time.
