In the morning Izuku got out of bed and quickly got dressed and looked at his phone to see if Shigaraki texted him, he had.
S: Call me once u wake up.
Izuku called Shigaraki while he picked up his backpack, Shigaraki answered the call after the second ring.
“Good morning, Shig.” Izuku said.
“Good morning little hero.” Shigaraki replied.
“I’m going to guess you want to say hello to Eri.” Izuku said.
“Yes.” Shigaraki replied.
Izuku walked out of his room and walked over to Eri’s room and knocked on the door.
“Eri, you awake?” Izuku asked.
When he didn’t hear her answer he frowned.
“Eri, I’m coming in okay.” Izuku said.
Izuku turned the doorknob and sighed in relief when it wasn’t locked, he walked into the room and saw that Eri was asleep.
“Is she alright?” Shigaraki asked.
“Yeah, just asleep.” Izuku answered.
Izuku turned on the light and chuckled as Eri curled up into a ball and tried to hide her face in the blanket.
“Eri, it’s time to wake up.” Izuku said, softly while gently shaking her shoulder.
“Don’t wanna.” Eri mumbled.
“Come on sweetheart, we’ve got to eat breakfast and this will be your first day of school.” Izuku said.
Eri slowly sat up and Izuku smiled at the tired girl and held out the phone to her.
“Shig wants to talk to you, talk to him while I get clothes for you.” Izuku said.
“Okay.” Eri replied.
Eri grabbed the phone, Izuku got off the bed and walked over to the dresser in the room. While Eri talked with Shigaraki, Izuku picked out some clothes by the time he was done he saw that Eri was holding out the phone to him so he grabbed the phone.
“I’ll talk to later little hero.” Shigaraki said.
“Alright, I love you Shig.” Izuku replied.
“I love you too little hero.” Shigaraki said.
Izuku ended the call then looked at Eri.
“Do you want to dress yourself or do you need help?” Izuku asked.
“I can dress myself.” Eri answered, shyly.
Izuku smiled and left the bedroom but he waited out in the hallway until Eri opened the bedroom door and walked out into the hallway with her backpack.
“Ready?” Izuku asked.
Eri nodded her head and the two headed downstairs and into the kitchen where they saw Bakugo cooking breakfast while Kaminari, Kirishima, and Mina worked on last minute homework.
“Good morning Izuku, Eri.” The three said when they saw them.
“Eri is the only reason you’re all getting a late breakfast.” Bakugo said.
“Thanks kacchan.” Izuku said.
Bakugo nodded his head and while he finished cooking, Izuku helped Eri onto one of the chairs at the counter. Once breakfast was ready Bakugo gave Eri her food first before making the others make their own plate.
When the group finished eating their breakfast Kirishima quickly washed the dishes then they left the dorms. While Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Mina headed towards class 1-a, Izuku took Eri to principal Nedzu’s office, when they were in front of the door Izuku knocked.
“Come in.”
Izuku and Eri walked into the office and Nedzu smiled at the two.
“Good morning Midoriya, Eri.” Nedzu said.
“Good morning.” Izuku replied, while Eri waved at him.
“Alright, I’ve got to go Eri…..I’ll see you at lunch.” Izuku said, then he looked at Nedzu who nodded his head.
“I’ll bring her to the cafeteria.” Nedzu said.
“Thank you.” Izuku replied.
“Don’t leave.” Eri begged.
“I’ve got to sweetheart, I promise you’ll be safe here and you’ll see me in a few hours.” Izuku said.
“Okay.” Eri replied, reluctantly .
Izuku hugged the upset girl after a second Eri hugged him back.
“Will you be okay Eri?” Izuku asked, while ending the hug and standing back up.
“Yeah.” Eri answered.
“Okay, see you later sweetheart.” Izuku said, then he looked at Nedzu.
“Thank you for this.” Izuku said.
“It’s no problem Midoriya, now go to homeroom you’re already late.” Nedzu replied.
Izuku nodded his head then he ruffled Eri’s hair affectionately and headed for class 1-a. When he got there Aizawa was already teaching, Izuku sighed and entered the classroom making everyone look at him.
“Nice to see you, Midoriya.” Aizawa said.
Izuku blushed as he walked over to his desk and sat down.
“Sorry, Eri didn’t want me to leave her.” Izuku replied.
“I’ll let it go this once Midoriya.” Aizawa said.
Izuku nodded his head and Aizawa went back to teaching, though during class Izuku paid half attention to what Aizawa was saying since he was also busy worrying over Eri. When Aizawa called on him to answer what should have been an easy question Izuku still answered it wrong, surprising everyone but luckily it seemed like Aizawa understood that he was a little more worried about his unofficial adopted daughter than his grades since he didn’t call him out on it.
It was like that all the way up until it was time for lunch and he waited in front of the cafeteria doors to see when Nedzu and Eri arrived. When he did see them he bent down as Eri ran up to him and hugged him, Izuku kept his hold on Eri as he stood back up so he was holding her.
“How was she?” Izuku asked.
“Great, she was a little distracted but she was missing you and her other father.” Nedzu answered.
“Well I’m here now, and we’ll video call him before you go to bed tonight.” Izuku said, looking at Eri.
Eri grinned and nodded her head excitedly.
“Bring her back to my office after lunch is over.” Nedzu said.
Izuku nodded his head and Nedzu left them, once he was out of sight Izuku carried Eri into the cafeteria and over to where lunch was being served.
“Hold onto my pants leg and don’t let go, I don’t want you getting lost.” Izuku said, putting Eri down.
“Okay.” Eri replied.
Eri grabbed his pants while he got them lunch, afterward he led them to where Bakugo, Mina, Kaminari, and Kirishima were sitting and Mina was beckoning them over.
“So Eri how was your first day of being taught by U.A’s principal?” Kirishima asked.
“It was good, he was really patient with me.” Eri answered.
“Good.” Kaminari said.
Eri grinned and began to eat her lunch, though half-way through lunch she looked away from her plate and frowned.
“What’s wrong, Eri?” Izuku asked.
“Why are they glaring at me?” Eri asked.
The others looked in the direction Eri was looking and saw the rest of class 1-a glaring at the girl.
“It’s not you, they just don’t like Shig.” Izuku answered.
“Why, he’s nice?” Eri asked.
“Only to the people he likes.” Mina answered.
“Gotta remember who he is.” Kirishima said.
“Though that could be a good thing, he’ll have no problem getting rid of the people who would even think about hurting you and deku.” Bakugo said.
Izuku smiled at the group then he gave Eri a hug.
“Ignore the group over there, they won’t do anything to you, if they do they’ll regret it.” Izuku said.
Eri nodded her head and the group finished eating their lunch, and like in the morning while Bakugo, Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima headed to class Izuku led Eri to Nedzu’s office. After Izuku hugged Eri, he went to class and like the first half of the day he was a little distracted but luckily none of his teachers called him out on it, once school was out for the day Nedzu gave Eri back to him and he carried him back to the dorms.
“How about we do our homework before dinner and after dinner we’ll call Shig?” Izuku asked, as he and Eri sat down on the couch.
“Yeah.” Eri agreed.
Izuku smiled and helped Eri with her homework when she needed it while he did his own though he also got help from Bakugo occasionally. When it was time for dinner, instead of Bakugo cooking Mina decided to cook, while she cooked dinner Izuku, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Kirshima played games with Eri until dinner was done.
Like during lunch the rest of class 1-a glared at the girl at least until Bakugo growled at them making them look the other way. When Izuku and Eri finished eating, Izuku took Eri up to her room and let her get ready for bed before helping her nto bed.
“Want to talk to Shig?” Izuku asked.
Eri nodded her head, Izuku grabbed his phone and video called Shigaraki, he answered on the fifth ring.
“Everything alright little hero?” Shigaraki asked.
“Yes, Eri missed you and wanted to tell you about her day and say goodnight.” Izuku answered.
“Alright, how was your day princess?” Shigaraki asked.
“It was good, I learned a lot from principal Nedzu…..though I don’t like math.” Eri answered, pouting.
Izuku and Shigaraki chuckled at that.
“Not many people do princess, what else happened princess?” Shigaraki asked.
“I met some of the other teachers, they were nice but it seemed like they didn’t know what to make of me.” Eri answered.
“It’s just because you’re a six year old in a high school, give it two weeks they’ll get used to you.” Shigaraki said.
“Okay.” Eri replied.
“Well princess, you need your sleep goodnight.” Shigaraki said.
“Goodnight.” Eri replied.
“Goodnight sweetheart, the door will be unlocked if you need me.” Izuku said.
“Okay, goodnight.” Eri replied.
Izuku kissed the top of Eri’s head then he left Eri’s room and went to his own.
“Too bad, it’s been awhile since we had phone sex via video call.” Shigaraki said.
“Tomorrow.” Izuku said.
“Look forward to it.” Shigaraki replied.
“Now, how was your day, little hero?” Shigaraki asked.
“It was good though I was a little distracted worrying over Eri.” Izuku answered.
“Did anything go wrong today?” Shigaraki asked.
“Some of class 1-a was glaring at Eri but I’ll handle it.” Izuku answered.
“Do I need to go over there and threaten them?” Shigaraki asked.
“If they don’t listen to everyone else I’ll ask Easerhead if you can come over and threaten them.” Izuku answered.
“Alright, I’m not going to let some low-level NPCs hurt either of you little hero.” Shigaraki said.
“I know…..now did our mini-boss Overhaul come to you yet?” Izuku asked.
“No, I’ll let you know when or if he does……if he does come here hopefully it won’t be when you and Eri are here.” Shigaraki answered.
“Be careful around him if he does show up.” Izuku said.
“I will, by the way, should we tell your mother about Eri?” Shigaraki asked.
“Do you think it would be a good idea to tell her so soon after telling her about us?” Izuku asked.
“I don’t know but maybe it would be easier for her to accept if we tell her early.” Shigaraki answered.
“We can tell her this weekend, we can have lunch with her while we shop with Eri.” Izuku said.
“Alright, I love you little hero.” Shigaraki said.
“I love you too Shig.” Izuku replied.
“Goodnight.” Shigaraki said.
“Goodnight.” Izuku replied.
Izuku ended the call and put his phone on its charger then he got ready for bed, once he was in bed it didn’t take him long to fall asleep.
