Yu Hamin didn't understand why his favorite hyung can be close friend with Han Noah. Their personality is so opposite, Han Noah is a carefree person while his hyung, Yejun, is someone diligent. Maybe opposite is attracted, like what he heard somewhere, but Yejun and Noah relationship is really strange. They argue alot, Noah always picked something to make Yejun questioning himself. Well for Hamin, Noah speciality probably gaslighting people, because everyone get convinced for whatever he said, including him. Yet Yejun never get upset about that, even when Hamin complained, yejun always said "He said that because he care about you, he isn't really wrong". How can gaslighting people can't be called wrong, only Noah can make that happened. Because yeah even Hamin himself think, it's not 100% wrong. Still Hamin will never admit it and the way Noah talking is annoying anyway. He dislike it. Yet Yejun never get upset or complaining about it.
Other time that Hamin didn't understand is because Yejun always know what Noah want or need without even talking. Just like today, they are practicing for the new dance choreography, Hamin work with Bamby to teach the other the steps. His student is Yejun and Noah, while Bamby teach Eunho. Noah already in the practice room, when he and Yejun come. Yejun stare at Noah for a bit then walking fast to him, Hamin lift one of his eyebrows but continued walking behind his hyung. His step stopped when Yejun rummaging his pocket and then take a lip balm that he give it to Noah. Hamin is so confused with what happened in front of him, he is more confused when Noah accepted the lip balm while complaining.
"It's so annoying must keep applying everytime!"
"It can't be help, your lips keep drying."
Hamin blinking, didn't understand what happening in front of him. Why Yejun-hyung know that Noah-hyung need lip balm? His lips look fine in his eyes, it's not dry.
"Hamin-ah greet your hyung."
"Ah, hello Noah-hyung."
"Why you look absent-minded?"
"I'm not!"
Yejun laughed and pat his shoulder to calm him down.
"Come on, let's just strated practice."
Hamin sighed and follow Yejun, let Noah snickering in the back. This is why Noah is his less favorite, he always teased him. After gaslight, his hobby probably teasing him.
The practice run smoothly, Noah, even he is so carefree, Hamin admit is easy to learn. The guy is really hard working and serious when he do something like this, so different when he is being idle. Maybe that's why Yejun like to be friend with him, Hamin can understand that. They are done with practicing. Its alredy quite late, Hamin started preparing to go home when Yejun called him.
"What it is, Hyung?"
"You can go back by yourself? I need to do something so i can't go home now."
"Yeah, you do what you must doing. I'll be fine, i'm not a kid, hyung."
"Hahaha... i know that. Still, let your hyung worried about you, alright. Be careful."
Hamin nodded and Yejun leave him alone. He is going with Noah, maybe the manager called them. Hamin come to Eunho and Bamby who want to go home too, they just leave the building when Hamin remember he leave his phone in the dance practice room. So he want to get back and said to the others to leave first, he feels stupid forgetting his phone like that. Hope there's no one found it yet, it'll be hassle if that happened.
Hamin found his phone and just want to leave when he heard there's people speaking not far from where he is. It's look like Noah's voice so he followed to the source, there's room beside the dance practice room, the light is on. Hamin peak at the door window and get taken back, there in the corner he found Yejun lean on Noah shoulder. His face buried in Noah's neck while his hand hugging the waist. Noah just let him and do nothing, the guy grumbling alot though.
"Seriously, he will not thinking like that."
"Still, i feel bad. Our youngest teach us so hard but only me who still hard to following him. I will be frustrated if i were him too."
"Hamin is strict but he like to teach you, and yes the guy is impatience but he will be patience with you."
"Why you thinking like that?"
"Because you're his favorite, there's no way he can be frustrated. He is your fanboy."
"Hahaha... he like you too, you know."
"I don't think so. I'm his less favorite."
"Doesn't mean he dislike you."
"Well, i'm too fun to be dislike."
"True. Our Noah-ya is so likeable, because he always work hard everyday."
"Yeah keep going."
"And i'm glad Noah-ya come join me."
"You must. Who else would take care of you in time like this? If they're know how clingy and spoiled you can be when you frustrated, your image as the reliable leader will be poff, gone."
"I think my image already ruin as reliable leader, but i will only show this side to you though."
"Stop saying nonsense or i will not take care of you anymore!"
Noah slapped yejun's arm, make yejun laugh out loud. Hamin can see Noah ears turn pink, it's rare seeing Noah flustered. But here Yejun can make him showing that easily, just like Noah who can see this side of Yejun that Hamin never seen.
Hamin walked silently to leave them, he just saw something he shouldn't. Now he know why they're so close to the point they can understand each other without speaking, why Yejun never get upset or complaining with Noah's antique, they're in that kind of relationship. Wow he should keep it as a secret. That Night Hamin can't see Noah and Yejun the same again, still he act as if he didn't know. Even though he is a bit jealous that Noah is Yejun's partner, he end up liking Noah for a little more. He just can't forget how Noah is actually can be cute and so caring. Anyway Yejun look so comfortable around Noah and Hamin think no matter what he can't change that fact. He will just need accepted it and keeping it a secret from anyone else.
