Work Text:
AHE has repeatedly wondered about his father's relationship with Prussia. He knew his father hated Prussia, he also knew that the two were enemies.
But there is something between the two. Something was only very vague, it seemed that it only flashed through AHE's mind for a split second. It raised in him doubts about the relationship between the two, whether it was true that the two of them hated each other so bitterly?
Listening to his father talk about Prussia with cursing was too much cynicism, gradually AHE also ignored his intuition. He thinks maybe he's just thinking too much. He assumed so.
AHE thought so.
“Father, do you really hate Prussia?”
His father's already unhappy mood had worsened to the point of being visible to the naked eye.
"Do I look like I like him?" AE put down his cutlery and fork, stood up from his seat. Looks like he has pissed him off.
“I was just curious.” AHE said quietly.
"Right. I hate him. That bastard…” Saying that, AE seemed to recall something, with an angry expression on his face and left the dining room, leaving AHE alone. AHE continues his meal, reflecting on the words he had just heard from his father.
Lie.
Doubts have long since been answered. AHE whirled around in his mind, trying to recall the scene last night, when he passed his father's room.
The dark corridors only enjoyed a little light thanks to the flickering candle burning in his hand. The large wooden door was closed but could not prevent the not-so-pure sounds from escaping. Only very small sounds, but the stillness of the night magnified it and crammed it into the sides of his ears. AHE initially thought it was a woman's voice, so he didn't pay much attention. Sex was a way to relieve, it wouldn't be strange for his father to go to bed with a girl.
He was about to leave, but a cry came out holding him back. AHE thought he heard it wrong. The soft begging and the familiar name being called made his curiosity aroused. It was not a woman's voice. It was his father's voice.
Swallowing, AHE tried to follow reason to leave instead of standing still in front of his father's room. But something held him back, prompting him to open the wooden door to peek inside. Should or not? His hands trembled. AHE struggles intensely psychologically. He shouldn't invade his father's privacy. But he wanted to know, wanted to see with his own eyes what was happening behind the door that was blocking before him. He did so.
Through the gap in the door, AHE's eyes widened. It was dark, but he could still see everything. His hands trembled again. He covered his mouth, trying not to make a sound in surprise. He had never seen his father cry, but now he saw him sobbing in someone else's arms.
Prussia.
AHE felt his face heat up. He closed his eyes and exhaled slowly. Maybe he got it wrong? Then he peeked through the gap in the door again. No, that's clearly the Prussia you know.
Is it a dream? He never thought he'd see them in the same place.
AHE was startled to hear his father scream. He held his breath, feeling like his heart was going to explode when he heard him cry and beg in despair. He heard Prussia say something about someone who would hear. Well, he's here.
AHE felt so unbelievable. He had never heard his father beg for anyone before, and he didn't think he would.
Prussia ignored AE's anguished cries and continued. He saw his father contort, leaving long scratches on Prussia's back, groaning incessantly begging him to stop. He really wanted to see what his father looked like right now, but unfortunately the room was too dark for him to see in detail.
The fork fell from his hand with a metallic clang, bringing AHE back to reality. When did he finish his meal? Perhaps he was too immersed in his own train of thought.
AHE got up and left the dining room. His father wouldn't tell, even if he asked. So he'll try to follow up a few more times. Probably nothing will happen.
