It had been a long day. The hexide squad were exhausted, but Luz, amity, vee and hunter decided to do a 3 am challenge! Because why not, who doesn't love a bit of fun?
Once they hit the 3 am mark, however, Luz felt her stomach rumble, as did amity. And Camila threw out the snacks as she wanted the kids to eat healthily. W in my opinion but this ain't ab me. This is about them.
Amity turned to Luz, and Luz smirked. They knew what had to be done.
"Heyy Hunter, Vee." Luz said, snickering at her words.
"What do you need?" Vee asked, smiling, she was just happy to not be in the hands of belos, she was happy to be here rather than a cage, she was easy to convince. Hunter, however, probably wasn't so easy. He's now obsessed with cosmic frontiers, she had to think of how to convince him and add it..

Perfect!
"Heyyy hunter…" Luz began. Hunter looked, uncomfortable in a way. "What is it Luz?"
"Wouldn't it be a shame if I threw out cosmic frontiers before you finished it?"
Hunter was taken aback. Even amity was!
"You wouldn't.."
"I would! Now.. listen up you two! I need you guys to go to the minimart for some snacks! Preferably Doritos, they're like hex mix, but a little yummier. There's a bigger variety and the entire stock doesn't belong to eda!"
"Okay! Let's go hunter! Noceda bonding!!"
Luz grinned. "They're so easy to fool."
Amity giggled, "Luz! That was so bad."
"I know! But I want you to try Doritos!!"
Amity smiled and kissed Luz.

Hunter and Vee were in hoodies, and hunter had earmuffs on to hide his ears, they were pretty flexible, considering belos didn't have the right materials for sturdy ears. And he hardly watered Hunter before he came up.
Vee was just in her human form, happy to be with her new brother, although she was sure based on Hunters' story he would get adopted by Darius when they returned, she still enjoyed considering him her brother.
They arrived at the market. Hunter took a deep breath and walked in. Vee checked around, then came to a realisation. "Uhm, hunter…" she whispered. "Yes vee?"
"I.. we weren't given money!!"
Oh.
Oh crap.
Hunter cringed. "I was handed money but I left it- I forgot!!" He got scared and flinched as Vee put her hand on his shoulder. He thought that she'd do something Belos would.
She just giggled. "Don't worry. I got a plan."
She led Hunter out. "Alright so, here's the plan. I'll distract the cashier while you go and grab the Doritos. Deal? You'll need to hide the tag from that censor."
Hunter grinned and nodded. "I've never stolen anything before!"
Vee looked a little unconvinced. Since belos is a monster. And Hunter did nearly steal palismen.

Luz and amity got a little bored when Hunter and Vee, or the ‘Funky duo’ as Luz called them, were taking so long. The store was only a minute away.

Vee went up to the cashier. "Heyy! Got any uhm, snails here?"
The cashier was a little confused. "I don't know." She walked off, and hunter snickered when he got the thumbs up from vee. He snatched the Doritos, 3 packs, and ran, then vee facepalmed.
Oh.
Right.
Stealing.
Illegal.
The alarm went off and vee ran with hunter, they ran in home and panted.
"What took you guys so long??" Asked Luz.
"You don't wanna know." They both said at the exact same time.
