As easy as loving him

Summary:

He was dancing in the kitchen. He always did. Hiccup loved it about Jack. Sweet short drabble. I suck at summaries.

Work Text:

He was dancing in the kitchen. He always did. Hiccup loved it about Jack. The guardian was most of the time happy and having fun, playing or dancing. Jack looked always so stong and still so delicated, so beautiful, so free. Hiccup loved to watch him dance, even when Jack started to dance in the most random places.

When the brunett was caught staring, he blushed slightly, action that was rewarded with a smirk from the white-haired, wich caused him to blush even more. Jack came closer to Hiccup and extended his hand in his direccion as if to ask him if he wanted to dance. The dragon trainer accepted by gabbing it and stood on his feet. It might have been hard to dance with an iron foot, but it was totally worth it. He had gotten used to it.

They didn't dance the happy rythm that was surely playing before in the other one's head. No, they danced something slower, apparently, because it had to be danced close and smoothly. The white-haired boy started humming the melody that seemed to come out of nowhere, and Hiccup had to admit it was a nice song. Even if it didn't have lyrics, it sounded so nice, so in love.

The brunett was enjoying this calming dance thoroughly and deeply thought that yeah, he could live like this forever. Maybe that was the reason he had said yes all those years before. Maybe because, even if it was hard to dance with an iron leg, it was easier with Jack. Perhaps because the guardian made it as easy as loving him.
