Summary:

Pop-punk phenomenon By Together seems to have it all figured out. They've got the fame, the fortune, the sold-out tour, the lucrative record deal, the respect of their musical peers. They're even flying to Seoul for a massive stadium show, something that the Korean media is calling the 'concert of a lifetime.' From the inside, though, cracks are forming — cracks in their friendship, cracks in their humility, cracks in Yeonjun's head.

As the Seoul show inches closer, Yeonjun starts seeing things — horrible things — that make him question if he and his friends are on the right path. Through the haze of visions he doesn't fully understand, Yeonjun knows there's a choice to be made. Can he be strong enough to pull his friends out of a bad situation and lead them home safely? Can the group that called themselves 'By Together' all those years ago actually work together now to prevent a terrible tragedy, or is it already too late?

This fic is inspired by TXT's music video lore, specifically the VCRs currently used during the Sweet Mirage Tour. After seeing TXT live, I couldn't get this idea out of my head and, with some serious encouragement from my wonderfully talented MOA girlfriend, I decided to try and bring it to life. 'By Together' is a bit of an experiment. I've never written anything that combines so many genres and it's been a lot of fun to take themes of angst, friendship, darkness, fantasy, disaster and destiny and turn them into something based around five of my favorite guys. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Please note that this AU is purely fiction and is meant for adults.

Content warnings apply for death, mentions of anxiety, substance abuse, some violence and slight gore.

This is not a fluffy, romantic, happy AU (but it WILL be an interesting ride) so please read at your own risk!
