He snorted. “I’ll be sure to file a complaint with the manufacturer on your behalf.”
“Shit! That was unbelievably rude,” she sputtered, cheeks flushing, waving her hands as if to fan away her words. “It just slipped out, I’m so sorry! I promise I usually think before I speak, it’s just been a really long week. I’m– I’m Loren.”
“I go by Odd Ball.”
She relaxed a bit, and her smile returned. “Nice to meet you, Odd Ball.”
“Pleasure’s all mine.”

I never thought in a million years I would record a podfic, simply because I didn't engage much with the podfic community. I still don't mostly because I find listening to a fic to be less rewarding than reading one, but I have a new appreciation for them since recording this and especially because many of these amazing podficcers out there are creating works that my spouse can listen to.
This fic is very dear to my heart. It was published shortly after I got married and follows the relationship of two blindingly oblivious idiots in love who are so very similar to Austifox and I. Honestly, there are so many moments in this fic that I just felt like echoed parts of my own journey with my spouse. Recording this for them has been a joy.
