Chapter Text
"Kakashi,” Itachi squeaked, bright red.
“What?” his boyfriend responded, cool as ever.
“This-um-this doesn’t-” he stuttered out, suddenly interrupted by Anko’s laugh.
“You’re gonna give the poor guy a heart attack.”
She leaned on the table in their little restaurant room, smirking at her friends. Ever since Tenzou and Iruka had left the night had been getting slowly more…interesting, if Itachi wanted to put it in a way that didn’t make him want to hide from any past acquaintances he might have had.
Itachi adjusted himself slightly in his new position on Kakashi’s lap, still blushing. “I can sit on my own, I don’t-I don’t know.”
Kakashi laughed under his breath and gently traced his thumb over Itachi’s thigh. “But it’s more fun like this, isn’t it?”
Itachi covered his face with his hands, too flustered to say anything. Anko laughed again.
“We should just send you two home, you need more than a room.”
“Hey, you were free to bring your girlfriend or your lover, you chose not to.” Kakashi rebutted.
“They were busy,” Anko complained, “I hate feeling so single. I wanna be horny in public too.”
Itachi made a small, distressed noise.
Kakashi shook his head. “I’m hokage, I can do what I want. Don’t try to shame me. Besides, I’ve appeared worse in public.”
As he spoke, his fingers teased at the hem of Itachi’s shirt, doing absolutely nothing to help him stop burning up.
“That’s because you’re a nasty little pervert.”
“And so what if I am?”
They shrugged. “I mean, I don’t know, I am a whore. But Itachi is, like, dying right now, as is typical for our innocent baby.” Itachi could hear the teasing grin in her voice.
“He likes me the way I am.” Kakashi responded, sounding proud.
Kakashi had yet to stop his fingers, and they now traced over Itachi’s stomach, trailing along old scars.
“I guess,” Itachi caught her eye, and they shot him a grin, “Since that’s so true, I think I’ll head out for the night. Osada should have finished up by now.”
“You’re so considerate, Anko,” Kakashi said, “Now all I have to do is pick up the check.”
“Yep. You said you’d treat, don’t act like it’s a pain now,” they stood up, grabbing their bag, “Bye, Itachi. Have a good night.”
“Bye, Anko. You too.”
Kakashi watched Anko leave for a second, fingers still running softly over Itachi’s stomach.
“So, Kakashi, are we going to-”
Kakashi pressed a soft kiss to the skin of Itachi’s neck, making him completely lose his train of thought.
“Ah-oh, um, okay,”
“Pretty boy,” he whispered, his breath warm on Itachi’s neck.
He placed another set of kisses along his neck and jaw, hands both finding their way under his shirt.
“K-kakashi, hey, we can’t-”
“Can’t?” Kakashi’s voice was warm and thick, and Itachi wanted to melt into him completely.
“Well, I, um, couldn’t-”
Kakashi readjusted his hands, one on his back and one on his thigh, and swung Itachi suddenly off his lap. He pinned him gently to the seat, studying his still blushing face.
“What are you trying to say, love?”
“Ah.” Itachi’s voice was smaller than he wanted it to be, “Well, someone could, uh,” how did Kakashi always manage to look so perfect, “You know, they could-could find us.”
Finally, he could get the words out.
Kakashi smiled, almost a smirk. “I’m not worried.”
He pressed a kiss to Itachi’s lips, and he accepted it needly, despite his half-formed attempts at protest. He wanted to care about that, but it really couldn’t be top priority right now. Kakashi ran his hands messily up Itachi’s body, kissing him deeper. Every little shift of Kakashi’s body was absolutely electric on his, and he ached for each tiny touch. Kakashi broke the kiss, dipping for his neck again.
“I should leave a mark,” he breathed, “I’d like it if everyone knew you were mine.”
Itachi mumbled some flustered response under his breath, and Kakashi bit at his neck. Itachi made a noise that he would only describe as embarrassing. Kakashi worked his mouth over the spot on Itachi’s neck, tongue tracing tender skin.
He pulled away with a low sigh, tugging Itachi up after him.
“You’re adorable,” he said, pink in the cheeks.
Itachi nodded, hand going to the spot on his neck without thought.
“Don’t worry about it,” Kakashi said lightly. He leaned into Itachi, “You’ll have some more by tomorrow morning.”
Itachi laughed, nervous, but not badly so.
“I’ll go pay the bill, let’s go home.”
