Work Text:
The women who met years ago were both beautiful but had different personality traits. Salena was a flirt and a PA person and would shower her partner with affection as much as she can and doesn't care what others think. Teya was very kind and caring, She always smiled and was so sweet when she does anything for her girlfriend.
But, years go by and something has changed both their lives.
---
They now weren't girlfriends, they're now soon-to-be married and both still squeal with joy. hours before one of them proposed to each other, Salena had thought that it was gonna be a special day for them to celebrate their anniversary until Teya got down to one knee and shows her a beautiful gold ring that Salena kept rambling about for months.
"Oh my GOSH! yes! yes! yes!!" Salena cries out happily, Teya grins and chuckles at her love's reaction.
"I haven't even said my speech yet." she continues to chuckle.
"OH! Sorry sorry, please say it." Salena took a quick second to collect herself but couldn't hide her smile but Teya didn't mind.
"Well, I just wanna say... I know you've been waiting forever and here we are right now. I'm so happy because this is the best thing that could have possibly happened in our lives. We started as friends that met, represent Eurovision, end up in the bottom 6, then became more than that after Eurovision and I can't imagine life without you anymore." Teya stood up and asks for Salena's hand before sliding the ring on her finger. It was perfect and so simple but so stunning it made Salena want to cry tears of happiness.
"Teya, I don't think words are big enough to express how thankful I am. I promise that I will give you the BESTEST and WILDEST life you've ever seen." Salena wipes away the single tear rolling down her face.
"You already gave me a pretty damn good life already, love." Teya kisses Salena's forehead softly before giving it another quick peck."
"And I'll do more," Salena adds
"And more!" Salena smiles widely before hugging her soon-to-be wife tightly.
---
The only two words repeating in Teya's head were "Holy Shit." The first thought she ever had upon seeing Salena walking down the aisle for the first time, The only thing she could describe the other girl as was beautiful.
She couldn't understand why this beautiful woman was more than perfect in her wedding gown. She knew that Salena looked like a Goddess but, this time, nothing else can be compared to her. It felt like all of the breath was stolen from her lungs, even when she was holding her breath, her heart rate increased and she could barely feel her pulse. This wedding gown was breathtakingly beautiful and Teya swore that it wasn't just because of how many expensive jewels were placed inside the gown or the way everything was positioned, the colors, the style, the jewelry.
~~~
Time was moving fast and Salena was now in front of Teya. The memory of Teya's reaction to Salena in her gown was embedded in both minds forever. Teya hadn't moved and she just stared at her in utter amazement.
Teya was silent and Salena didn't know how much she was blushing. The silence lasted forever until the priest said the phrase they'd wanted to hear for an eternity.
"you may kiss the bride." The priest announces.
Teya grabs the back of Salena's neck and gave her a delicate kiss on her lips. The rest of the guests cheered, clapped and some screamed. and other praises. They're both sure their mothers are wiping tears of joy away from their eyes. When the lovebirds pull apart, Teya gives her new bride a huge hug. Salena just wraps her arms around the taller woman's waist and hugs back, feeling Teya's hands wrapped around her waist.
"My Lovely lovely Wife" Salena mumbles.
