Every time MK looked at Red Son, all he could see now was his old friend.
He had no idea who Red Son was, or who his family was, until the day that he saw him try to take the Monkey King’s staff.
Since that day, every encounter with him was like a knife to the heart. It was as if Red Son left behind everything they built up together to do his parents' bidding.
MK didn’t think he would ever have to fight the person he loved most. He didn’t want to.
He wished that he had a choice.
