Regulus was ready to die,he was being dragged by inferius to the lake,he accepted his destiny,the only regret he had was to not meet his soulmate.Before the darkness could consume him completely,he saw a man swimming to him,trying to get his hand and then everything went black.
When Regulus woke up,he didn’t recognize the room. The only proof that the cave wasn’t a dream was the locket in the headboard.When he got up a house elf popped into the room.”Master Ekrizdis is waiting for star to wake up,Master waiting in the dinner room”and the popped out.Regulus was amused to be referred as the Star,but his slytherin side kick it,he was in a stranger's house,a part of his mind kept saying”But he saved your life,he could easily kill you in your sleep”.
Regulus changed to the clothes that were on the table.And made his way through the hall.He followed the scent of food and found the table with a banquet.Regulus was alarmed,maybe there are other people here,when he heard an attractive voice that gave him chills.
“Don’t worry,my little star,this is all for you.I won’t hurt you,I promise”The man said.
Regulus blushed because of the Nickname and the man talking in his ear.
“Who are you?”Regulus said.
“I go by many name,but you can call me Ekrizdis Eridanus Mortem”The man,no Ekrizdis whispered in his ear.
Regulus automatically touched his wrist where the same name was written.
“Oh,I see you finally understand,you don’t know how much I waited to meet you,my little star.”He said, showing Regulus' name on his wrist.
“Well,you must be hungry,let’s sit and eat.”
The two sit next to each other,Ekrizdis waiting patiently for Regulus to think and associate the events that happened.
“Where are we?”Regulus asked
“We are at the Mors sanctuary”Ekrizdis looked pleased at the shocking face of his little star.
“I thought it was a myth,”Regulus continued.
“Oh no,it's very much real,I can give you a tour if you want to”Ek offered.
Reggie nodded.”I would like to”
The dinner passed quietly,after they finished Ek got up and offered his hand to Reggie,who looked unsure but grabbed it in the end.
They started walking through the sanctuary,with Ek showing the lake,then the potions labs that got Regulus excited.And he led Regulus to the guests room.
“Woah,the sanctuary, it's very beautiful”Regulus praised.
“It makes me very happy that you liked my star.”Regulus still blushed at the nickname.
Then a pain in his left arm got Ek worried.
“Don’t worry,it’s nothing”Regulus lied.
“My star,show me,I can help.”Ek said
“I swear that it will not change how i feel about you.”Ek continued
“Promise?”Regulus asked uncertain
“Yes.”Ek replied.
Regulus showed the Dark Mark on his left arm,expecting a disgusted face,but found none.Ekrizdis grabbed his arm and spoke in a strange language,what followed made Regulus speechless,the Dark Mark started to melt like water.
Before Ek could say anything.Regulus jumped and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
When Regulus noticed what he had done,he was mortified.But Ekrizdis could only smile with his hand on the place he was kissed.That made Regulus relaxed.
“No,that is done.We need to solve the issue about the Horcrux.”Ek said, still smiling.
Regulus sat straight at the mention of the Horcrux.
“I find it very noble of you to almost sacrifice yourself,but don’t do it again,ok?.I can’t lose you,okay” Regulus could only nodded.Happy that someone wanted him,for the way he was.
Feeling brave enough,he kissed him on the lips.That night they slept cuddling together,without having to think about the war.Just the two of them.
