Chapter 1: let's not a-void the issue

Chapter Text

Chapter 1 let's not a-void the issue

The Terrible Trio woke up in a dark, cold place, where everything was in ruins.

"How many times are we going to pass out, just to wake up in a mysterious place?" Mya said, rubbing her head.

"Are you kidding me? I'll never get tired of waking up like this!" Oliver said.

"Where's Jorge?" Mya asked.

Jorge was upside-down, stuck in a pile of rocks.

"Sounds about right. Again."

Oliver pulled Jorge out. "I'm getting a strong sense of deja vu," Oliver said.

Jorge took out the map. "Map! Where are we?"

The map… wasn't working.

"Oh no… this is exactly what happened when we destroyed the Aegis, and the islands were almost…" Oliver said.

"SUCKED INTO THE VOID!!!" Jorge yelled. He fell to his knees dramatically. "Ugh…"

"Calm down, Jorge!" Oliver said, shaking him.

"How can I calm down?! We'll never get out of here! We're stuck here forever!" Jorge yelled. He took out his inhaler and took a whiff. "That’s better! But we're still stuck."

"Oh, ok… let's all just stop and think about our options, ok?" Mya said, trying her best not to freak out too.

Oliver looked out into the Void. There were an infinite amount of floating islands and objects that have been erased from history, from every timeline.

"Spencer Albright is down here, remember? Let's find him, maybe he can help us!" Oliver said.

Meanwhile, on Popgaea…

After Kronos had woken up, he pulled the Villain Jonas out of himself. Then he had sent the Role Reversal villains back to their universe.

All except the Villain Jonas.

"I think you deserve a special punishment! How about an all expenses paid vacation to the Nexus?" Kronos said. He waved his rattle, and the Villain Jonas was gone.

Kronos turned to his fellow Titans. "Alright fellas… let's disband."

"What?!" They said, except Koios.

"Party's over! I… need to be alone right now." Kronos said.

They reluctantly left. Before Koios closed the door, he said, "Take all the time you need, little brother."

Kronos sat down on his throne and sighed.

He had to restore the Nexus, by pulling it out of himself. But he knew it would be difficult...

The Nexus was created by his subconscious while he was still in pieces. Yes, he could bring it back as his regular self, but he was afraid he'd reset back to his childlike subconscious form.

"Hmm… I really don't want to be a cute baby again. But… if I do this, I'll finally be doing the right thing for once! Everyone will consider me a good leader, and I wouldn't have to force them this time! That's what a good leader does, right? Put themselves second, put their citizens first? Ugh…"

He rubbed his temples. He was getting a headache!

The nice smell of bread and wheat filled the room.

“Oh…What a nice smell!” Kronos said, closing his eyes and taking a whiff. “Reminds me of the simpler times, when it was just me and…”

When he opened his eyes, he was not in the throne room anymore. He was in a wheat field.

A figure approached him. It was a lioness.

Kronos gasped. “Rhea?!”

Chapter 2 you can do it!

Everyone in Poptropica was still recovering from the Role Reversal villains and their attack. Unfortunately, the islands were still fused and Chthonians were still flying around.

Aphrodite flew to the PNN (Popgaea News Network) station.

"Oh my goodness! Should we bow?" someone said when she entered.

“Yes, please! I love being bowed to!” Aphrodite said. “Oh wait! I’m afraid there’s no time!”

Aphrodite went in front of the camera.

"Citizens of Poptropica! Listen!"

All around Poptropica, the citizens had all tuned into PNN.

Octavian and Paulla were hanging out at Director D's place. You know, since their floating island got destroyed.

Octavian sighed. Sometimes he wished they would leave Poptropica once and for all. But Paulla didn't want to leave. So, they stayed. Despite the constant danger.

Octavian would never admit it to Paulla, but he absolutely hated the existence of other timestreams. If he could find a way to control the Multiverse, he would.

But… he can't. Maybe he could before, when his only threats were Spencer Albright and the Protectors. But those days were long gone, baby. Too many timestreams mixed together now.

Director D was watching PNN.

"Citizens of Poptropica! Mya, Oliver, and Jorge need your help!" Aphrodite said on the news.

That grabbed Octavian's attention. "What?" He went closer to the TV.

"Aren't those kids that she mentioned your friends?" Paulla asked.

"No… they're not my friends." Octavian said.

Aphrodite continued, by showing a picture of the Terrible Trio (not a very flattering one, but whatever).

"Oh wow!" Paulla said, laughing.

"The Terrible Trio, a weird name I know, are risking their lives to stop Kronos!" Aphrodite said. She had no idea that the children fell into the Void.

"They knew that they risked suffering a horrible death, but they did it anyway. We have to help them in their mission!"

Everyone in Poptropica was confused.

"But how can we help them?" Ishmael asked.

"You're probably wondering how you can help them! Just think about them, and cheer them on! That's what we can do!" Aphrodite said.

Octavian shook his head. "I'm not entirely sure how cheering for them will help…"

Paulla began cheering. "Go Terrible Trio! You can do it!"

Octavian tried not to laugh. He looked at Director D. "So? Will you cheer for them?"

Director D shrugged. "I know they fake things on the news sometimes, but… Anything to get you two out of my house. Go Mya, Oliver, and Jorge! You can do it!"

Octavian did not say anything. He refused to cheer for them.

Kronos was very shocked to see Rhea.

"Rhea? What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Just wanted to see how you are." Rhea said.

"Nah… cut it out! Liar. What are you really doing here? I want to be alone right now." Kronos asked.

Rgea laughed. "For once in your life, you want to be alone? You must be really going through it."

Kronos chuckled a little. "Yeah…" He sighed. "I don't know what to do. I want to do the right thing, but…"

"You're just not used to doing it, huh? You're afraid about what will happen to you if you do it." Rhea said.

Kronos nodded.

"The same reason that you ate all our children. Because you were afraid of what they might do to you." Rhea said.

Kronos sniffled and wiped a tear. "Yeah… sorry about that… Man, I hate prophecies."

Rhea giggled. "Yeah, you sure do!"

"Well, it's about time I stopped only caring about myself! Oh, time? See what I did there?" Kronos said, laughing at his dumb joke.

Rhea nodded, looking like she'd rather be anywhere else. "Uh huh…"

Kronos stopped laughing, then he got up. He shook Rhea's hand (paw?)

"Thanks, Rhea. I really needed this. Now, you might wanna step back! I'm about to do something big!"

Chapter 3: something big

Chapter 3 something big

The Terrible Trio wandered around the Void, hopping from island to island.

They passed by many erased islands and people throughout time. Some from their universe, some from many others.

"Gosh… this place is kind of a downer." Jorge said.

"Well, of course it is, Jorge. Some of these people have probably been down here far longer than… thousands of years!" Oliver said.

"And they'll stay here forever. Unless we find a way to save them!" Mya said.

"You can't save us!" a voice said behind them. The trio jumped in fear.

“Who said that??” Jorge said.

A group of figures came forward from the shadows, riding many strange vehicles. All of their colors were inverted.

"Hey, nice bikes!" Oliver said.

"Thanks. We're from Racer Island . We used to live… up there." said a racer, pointing up.

"But then our island had a… 'collision', and now we're all stuck down here," said a racer.

"Well, I think Sleepy Biker stayed up there. Of all the people to make it…" said another racer, very annoyed.

Mya whispered to Oliver. "They're just teenagers. There are children stuck down here…"

Oliver whispered back. "I know. It's horrible."

Jorge whispered to them. "I think maybe we should beat it."

"No, Jorge. We have to help them." Mya said.

"Is that possible?" Oliver asked.

"I'm not sure. But… we'll see." Mya said.

The trio walked off. The racers started to rev up their engines…

"Uh oh! Let's beat it!" Jorge said, and they ran as the racers chased them.

The trio hopped from island to island as the racers continued after them. They landed on Rubber Hose Island, an island populated by old-timey cartoon characters.

"We'll never outrun them!" Mya said.

"Speak for yourself!" Jorge said. They jumped down to WaterThrill Island , a waterpark island.

The trio slid on a loop de loop water slide.

"Whoo-hoo! Yeah!" Oliver said. One of the Racers fell in a pool.

They landed on Giant Island , filled with sad looking giants.

"Man, it must be difficult for these guys to find the right shoe size!" Jorge said.

The children heard the sounds of engines behind them. One more Racer was still hot on their trail! He grabbed Oliver and sped away!

"No, Oliver!" Mya said. They ran after the Racer, hopping to another island. But they couldn't keep up, and soon they were gone.

Mya and Jorge stopped to catch their breaths.

"He's gone…" Mya said. She couldn't believe it.

Meanwhile, up above…

The Good Jonas was pulled back into the real world by Kronos. Rhea and the wheat field were gone.

"Kronos! Something terrible has happened!" Jonas said.

"Don't worry, Jonas! I know what I have to do now! I'll turn Popgaea back into Poptropica. I'll pull the Nexus back out of me. I'm not sure what will happen to me when I do it, but I've got to!" Kronos said.

"No, wait! I need your help with-"

"Because that's what a good leader would do!" Kronos said, then flew off.

"Oh no… they're still trapped in the Void!" Jonas said. He ran out of the building.

In the Void…

The Racer carried Oliver away.

"Let go of me! Where are you taking me?" Oliver asked.

"Taking you to the boss, duh!" said the racer.

The Racer took out a walkie-talkie. "I found them, sir. Well, one of them."

"I'm getting deja vu…" Oliver said. The Racer dropped Oliver off at an unknown island.

"Ow…" Oliver said. A figure approached him.

Oliver gasped. “I can’t believe it!”

"Well! Look who decided to show up.” Spencer Albright said.

Chapter 4 we're all in this together!

Oliver hugged Spencer Albright. “Oh, it’s so good to see you! You have no idea what we've been through!"

Spencer held his hand out. "You can explain it to me while we walk."

As they walked, Oliver explained the whole Kronos situation.

"That’s… a lot to take in." Spencer said. "I missed a lot, haven't I?"

"Yeah. A lot! Poptropica's so much different than when you were last there. If you were to see it, you wouldn't believe it!" Oliver said.

"Oh, I imagine! I've been down here for a while and seen many erased islands from alternate timestreams. I've also discovered some disturbing truths about our reality… but I'll get into that later." Spencer said. "Right now, I've been working with a few of them to find a way back."

Oliver wrote all this down in his notebook, so he'd remember. "Awesome!" Oliver said. "But we have to find Mya and Jorge first. Where are we going, anyway?"

"To see my friends." Spencer Albright led Oliver to Dark Raven's Island.

Meanwhile…

Mya and Jorge landed on Tax Cut Island

"Hm… this island isn't that entertaining. Even if it were in Poptropica, and not the Void." Jorge said.

They saw a figure fly overhead. Well, they thought they did. It's very dark.

The figure flew back around… and flew towards them!

"Hit the dirt!" Jorge said, and the two ducked. But the figure grabbed them! They were carried up.

"Well, look who I caught!" Dark Astro-Knight said. He was riding his version of the Mother Phoenix.

"Put us down!" Jorge said.

"We're 50 feet in the air, Jorge. We'll fall!" Mya said.

"It's ok! It's a void, so we'll float too!" Jorge said.

"Have you two been to Stephen King Island? It's down here, you know!" D.A.K. said. He carried them to the erased Monster Carnival Island.

Dark Astro-Knight pushed them in a small tent. "Stay here! I'll get the boss."

Mya covered her eyes in fear. "I don't want to be a butterfly monster again. Bugs are gross!"

Jorge patted her. "It's ok, Mya. We'll get out of here."

Mya shook her head and sat down. "You know, we've been to the point of no return many many times. Too many times for me to count. But every single time, the three of us have found a way through. But, Jorge… this time we're quite literally at the point of no return. We're not trapped in a prison or on a deserted island or even at the end of time like we were at the Nexus. We're literally outside of time. There's no coming back from this."

Jorge did not say anything, because he knew she was right. He sat down next to her.

"Well, I hope our heroic sacrifice hasn't been in vain. Hopefully Jonas is with Kronos right now, putting Poptropica back together again…" Jorge said. He thought about the eerie voice that led them here in the first place…

Mya shook her head. "I can’t believe we lost Oliver. He's gone, probably forever. We'll never find him down here, this place goes on forever."

"Yeah…" Jorge said. "This is all my fault."

"What? No, Jorge!" Mya said, shocked.

"It's true! I was the one who started all this. Back at the Nexus. Sure, we would've gone down different paths, but at least we wouldn't be stuck in a literal void forever. This is because of me! I'm sorry." Jorge said, and began to cry.

Mya hugged him. "Jorge, don't blame yourself. You know, we all chose to go back home together, to our rightful timeline. And you know what? Even though we're stuck here, well… I don't regret a single thing we did. And I know for sure Oliver would agree."

There was a voice behind them: "Yeah! It's true!"

It was Oliver! Mya and Jorge hugged him.

"Even if we never get out of here, I wouldn't change a thing I did." Oliver said.

"Me too. Well, actually, maybe I would change a few things…" Mya said.

"Uh! Mya!" Oliver said.

"Just kidding! I can joke too!" Mya said. "We thought we'd never find you, Oliver!"

"Wait! How did you even find us?" Jorge asked.

"Oh! Look who I found!" Oliver said. He pulled them out of the tent to show them Spencer Albright.

Mya and Jorge gasped.

"I know we're not supposed to be surprised that you're down here, but I still am." Mya said.

"Mr. Albright might have a way out of here! Right?" Oliver said, looking at him.

"Well… maybe. It's complicated. And we don't know how long it'll take." Spencer said.

There was a loud rumbling sound. The entire island shook!

"What the heck was that?!" Mya said.

Dark Astro-Knight pointed up. "There's an island coming!"

Sure enough, an island was being sucked into the Void in a bright blue light. Electric blue sparks came out, and everyone nearby grabbed them, including the carnival workers. They brought the sparks into the Ringmaster’s tent.

"Hey, I don't blame them. This is the first bit of brightness we've seen since we've been down here!" Oliver said.

"Why is an island being erased? I thought Kronos was in charge! He’s supposed to stop it." Mya said.

In Poptropica…

Kronos was attempting to separate the islands.

But in his haste, he accidentally caused one to slip from his grasp, into the Void!

"Uh oh. Ok, I did not mean to do that!" Kronos said. He used his powers to latch onto an island, trying to pull it back before it went all the way in.

Jonas caught up with Kronos, riding on the back of a flying Chthonian. "What’s going on?"

"Oh, nothing! Everything's fine, I've got it all under control!" Kronos said, still pulling the island back.

Chapter 5 the sweet escape

"I have no idea what Kronos is doing up there. I hope Jonas stops him!" Oliver said.

"Maybe Kronos is trying to fix the damage he's caused… but is too idiotic to know how." Mya said.

"This may be the perfect opportunity to pull off our plan! Come with me, quick!" Spencer said, leading them into the Ringmaster's tent.

"Ringmaster! It's happening again!" Spencer said.

The kids were led further into the tent. Dark Raven was working on his giant hypnotizing robot, which was shaped like a raven. The carnival workers brought Raven electric time sparks to power the robot.

"It's happening again? Right now?" Dark Raven asked. Dark Edgar was working with him.

"Yes, it is! Is it ready?" Spencer asked. “Those sparks won't last for long!”

"Um… I suppose." Dark Raven said unsurely.

"It's not ready." Mya said.

"Ready for what?" Oliver asked.

"Well…" Spencer said, "The Void is the infinite space between dimensions and outside of the infinite timestreams we refer to as the Multiverse, where lost pieces of history and deleted fragments of reality converge. The only thing that connects the Void to the timestreams is whenever an island is deleted from Poptropica willingly, or by a glitch in the system."

Jorge listened, trying to understand the information. "So, uh, for the kids in the Void, can you repeat that in English?"

"I think it means that we can get back to reality whenever an island is deleted and ends up here!" Oliver said.

"Almost right, Oliver! You must be at the top of your class." Spencer said.

"Well, yeah… but not at math, or English. That stuff is boring!" Oliver said.

Mya snickered at that. She liked English!

"Stooop." Oliver said.

Mya cleared her throat. "Sorry. Wait, what do you mean 'almost' right?"

"We can't actually make it through the portal ourselves," Spencer said, "But, if we can get close enough to send a message to the outside…"

Oliver snapped his fingers. "We can contact Kronos, and he'll pull us out!"

"We might actually have a shot…" Mya said. "Raven, get that machine ready!"

"I am! Gosh!" Dark Raven said, and Dark Edgar laughed at him.

Back in Poptropica…

Kronos was still pulling the island back up.

"Sweet Chaos, I'm out of shape! I would've been able to do this in a second back in the day!" He said.

Jonas was still trying to get Kronos' attention. "Kronos! The kids are trapped in the Void! They need your help!"

"What did you say, Jonas? I'm still pulling this island up from the Void. I can't focus on whatever it is you're saying…" Kronos said, but he was interrupted when he heard the cries from everyone all around Poptropica:

"Go Mya, Oliver, and Jorge! You can do it!"

"Go Terrible Trio! You can do it!"

Kronos' eyes widened. "Hey… wait a minute… they're cheering for… me?"

Jonas shook his head. "What? No…"

Kronos smiled. "They're cheering for me! They're cheering for them, and by extension me!"

Jonas was confused. "What?"

The power of the Poptropicans worshiping the Terrible Trio gave Kronos the strength that he needed. He began to pull the island up faster!

"I don't understand… why does Kronos think that they're cheering for him? " Jonas said.

The Terrible Trio, along with Spencer Albright, Dark Astro-Knight, Dark Raven, and his creepy carnies entered the giant robot machine, which had been converted into a ship.

Jorge tugged on Dark Raven's sleeve. "Can I pilot the ship?"

Raven pinched his cheeks and smiled. "Absolutely not."

"Don't take it personally. I asked too, but he said no!" Dark Edgar said, as Jorge rubbed his cheek.

"I can’t wait to leave this place. I'm so glad Chaos hasn't gotten us yet!" Dark Astro-Knight said.

"Wait… what? Who?" Mya asked.

"Put your seat belts on!" Dark Raven said.

Everyone did.

"Ok… here we go." Dark Raven turned the ship on, and the inside glowed an eerie green color.

"That color usually doesn't mean good." Mya said. "Has this machine been tested?"

"Oh! Great idea! Let's test it!" D.A.K said, and pulled the accelerate lever. They blasted off!

"AAAAHHH!!!" the children screamed.

They flew to the island being pulled out of the Void. They flew closer to the portal.

"The way this island is behaving is abnormal. Usually it takes about a minute for an island to fully arrive in the Void. But this island has been in the in-between point for 10 minutes now…" Spencer said.

Oliver squinted his eyes and looked through the portal. "Hey! I know why! Look!"

They saw Kronos pulling the island back to Poptropica, before it could fully fall into the Void.

"We might make it out!" Mya said. "I can’t believe it!"

In Poptropica…

Jonas cheered Kronos on. "You can do it buddy!"

"Oh! Thank you! It means much more coming from you!" Kronos said. He fully pulled the island back to Poptropica.

The islanders cheered.

"HOORAY! WE MADE IT!!" the balloon animals of Balloon Animal Island said.

"Man, out of all the islands that had to be saved… Balloon Animal Island." Jorge said, shaking his head.

The others just gave him a look.

"Just kidding! Come on!"

Chapter 6 the final connection

The trio exited the ship. Everyone around Poptropica was still cheering for them.

"What a positive reception. Aphrodite must've told them to cheer for us." Mya said.

Jonas approached the trio. "I thought I'd never see you guys again!" They all hugged.

"Speaking of people you never thought you'd see again…" Oliver said. He gestured to the ship.

Dark Astro-Knight came out. "FREEDOM!!! FINALLY!!!"

"Um…" Jonas said.

"Not him! Or her." Oliver said.

Dark Raven and the other carnies came out.

"We did it!!!" Dark Raven said.

"It's been so long since I've seen the sun!" Dark Edgar said.

"Um…" Jonas said.

"Not them either!" Oliver said.

Spencer Albright stepped out. Jonas' jaw dropped.

"I can’t believe it…" Jonas said. He tackled Spencer into a monster hug.

"I missed you so much!" Jonas said, crying.

Spencer sniffled. "I missed you too."

"Oh! There's so much I have to tell you! And show you! And ask you!” Jonas said. “Oh! My little buddy, Kronos!"

The Void escapees looked up at the giant creature known as Kronos.

"That’s… a big little buddy!" Dark Edgar said.

Kronos rubbed his stomach in an upset way.

"Oh, do you need me to burp you again? It's going to be more difficult now!" Jonas said, only half-joking.

"No… There's something important that I need to do. But, I just have to say something to the Terrible Trio first." Kronos said.

"Yeah?" The kids said.

"Um, well… I think it'd be more appropriate, and a bit poetic, if we had this conversation where it all began. Do you still have Mnemosyne's scroll?" Kronos asked.

Oliver showed it. "Here."

Kronos touched it, and the trio, Jonas, and Spencer Albright were transported inside of Kronos.

They were all back at the Nexus, which exists inside of Kronos.

Kronos appeared to them in the form of his subconscious self, a tiny baby. "Hey guys!"

"So! You really did create the Nexus! This place really is your subconscious! Amazing!" Spencer said.

"Yeah! Hey, don't try to control my mind again!" Lil Kronos said.

"Don't worry, I won't." Spencer said.

Kronos made the crystals show several scenes of creatures all around Poptropica still cheering for the Terrible Trio.

"Go Mya, Oliver, and Jorge! You can do it!"

"Go Terrible Trio! You can do it!"

"My mom would be so proud!" Jorge said.

"Us Titans are powered by people remembering and worshiping us. Same as the Gods. And when they cheered for you three, I was empowered!" Kronos said.

"But how, Kronos? You're not them." Jonas said.

"Just listen. I've been confused by the Terrible Trio for a long time. I thought, 'why them? Why these versions, specifically?' And then I realized: you three mean more to me than I ever realized." Kronos said.

"What? What do you mean?" Oliver asked.

"My whole time down here, looking at all of these different timestreams and infinite possibilities, I kept wondering: how come this had to happen to me? How come so many people get to live the perfect lives they're supposed to live, while others have to struggle and suffer? No fair!" Kronos said.

"I know how that felt." Mya said.

"Yes yes! All three of you did!” Kronos said, hopping about. “But then, that moment you had at the end of your first adventure… Did you know that out of every single universe in existence, yours is the first one where you three had that touching moment in the Nexus?" Kronos said.

"Wow, really?" Oliver said.

"Yeah! On a surface level, I was so confused. I was like, 'You three could literally have anything you've ever wanted, but you chose to accept what you already had? That's not what I would've done!' But your words, well, I would've never admitted it back then, but… I really was affected by them. I wondered what it would be like, to finally accept my fate. And then… that’s when I split." Kronos said.

Jonas gasped. "What? You split? Impossible! You can't split, every version of you is the same!"

"I did split. I did, I did! But only a little bit. I split… and parts of me went inside the kids." Kronos said.

"What?!" The kids said.

"Yep! You guys and I are connected in more ways than you think." Kronos said, giggling. "You three represent different aspects of time. Mya, who helps people learn from the past, Jorge, who helps people find happiness in the present, and Oliver, who helps people look towards the future!"

Kronos shaked all of their hands. "Congratulations! You've ascended!"

Jorge gasped. "Does that mean we get to live forever?"

Kronos laughed. "Oh… NO. It means… you guys are the same as you were before. You have a special connection to the Nexus, and time crystals. You already knew that. I was just explaining how ."

"So… that's it?" Mya said.

"Cool." Oliver said.

"So, what happens now, Kronos?" Jonas asked.

Kronos sighed. "I have to pull the Nexus out of me. It went back inside when I was pieced back together. With the Nexus restored, I'm not sure what will happen to me." Kronos sighed. "But… we'll see. No more avoiding my fate."

Jonas hugged Kronos. "I'm proud of you, little buddy."

"I'm just glad that we didn't have to defeat you after all, like the prophecy said!" Jorge said.

"Well, we still kind of did, technically. We are a part of Kronos, and he's defeating himself. So technically , we are too." Oliver said.

"I feel dizzy." Mya said, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, your stepmom's been feeling that lately too! Tell her and dad, 'Congratulations' from me." Kronos said.

"What?" Mya and Oliver said.

"Alright! Off I go! Bye!" Kronos said.

There was a bright flash of light.

When everyone woke up, they were on Mythology Island.

"Ugh… what happened?" Mya said, rubbing her head. "Seriously, how many times are we going to wake up like this?"

Jonas was faced away, holding something in his hand. It was glowing blue.

"Jonas? What is that?" Oliver asked.

Jonas showed them. It was… an egg?

"Is that what I think it is?" Oliver asked.

Jonas smiled. "It sure is!"

The egg hatched, and baby Kronos came out!

"Hello, world! It's meeee!" Kronos said.

"Oh… he's alright." Jorge said.

"Yep! I think I had a system reboot or something." Kronos said, scratching his butt.

"Thank goodness you're ok!" Spencer said.

"Uh huh!" Kronos said, sucking his thumb. Restoring the Nexus had caused his true self to be rebooted. Now he was back to his baby form.

Chapter 7 the aftermath

Well… I suppose almost everything was back to normal.

The only difference being that Kronos was now allowed to wander around freely. The other criminal Titans were put back in Tartarus.

Zeus brought the Terrible Trio, Jonas, and Kronos to the restored Mount Olympus.

"Alright father, I'm going to keep a close eye on you. No more funny business, you understand? If you act out of line once, I'll throw you back into Tartarus." Zeus said.

"He's just a baby now! That's not fair!" Mya said.

" SHHHH! Shut it. You three Liners may have saved the world, but that doesn't mean I owe you any respect." Zeus said.

"How come he's so much nicer when he's acting as Dr. Juniper?" Oliver whispered to the others.

"Oh! Crack theory! Dr. Juniper is his split personality-" Jorge said.

Thunder and lightning appeared in the sky.

"Uh… never mind!"

The trio quickly left the room.

"Let’s go home, Kronos." Jonas said, carrying Kronos away.

"Home! I can't wait to go to my new home, with you!" Kronos said.

"Yes! We can hang out together, forever!" Jonas said.

"Or at least, until Chaos comes to take back what's theirs." Kronos said, yawning.

"Um… what?"

But Kronos already fell asleep. Jonas realized that their troubles may not be completely over…

But for now, they can relax and enjoy themselves.

As the heroes walked along the beach of Mythology Island, they noticed a familiar plane in the sky.

Oliver pointed up. "Hey! Is that-"

Amelia landed her plane by the group.

"Amelia! How are you?" Mya asked.

"Pretty good! All things considered. Hope in. I've got something to show you!" Amelia said.

Amelia flew them to a different island.

"Something special is waiting for you!" Amelia said.

Kronos giggled mischievously.

Amelia led them to a group of statues, similar to the ones on Home Island. Except the three heroes were the Terrible Trio!

"An island just for you three! So people can come here, and remember what you've done for Poptropica!" Kronos said.

"Wow!" Oliver said.

"We get our very own statues? Not what I was expecting to come out of this adventure, but I'll take it." Mya said, looking very proud.

"We've got to take a picture!" Jorge said. "Oh, on second thought, maybe not. My mom will ask questions."

Mya and Oliver gasped, remembering. "Our parents!"

"Yeah. But, then again, I'm trying not to hide things from her anymore. Ok! Let's take a picture!" Jorge took out his phone and took the picture.

"Kronos, you restored the Multiverse, right?" Mya asked.

"Uh huh!" Kronos said, chewing on his tail.

"Good! Goodbye!" Mya said, raising her time crystal. Oliver raised his time crystal.

Jorge was looking at his picture. "This is a pretty unflattering picture. Maybe we should take another-"

"JORGE!" Mya and Oliver said.

"Ok, ok!" Jorge raised his time crystal. "Bye!" The trio disappeared in a flash of blue light.

"Um, ok! See ya!" Amelia said.

On Earth…

The trio appeared on Earth the exact moment they left.

"We couldn't have imagined all that, could we?" Jorge asked, referencing the end of their first adventure.

Mya laughed sarcastically. "Very funny, Jorge." The bus came.

The trio made it to the Hartman-Wong residence.

Kevin and Sandy were sitting on the couch, whispering to each other. Maria, Jorge’s mother, was also there.

"Mommy! What are you doing here?" Jorge said.

"Oh! I'm sorry that I didn't call, mijo! I didn't get the chance to tell you!" Maria said. She gave her son a kiss.

"Not in front of my friends, mommy!" Jorge said, although he really didn't mind.

"Oh! We kids have exciting news to tell you! Uh…" Kevin said, and looked to his wife, "I think maybe you should tell it, honey."

Sandy nodded. "Yes! You see, Mya and Oliver, you two will be getting a younger sibling!"

Mya and Oliver's jaws dropped.

Then Oliver jumped in the air happily! "Yeah! Alright!"

Mya sat on the floor. "I need a glass of water. And a stress ball."

The end…

Chapter 8 Epilogue

…Or is it?

Down in the Nexus…

The Villain Jonas was trapped in solitary confinement, in the deepest darkest part of the Nexus.

"I'm not done… not by a long shot..." He muttered to himself. He drew on the walls, the same figure over and over again. The figure of an endless cloud with a single bright light in the middle.

"This whole time, I've been worshiping the wrong deity! But my new lord… Lord Chaos… When I get out here, I promise, I'll free you! And you'll destroy everything! Everything will finally be as it's supposed to be!

Ok, now The End!

Trapped outside of time.

Surrounded by rejects.

Low on time crystals.
