Sitting on her nightstand was a floral printed photo album, the one that belong to her mom oh so many years ago. Flipping through the pages now brought back so many memories. Of her exploring KISS and understanding her mother’s legacy. She felt closer to her than ever before, but somehow she also felt like she wasn't.
She had gotten expelled.
And even though she tried to explain the situation, that her roommate had started a live stream of her sleeping, apparently that still didn't “justify” her actions. She felt like it was hopeless and her adventure was over just as quickly as it started. She was glad that she went though, she now has an amazing friend like Q. She was sure that he would make sure to stay in touch whether or not she was at KISS. That made her smile.
She wasn't sure what to do about this love triangle? A Square?...Maybe even a hexagon? She wasn't even sure at this point.
She knew that Dae would always be her first love. And now after giving it some thought she knew that she was probably Bi...But even though she liked Yuri….she didn't want to come between her and Juliana. They had been apart for long enough, and she wasn't comfortable being a homewrecker.
And then there was Min-ho…. with his posh British accent, witty comebacks, sarcastic remarks, amazing style and she would have to admit (though not to him XD) amazing skincare
“Kitty I need to tell you something”
“Kitty I think I fell in love with you”
“A lil bit….or a lot”
She didn't even know what to say…he said he loved her…not that he cared for her or liked her…but that he loved her…..
She was used to sarcastic Min-ho, a joking Min-ho…but he looked so sincere that she knew he wasn't kidding….she had never seen him like that
*Time jump*
“Babe, where are you?”
“Turn around”
Kitty who was on the phone turns to look behind her
Standing right beyond her is her boyfriend who looks handsome as ever. He always looks so perfectly put together she marveled right before jumping into his arms
“So excited to see me, did you miss me?” he says with a small smirk, knowing all well how much she missed him.
“Of course I did…What did you expect Min-ho?” she says while looking up at him
He sighs, and then says, “Ok well then I guess I can't just leave my kitten all alone. No more business trips for a while, how’s that sound, Covey?”
“It sounds perfect” she smiles and he chuckles
“Okay, come on let’s get to dinner….or have you already forgotten about our date?” he says slyly
When they head inside, Kitty looks around and realizes that the entire restaurant is empty.
What’s going on…. She walks in further to go to their table
Suddenly the lights dim, and she sees flowers…everywhere. There are candles, somewhere in her mind she knows what’s happening but isn't quite sure yet It can't be….
She turns around to look at her boyfriend, and for the second time today, she has no words.
There he is down on one knee, with a ring in his hand
“Kitty, I think I fell in love with you. A lil bit...or a lot. When I said those words to you I wasn't sure how you would react. But I’m so grateful to have you by my side every day. I never knew I was ready for commitment till I met you, a matchmaking hopeless romantic. I love laughing with you and making sarcastic comments. I love it when you steal my skincare. And I love it when you ask me to make you your night night tea….I want this to last us a lifetime. So what say Covey? Will you -”
“YES!”
“Yes, of course” she says with tears streaming down her face
She knew he would always be hers, she knew it the same way that LJ and Peter were made for each other and so were her dad and Tree. Min-ho would always be her person. The one who made home feel like home. And when things would get rough she knew he would help her. Just like he did when her skirt caught on fire and he was the only one who came to help her. He even sacrificed one of his favourite jackets just to put out the fire. In the same way that he knew how much she hated mayo…he just knew her for exactly who she was and loved her
