Summary
In a happier time and place where no one lost their mother neither to the birthing bed nor later sickness. Alicent and Larys, still young and hopeful of the world, manage to find one another and against all odds get themselves betrothed. But as their fathers, while not fond of one another, do know one another well due to years of working together. Their mothers on the other hand have never met one another before the moment their children's wedding is to take place. And the two women are unfortunately as different as two people can be, hopefully, non of their family's inability to get along will hinder their hard-won engagement, right?
