Chapter Text
All the members sat on the floor of their practice room. They were all just waiting for the clock to strike 8pm. So that they all can go home and get ready for their break. "Alright! Vacation day starts tomorrow. What do you guys have planned?" Joshua asked his members. "Oh! Coups and I are going to Jeju together." Jeonghan said. Seungcheol smirked. Joshua nodded. Then he looked at Jun and said "What about you?" Jun smiled, picked up Minghao's hand and said "8 and I are going home to visit our families." Minghao smiled, put his hand back down and said "Yeah. Our families are going to Shanghai together. So Jun and I are going to meet up with them there."
"Awwww. That sounds nice." Seungkwan said. Then he turned to Joshua and said "Dino, Vernon and I are staying here, but we're going to try and do something each of us want to do everyday." Vernon smiled and said "Yep, and for the first day we're going to Lotto World." Dino giggled and said "Yep. They let me pick something to do first. So I said let's go to Lotto World." All the members giggled at how cute Dino was being.
Wonwoo then said "Mingyu, Hoshi, Woozi and I are going to Paris for fashion week." "Yep! And then we're going to Universal Studios in Florida." Hoshi said. Dokyeom laughed and said "It sounds like our entire group will be doing stuff all over the planet." Woozi then said "What about you two? What are you and Joshua going to be doing?" Dokyeom smiled and said "Well, I'm thinking about going to Japan. Like maybe to Super Nintendo World or something." "Cool." Mingyu said. Everyone then turned to Joshua. "What about you Shua?" Seungcheol asked.
"Oh, um....." Joshua started to say but then Dino's phone rang. Dino picked up his phone, turned his alarm off and said "Sorry about that. That was my alarm. It's 8pm by the way. We can go now." Everyone cheered and then stood up. They all gave each other hugs, and said their goodbyes. Everyone eventually left the practice, leaving DK and Joshua alone.
DK looked over at Joshua. He could tell that something was up with him. So he walked over to him and said "Hey Shua. What's wrong?" Joshua looked up nervously at DK and said "What do you mean?" DK held Joshua's hand and said "Nothing. I just feel like something is wrong, and if it is....you know you can tell me about it right? Heck! You can tell tell any of us, and all will......." Joshua smiled. Then he cut DK off and said "Nothing is wrong. I promise." DK smiled and said "Okay."
DK then walked towards the door, and he was going to walk out but decided to stop and ask Joshua one more question. "Hey. You never got the chance to answer the question. What are you doing for the break?" Joshua sighed and said "Honestly.....nothing. Everyone else seems to have some idea of what they want to do, but I........" DK smiled softly at Joshua and said "Well.....if you want, you could join me. As you can see, I'm kind of going to be alone for our break." Joshua giggled and said "Yeah."
DK held out his hand and said "So.....would you like to join me and head to Japan for our break?" Joshua smiled, walked towards DK, grabbed his hand and said "I'd love too. Thanks Kyeomie." DK smiled and said "You're welcome." Joshua reached over, flipped the light switch to turn off the lights, and then closed the door. Then they walked down the hallway, hand and hand, and headed home to get ready for their trip.
***5 minutes Later***
When they got outside, all the members saw DK and Joshua walk outside together. Still holding hands. "Awww. Look at you two." Jeonghan said. Joshua let go of DK's hand and chuckled. Mingyu then said "Hey Shua. You never got the chance to tell us what you were doing for the break." Joshua smiled and said "Well, at first I didn't have any plans, but then after talking to Kyeomie. Well......" Hoshi then said "So, you're going with DK to Japan?" DK smiled and said "Yep!"
Everyone smiled. Joshua then said "Wait, why are you guys still here? I thought you guys would have left by now." Wonwoo chuckled and said "We were about to leave, but-" "But then we realized that you didn't tell us what you were doing for the break." Vernon said. Dino chuckled and said "Yeah. Thanks to my alarm going off." Seungcheol then said "And I'm glad we all did decide to stay." Jun then said "Yeah. Because if we didn't, we would have never known that you didn't have any plans." Minghao then said "And we would have never known that you decided to join DK and go to Japan with him." "And we would have never gotten the chance to see you two holding hands and acting all cute and stuff." Seungkwan said. DK and Joshua giggled at each other.
"Alright. Let's go guys. For real this time." Mingyu said. Everyone said 'Yeah.' and then left. Leaving DK and Joshua alone, again. "Alright. Our flight leaves tomorrow at noon. So I guess I'll see you then." DK said. Joshua was confused "Wait....I didn't even pay for my ticket yet." DK chuckled and said "Yeah well, I kind of already paid for our tickets." Joshua was still confused. DK smiled to himself. He could tell that Joshua was still confused. "You see, I was actually planning on asking you to join me anyway, but I was scared. And even though I was scared, I told myself that I would pay for the tickets and then ask you to join me. I'm crazy. I know." DK said. Joshua smiled and said "Yeah. You're very crazy. Cute, but crazy." DK giggled.
Then he said "Well. I'm just glad that you actually decided to come because if you would've said 'No' then I would've had to try to convince you to join me. Especially since I already brought us tickets." Joshua giggled. Then he gave DK a hug and said "Thanks again Kyeomie." DK hugged Joshua back and said "Thank you for actually agreeing to come with me." Joshua smiled. Then they stopped hugged and looked at each other. Joshua then playfully messed up DK's hair and said "See you tomorrow Kyeomie." DK smiled, and said "See you tomorrow Shua."
***TIME SKIP***
{At DK's Apartment}
DK had just finished packing. So now he is laying on his bed, about to go to sleep. "He said I'm cute." DK said to himself. Then he started smiling. "Maybe I should finally ask him out. Should I ask him out? How do I ask him out?" DK kept on asking himself questions. He turned over to his side and decided to text Joshua.
"Let me see.....what should I say?" DK said. Then he started typing. "Hey Shua. It's Kyeomie. I'm not sure how to tell you this but, I like you. Like.... like ,like you. Maybe the correct phrase is, I'm in love with you. I've actually had a crush on you for years now. I just didn't know how to tell you. And......" DK kept dosing off to sleep. He woke up and said "Maybe I could tell him this another time." DK pressed a button and then turned off his phone. Then he ended up falling asleep completely, and because he was so tired, he didn't even notice that he actually hit the send button instead of the delete button.
{At Joshua's Apartment}
Joshua was just about to go to bed, but then he heard an alert come to his phone. He saw that it was a message from DK, and smiled. Then he unlocked his phone and read DK's message.
