Synopsis: CEO Hyunjin loses Felix as a secretary, based on the plot from k-drama, 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim'.

Third Person POV

Once upon a time in the bustling city of Seoul, there was a highly successful CEO named Hwang Hyunjin. He was a charismatic and dedicated leader, known for his sharp business acumen and his knack for turning companies into industry giants. At the helm of his latest venture, Hwang Industries, Hyunjin's days were filled with back-to-back meetings, important decisions, and a relentless pursuit of success.

Assisting him through it all was his loyal and efficient secretary, Lee Felix. Felix was a diligent and capable secretary who had been with Hyunjin since the early days of his career. He was organized, reliable, and seemed to have an uncanny ability to anticipate Hyunjin's every need. However, unbeknownst to Hyunjin, Felix had harbored a secret crush on him for quite some time.

Over the years, Felix had kept his feelings hidden, knowing that crossing professional boundaries would be unwise. He cherished his position, working side by side with the man he admired so deeply. But as time passed, the weight of unrequited love grew heavier, and Felix knew he had to make a difficult decision for his own well-being.

One morning, as the sun began to rise over the city, Secretary Lee arrived at Mr. Hwang's residence. He punched in the code and entered the extravagantly large home. For the next half-hour, he meticulously picked out clothes for Mr. Hwang and laid them out. After waking him up, Felix headed downstairs to prepare Hyunjin's coffee.

As Hyunjin got dressed, he made his way to the kitchen where Felix was waiting. Noticing his struggle with his tie, Felix smiled and offered assistance. "Allow me, Mr. Hwang," he said softly, reaching out with delicate hands to adjust the length and fix the tie properly.

"Thank you, Secretary Lee. How do I look?" Hyunjin asked, straightening his posture.

"Amazing as always, Mr. Hwang," Felix replied, his smile hiding the deeper thoughts running through his mind. He had always found his boss extremely handsome and admired him in ways he couldn't express.

Later that evening, at a social gathering, Felix stood beside Hyunjin, skillfully conversing with businessmen in various languages on his boss's behalf. Suddenly, a woman with long black hair and an expensive diamond necklace approached them.

"Oppa!" she squealed, clinging to Hyunjin's arm. "You didn't tell me you'd be coming today."

Hyunjin gave a polite smile and tried to avoid her gaze. Unbeknownst to her, Felix discreetly ran his finger across his neck, signaling to Hyunjin that he had bought the necklace as her gift.

"I'm glad you like it," Hyunjin replied, offering a small smile and silently thanking Secretary Lee for his assistance.

"Did you bring any gifts today? You know I like flowers, right, oppa!" she exclaimed.

Felix grimaced, knowing he was severely allergic to all types of flowers. Without hesitation, he rushed to the nearest flower shop and returned with the largest bouquet he could find, nearly breaking his shoe heel in the process.

Tears welled up in his eyes from his allergies as he watched the woman jump with joy at the flowers. His heart broke slowly with each interaction between her and Hyunjin.

Later that night, as the two sat together in a limousine, a comfortable silence enveloped them. Hyunjin remained unaware of the thoughts brewing inside his secretary's head.

"Secretary Lee, good job today. If there's anything you want, just tell me," Hyunjin said, his focus on his work tablet. "You need to be properly compensated for your hard work."

"Sir—"

"I won't take no for an answer," he replied, still focusing on his tablet.

"That's not it. I have something to tell you," Felix began.

"Don't confess your love. Our relationship is strictly business," Hyunjin replied, waving his index finger in a scolding manner.

Felix's shoulders slumped as he looked away for a second before refocusing his attention on Hyunjin.

"I don't plan to," Felix chuckled nervously. "I wanted to say that I think you'll need to find a new secretary... I plan to resign," he spoke, causing Hyunjin to freeze in place.

Hyunjin slowly looked up from his tablet, turning his head to make eye contact with Felix.

Over the following weeks, Felix trained his successor, a young and talented individual named Seungmin, to ensure a seamless transition. While emotions ran high, the two men formed a strong bond and shared countless tips and tricks to navigate the complexities of working with Hyunjin.

Meanwhile, as the days passed, Hyunjin found himself missing Felix's presence more and more. The office felt incomplete without him, and he realized that Felix's departure had left a void that no one else could fill. The admiration he once had for him began to intertwine with newfound feelings.

One evening, unable to ignore his growing emotions, Hyunjin made a decision. He called Felix and asked to meet outside of the professional setting, wanting to discuss their future. As they sat in a cozy café, sipping their drinks, Hyunjin spoke from his heart.

"Felix, these past weeks have been challenging for me. I've realized just how much you mean to me, not just as a secretary but as a friend. I've come to terms with my personal feelings, and I'd like to propose an offer." Hyunjin sipped on his coffee as he stared out the window.

"Go ahead Mr. Hwang." Felix waited patiently for his boss to continue.

"You stated you wanted to quit to live your own life and I understand. So I'd like for us to start dating." Hyunjin finally looked Felix in the eye who instantly avoided eye contact.

His widened with surprise and a hint of hope flickered in his gaze. Felix had never expected Hyunjin to make such an absurd proposal.

"Mr. Hwang, I don't know what to say," Felix whispered, his voice filled with a mix of joy and uncertainty.

"I understand if you need time to process this," Hyunjin replied, reaching out to gently hold his hand. "I just couldn't let my feelings go unspoken any longer. You've been there for me through thick and thin, and I can't imagine my life without you."

Touched by his words, Felix felt a rush of emotions coursing through him. He had dreamt of this moment for so long, and now it was becoming a reality. His heart swelled with affection for Hyunjin, and he realized that taking a chance on love was worth the risk.

"Okay but there's something I must confess." Felix slight bit his lip.

"Please continue." Hyunjin gestured.

"I like you Mr. Hwang, and I have for a very long time. However, I cannot see myself by your side as both your secretary and your lover, so if your new found feelings for me are only so I won't resign then I'm sorry but I can't accept your confession." Felix explained.

Hyunjin's face softened as he listened attentively to Felix's confession. He reached out to cup Felix's cheek gently, his thumb brushing against his skin.

"Felix, I understand your concerns, and I want you to know that my feelings are genuine," Hyunjin said sincerely. "Yes, the thought of losing you as my secretary played a part in my realization, but it was not the sole reason for my confession. I've grown to care for you deeply, both personally and professionally."

Felix's eyes searched Hyunjin's for any signs of deception, but all he found was honesty and vulnerability. A mix of emotions swirled within him — the fear of crossing boundaries, the desire to explore a romantic relationship, and the hope for a future together.

Taking a deep breath, Felix mustered his courage. "If we pursue this, we need to establish clear boundaries between our personal and professional lives. Our relationship cannot compromise the success of the company or our professionalism."

Hyunjin nodded, understanding the importance of maintaining a balance. "I agree, Felix. Our work and our personal lives must remain separate. We will navigate this with caution and respect for one another."

In that moment, the air crackled with a magnetic pull that neither of them could resist. Slowly, Hyunjin  closed the distance between them, his hand gently cradling Felix's cheek. Their breaths mingled, anticipation filling the space between them.

With a mixture of hesitancy and longing, Felix leaned in, his lips hovering just a breath away from Hyunjin's. The world seemed to stand still as their hearts beat in perfect synchrony.

Then, as if giving in to the inevitable, their lips met in a tender, electrifying kiss. It was a gentle exploration at first, a soft and delicate connection that conveyed the depth of their emotions. The weight of unspoken desires found solace in that single touch.

As the kiss deepened, their bodies pressed closer, aching for the warmth and closeness that only each other could provide. Their embrace was filled with a passion that had been building for far too long, the culmination of years of unrequited love and silent yearning.

Time seemed to blur as they lost themselves in the intoxicating dance of their mouths, the world around them fading into insignificance. In that moment, there was only the sensation of their lips moving in perfect harmony, a symphony of desire and love.

When they finally broke apart, their breaths mingling with shared warmth, their eyes met, a silent understanding passing between them. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, a promise of a love that transcended the boundaries of their professional lives.

As the CEO and his secretary-turned-lover, they knew they would face challenges and obstacles on their journey. But in that stolen moment of passion, they found solace, reassurance that their connection was worth every risk.

With their mutual understanding, they embarked on a journey of love and companionship, venturing into uncharted territory. They took cautious steps, ensuring that their work dynamics remained intact while exploring the depths of their affection in their personal lives.

As the weeks passed, Felix continued to support Hyunjin's professional endeavors while also cherishing the moments they shared outside the office. They discovered new dimensions to their relationship, learning more about each other's hopes, dreams, and vulnerabilities.

Their colleagues eventually noticed the change in dynamics, but Felix and Hyunjin remained discreet, never allowing their personal lives to overshadow their professional responsibilities. They were determined to prove that love and work could coexist harmoniously.

Over time, Felix's successor, Seungmin, became an invaluable asset to the company, just as Felix had been. Hyunjin acknowledged Seungmin's talents and dedication, and the three of them formed a strong professional alliance.
