In the present...
Ava and Beatrice had gone out for their date night, because despite being married for 5 years they were still in the habit of going out for dinner or a walk. So tonight, they opted to go to a hill that only they knew about for reasons like:
1 To have the best view of the star.
2 To have privacy.
There no one could interrupt their evening. They were lying on a blanket and on one side was a basket of food that Ava prepared for their date night, Ava had her head laying on Beatrice's chest and Beatrice had her arms around Ava, with her chin on Ava's head, they were looking at the stars and enjoying their evening. Until Ava interrupted the comfortable silence.
"Bea, I have something to tell you and don't freak out, okay?" Ava said to her wife.
"Hey, what's up honey? You know you can tell me anything." said Beatriz cradling Ava's cheek with her right hand.
"I'm pregnant." Said Ava pausing briefly and stepping out of his wife's arms, to sit next to her.
Years before...
After Beatrice let Ava in the doorway, she started to live the life that Ava had told her to live, she left the OCS and went back to her apartment in Switzerland, she went back to her job at the bar with Hans, although there was contact with her sisters and her superion mother.
After 3 months Lilith appeared at her front door with her head and eyes looking down (like a child who has disobeyed and awaits her punishment), when she finally got her courage she said....
"I'm sorry, for everything Beatrice, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry." She collapsed at the door with her hands on her face and sobbing in despair, Beatrice picked her up and gave her a hug, she said when she stopped crying. "I forgive you Lilith, you are my sister, that never changed and will never change".
Months passed until 7 months had passed, on month number 8 the portal opened and Ava returned. As soon as Beatrice received the news she flew to Spain to meet Ava.
When Beatrice arrived at OCS and walked through the front door she could see Ava on her knees next to some children on the training track, laughing and playing, her heart began to pound harder than normal.
Apparently, Ava noticed her presence, as she entered the training track she turned to look at Beatrice, her face went from smiling to surprise and from surprise to a wide grin, she ran towards a surprised Beatrice, but Beatrice was pulled out of her trance with a tight hug from Ava, she almost fell to the ground if it wasn't for Beatrice and her combat training, apparently, she still hasn't lost the habit.
After that warm embrace, Ava met Beatrice's eyes along with a smile, Ava slid her arms around Beatrice's neck, stood on her tiptoes and gave her a quiet kiss with the intention of expressing her feelings.
When the kiss was over they brought their foreheads together and Ava said to her. "gee, you don't know how much I've missed you, Bea."
"You confirmed it for me with that Kiss, Ava" Beatrice added laughing.
The months passed and the threat of a holy war was imminent, they gathered all the team: Lilith, Camila, Yasmin, Mother superion, Beatrice and Mary (I forgot to say that Mary is alive, how clumsy of the author not to give that important point, an apology, after 2 days of letting Ava enter the portal it lit up again and they thought it was Ava, what they didn't expect was that Mary came out of it).
Don't ask me how it happened because I don't know, the thing is that Mary is alive, I want your theories in the comments, maybe they make more sense than mine 😓.
Back to the holy war topic , Ava gave all the information that Reya got her and they formed a plan, this time they would wipe out all their enemies.
But the biggest and most important surprise during those months was when on a date night, Beatrice proposed to Ava. It was a somewhat unusual night, Beatrice was a warrior nun and was trained to be aware of even the smallest detail, prepare before a fight, make sure her team is ready to attack, she never lost sight of anything and in case the plan failed she always had a plan B, however, tonight was not like that, as she had no plan against the night's weather, the weather girl said it would be a clear night, however, fate did not want that.
The night started well, a garden full of lights, a pool on one side covered with lights that made the water look crystal clear and in the center of the garden a table with candles in the center, plates and cutlery around the candles, everything beautiful, the hours passed, dinner was a success, they danced a little a quiet song after dinner and everything was going well until ....
*sound of lightning*
The first raindrops began to fall and without realizing it, the rain was torrential, Beatrice helped Ava to stand up and they went to a little house of the place, they were all soaked with rain, Ava let out a laugh and Beatrice gave her a look as if saying "what's wrong?", apparently Ava understood and said to Beatrice....
"Excellent evening, Bea. Seriously, that was fun, dinner, dancing and running in the rain, it's like those romantic movies I used to watch at the orphanage, but with a Bonus... you." Ava said and Beatrice blushed at that compliment, she thought somehow the night would be ruined, but Ava saw it differently, just as she always tends to see situations, she manages to bring out the good even in the worst circumstance.
"Well I'm glad you loved it, Ava, because it's not over yet, I have one more surprise for you and that requires you to put this piece of cloth around your eyes" Beatrice said.
"What fabric?" said Ava.
"This one" said Beatrice pulling out of her pants pocket a piece of black colored cloth, Ava nodded, turned her back to her, pulled her hair back loosely and allowed Bea to put the piece of cloth around her eyes. Then Bea helped her to sit on a couch and quickly pulled out of her other pocket a blue colored box, knelt down in front of Ava, who now had a big smile on her face and said....
"Now, Ava, my love. You may remove the cloth from your eyes," said Beatrice.
When Ava removed the piece of cloth she could see Beatrice on her knees in front of her and noticed what Beatrice had spread out in her hand in front of her, the smile on her face faded and was replaced by raised eyebrows and lips half-opened in shock.
"Ava, I know it was hard for us to get here, even though it hasn't been long since we officially formalized our relationship, I know this started a long time ago before we even realized it, those domestic mornings, the coffee, the talks in the evenings and more that we shared in our apartment in Switzerland and that we still share here, I want to wake up every day by your side, make you breakfast and start a family by your side, if that is your wish too, in short. ...ufff...here we go...Ava Silva.... Would you like to marry me, let me wake up next to you every day, share a couple of rings until we are of age and have grandchildren?"
"Yes, definitely yes." Said Ava reaching out her hand to Beatrice to put the engagement ring on, when at last the ring was on Ava's finger, she pulled Beatrice close to give her a sweet kiss on the lips, it started out quiet, but due to the excitement of the situation things got heated and well, one thing led to another, so they set out to give the honeymoon a head start.
That same evening in the garden cottage , after the "honeymoon" sat a cozy silence, but as usual Ava broke the silence.
"Have you ever dreamed of a family?" Ava said to her fiancée.
"To be honest no, I mean, it's not that I didn't like the idea, it's just that I had no one to share that dream with, so I left it hidden in a trunk and since that I hadn't considered it, but as usual you have unearthed that dream." Beatrice said nuzzling her nose with Ava's and eliciting a giggle from her fiancée.
"What's with that question? " said Beatrice.
"Nothing, just curious, we have talked about many topics about our future, however, that topic has not surfaced." Said Ava looking at Beatrice and laying her head on her fiancée's chest.
"You... want to?" Beatrice said to Ava, after a few minutes.
"Yes, but maybe not now, first we win this war, second I want us to get married as soon as possible, third get a bigger apartment and after all that, we talk about a baby." Ava said, adding a smile at the last statement.
"Yeah, I think so too." Bea said
"Oh shoot, wait till the others hear about it." Beatrice said, pointing to Ava's finger where the engagement ring was.
"I think they'll be happy...especially Camila" Ava said.
"Now... Where were we?" said Ava with a mischievous look.
"We were talking about Camilla, who would be happy about the engagement...". Ava didn't let Beatrice finish the sentence with a kiss, which then, one thing led to another and well, definitely the honeymoon came early.
