At the time of the fall of Troy, a prophecy regarding the God of the Sun and Lord of the Underworld was announced. It was in the middle of a council meeting in Ancient Greece when the Fates themselves announced the prophecy tying the two god's fate with the half-blood daughter of Poseidon. In simple words, the half-blood daughter born to Poseidon is going to be the soulmate of Hades and Phoebus Apollon. Hades the god, who was cursed to spend eternity after the goddess of spring he fell for, left him. And Apollo, a god cursed to always fall in love but that end in a tragedy.
While Poseidon had some daughters, they were only Godly. So, hearing about Poseidon siring a half-blood daughter was a surprise for all the deities on Olympus. Hades and Apollo along with the residents of Olympus waited for the birth of Poseidon's daughter, but that never came. Poseidon only sired sons, and then came the pact where the Big Three swore to not sire any more children. And just like that Hades and Apollo almost lost the thought of the woman who would complete them. Almost.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Poseidon did sire a daughter, long before he sired Perseus Jackson. In the fall of 1981, Poseidon met a beautiful middle-aged mortal, Maria and her handsome husband Howard. After he left his new pair of lovers, Maria found out that she was pregnant with a child.
While Poseidon would have eventually found out, the Fates meddled, hiding the yet-to-be-born demigoddess from the eyes of Gods and creatures alike. As Maria Stark nee Carbonell's daughter was supposed to have another destiny which was far away from the Greek World.
Soon, in the month of May 1982, Maria gave birth to her daughter. A daughter named Antoniette Elladora Stark, a hero who would go to save the world.
Or, the fates decided to meddle again, by showing the life to the family of Toni Stark and the Gods.
