Nezha was taking longer than usual to get out of bed today. Why you may ask? Because he could tell today wasn't gonna be good from how his body slightly ached.
Nezha has gotten many terrible injuries in the past, and he keeps getting more, and it has been taking a toll on his body and making it harder for him to function on bad days.
She finally gets up out of bed and prepares for the day, and before he leaves the house, his little cat greets him. She crouches down to pet the cat, his legs ache more as he does so.
He stands back up with a slight groan and heads out to go train with the celestial guard people (idk what their called). Once he gets there, he is greeted by whoever is in there at the time, and begins training.
As he trains, the pain gets worse, but he pushes through it because all this is is the consequences of him being weak, or atleast that's how he sees it. A few people notice, but most think nothing of it as this has happened a few times. But one person comes over to see if he's ok.
"Are you alright? You look like your in pain." The young guard asks. "I am alright, please do not distract me while I'm training." Nezha continues his training, neither of them saying another word as the guard walks away with slight worry on their face.
Nezha feels a sudden, sharp pain in his chest and falls to his knees. A few people notice and rush over to see if he's alright. She pushes them all away and gets back up. "I'm alright, just give me a moment." And he quickly goes back home, which isn't very far away.
As soon as he steps foot inside he collapses, wrapping his arms around his torso and curling into a ball. "Damnit." He whispers to himself. His cat seemed to have heard her come in and runs over meowing. The cat gives him a concerned look and then curls up in the space between Nezha's legs and torso, purring to try and give his boy some sort of comfort.
Nezha breathes heavily and a shaky hand goes to pet the fluffy fur of his cat. He gives a soft smile that is mixed with the pain he still feels. She knows the car isn't helping much, but appreciates the effort and comfort.
Nezha lays with his cat in the middle of the floor for around half an hour untill he hears a knock on his door. She cannot answer it, still in too much pain to get up. The cat gets up and scratches at the door in a sad attempt to open it.
Whoever was there opens the door and it hits Nezha's foot. The person walks in and kneels down next to Nezha. "Oh my gosh are you ok?" It was the same person that asked if he was ok earlier. They had been kind enough to come check on him after he had been gone for too long.
"As much as I'd hate to admit...I don't think so..." Nezha leans his head into the floor a little and closes his eyes for a second. "Is there anything I could do to help?" The person asks, still a little panicked.
"Unfortunately, there isn't much you could do, this is simply the result of my carelessness. If you could take me to my bed that would be appreciated though." Nezha rolls over and instantly regrets it as he feels another sting of pain. The kind person quickly scoops him up and takes him to his room, placing her on the bed.
"There you go, anything else you might need? I can get you water or-" they are cut off by Nezha. "I don't need anything else, thank you for the help you can leave now. I'm sure you have other things to do." Nezha raises a shaky hand and waves in the direction of the door in a please leave kind of way.
The person sighs and walks out the door, looking back at Nezha who is now turned to face his wall before closing the door.
Nezha quickly falls asleep after the person leaves, finally being able to rest comfortably. Her cat jumps up on the bed and returns to its spot by Nezha's arms and the two sleep for the rest of the day.
