Disobeying Gepard's orders had brought you trouble... You had to act as a night guard for the criminal Sampo Koski. You stood outside the cell, trying to maintain composure.
"Miss Guard," spoke the blue-haired man behind the bars. You looked over your shoulder, meeting his piercing green eyes. You shivered at the sound of his deep voice. You turned to face him, summoning courage.
"I'm not interested in any of your proposals, Mr. Koski. I will limit myself to fulfilling my duty."
The man let out a mocking laugh and approached the bars. He was very attractive, but also very dangerous. You had to stay strong.
"Come on, don't be boring. I just want to chat and make the night more enjoyable. Unless you're afraid of a mere mortal like me."
You frowned at his provocation. You wouldn't give him the satisfaction of showing fear.
"I'm not afraid. You can talk if you wish, but I don't expect you to entertain your perversions."
"What a character. Fine, let's have a casual conversation then. Tell me about yourself, beautiful guard. Do you have a name?"
You cursed yourself for giving in. You should have continued ignoring him. But it was too late now, you couldn't go back.
"Just call me Guard. And I warn you that I won't answer anything personal."
The man smiled, pleased. He had achieved his goal of involving you in his game. He had you at his mercy for the next twelve hours.
"Very well, Guard it is," he purred with satisfaction. "Let's talk about something else then... tell me, what do you think of the justice system? Do you believe that everyone here is guilty?"
You sighed in frustration. You should have anticipated that he would try to manipulate you. "Mr. Koski, my job is to guard you, not engage in philosophical discussions with you. If you want to talk about something productive, go ahead. Otherwise, allow me to do my job in silence."
He chuckled. "Well, I didn't expect anything less from you. Alright, let's talk about your job then... How much do they pay you to guard scum like me? Is it enough to risk your life?"
"My pay is irrelevant. I do my job out of vocation, not for money," you responded curtly.
He leaned closer to the bars, his green eyes fixed on you. "A noble vocation, though somewhat naive in my opinion. There are criminals in this world who wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of someone like you... someone brave and beautiful."
You averted your gaze, feeling uncomfortable. He had a way of looking at you that disarmed you. You needed to create more distance between you.
"Thank you for the compliment, but I can defend myself well. And I am aware of the dangers of my job, Mr. Koski," your tone turned stern. "So I ask you not to underestimate me. You can continue talking, but keep your distance."
You wouldn't allow him to intimidate you, even if you had to fight against yourself to maintain composure. It was going to be a very long night.
The tension in the cell was palpable as the dangerous criminal, Sampo Koski, continued his game of provocation and seduction. Although you tried to maintain composure and show strength, your emotions and defenses were starting to crumble in his presence. You knew you were in serious trouble, but there was no turning back.
You tried to regain control of the situation and remind yourself of your duty as a night guard. Your job was to keep this man locked up and protect others from his danger. You couldn't allow his words
and his attractiveness to distract you from that objective.
With a trembling yet determined voice, you addressed him, "Mr. Koski, I must remind you that I am here to fulfill my duty, not to fall into your games. Keep your distance and remain silent. Any attempt to cross the line will be reported immediately."
Koski let out a mocking laugh and leaned back, but he never stopped staring intensely at you. "Oh, Guard, you're so brave and determined. I love that spark in your eyes. But don't worry, I have no intention of crossing any lines. At least, not for now..."
You swallowed hard, trying to ignore the shiver that ran down your spine. You had to maintain control of the situation. "You better understand this clearly, Mr. Koski. No matter how much you try to intimidate or seduce me, I won't give in to your games. I am here to ensure your safety and that of others, and that's all that matters."
The criminal smiled sinisterly, savoring the challenge. "Oh, Guard, you have no idea how exciting the night can be if you allow yourself to enjoy it a little. But as you wish, I'll play by your rules... for now."
You knew his words held a veiled threat, but you also understood that you couldn't show any weakness. You had to maintain composure and move forward with your duty. The night would be long and dangerous, but you were determined to face any challenge that came your way.
You took a deep breath and reminded yourself that you were a professional. No matter how attractive or dangerous Sampo Koski was, you were there to protect others and fulfill your duty. You wouldn't let his provocations weaken you.
The night slowly progressed as you tried to avoid any unnecessary conversation with the prisoner. Koski continued to silently observe you, like a predator stalking its prey. Every passing minute, you could feel his gaze on you, sending shivers down your spine. But you managed to stay strong in your decision not to succumb to his provocations.
As midnight approached, your shift was coming to an end. A wave of relief washed over you as you saw your colleagues approaching for the guard change. This torturous night was finally over.
You approached the cell to inform Koski that he would be transferred back to his usual cell. You found him standing, waiting for you. His green eyes glimmered with a dangerous gleam under the dim light.
"So, our time together has come to an end, Guard. It has been a delightful evening, thanks for your... hospitality."
You clenched your teeth, refusing to show any reaction. "It's time to return to your cell. Let's go."
He approached the bars in complete silence, never breaking eye contact, until he was just inches away from you. Your heart raced, but you remained motionless.
Leaning as close as he could between the bars, Koski whispered in your ear, "Don't forget this, beautiful Guard... the night always returns. And when it does, I will continue to enjoy your lovely company."
He stepped away from the bars, allowing the other guard to handcuff him and take him away. You watched him disappear down the hallway until they turned a corner, out of your sight.
You let out a sigh of tension and exhaustion. You had survived, fulfilled your duty, and faced one of the most dangerous men behind those walls. But the knowledge that you would encounter him again terrified and excited you in equal measure. Just as Sampo Koski had promised, this night was only the beginning. The battle had just begun.
