Work Text:
Casey opened his eyes, groaning as he rolled out of bed.
Damn they were tired.
“That’s what you get for pulling multiple all nighters” Casey grumbled, grabbing and putting on their gear.
His dad had a day shift at work that day, so he would be passed out all night, much to Caseys delight.
She carefully opened the window and climbed out, breathing in the cold night air.
Grinning, they quickly scrambled up onto the roof, foot slipping on a ridge, scraping up their chin In the process.
“Shit!” Casey winced hissing in pain, clutching her chin.
There was a bit of blood, thankfully not much.
Casey looked at the smeared blood, the urge to lick it was very strong.
She shook her head, resisting the urge.
He settled on a nice flat area of the roof, wiping away any leaves before sitting down.
Now it was just time to wait.

Casey tapped his fingers rhythmically on the cold roof, sighing. Ten minutes had passed and there was still no sign of a certain scientifically minded mutant turtle.
There was a small thud behind Casey, and he spun around, their feet tapping excitedly.
“Dee!”
They grinned at the sight of their boyfriend, grabby hands ensuing immediately.
Donnie, having just arrived, giggled. “I know, I missed you too” he spoke, wrapping Casey in a quick hug.
Donnie paused and pulled back, grabbing Caseys face. Their eyes narrowed with concern at the blood on Caseys chin.
“Woah Dee” Casey smirked, “if ya wanted to kiss me so bad you coulda just asked.” She wiggled her eyebrows, making a kissy face.
Donnie stared at him, blushing, their eyes wide with bewilderment.
“What- Case-“ they paused, then deadpanned, huffing out an annoyed “Oh shut up moron.”
Casey laughed, pressing a quick kiss to Donnies snout. “Im fine Gappy, just scraped my chin on the way up.”
Donnie relaxed, sighing. “be more careful next time”, he chided, flicking Casey’s forehead.
Casey snorted, “I will.”
The vigilante looked back down at their bloody hand. Donnie frowned, “Casey Jones, if you lick that blood I swear to-"
“…”
“Dammit Jones.”
Needless to say, the impulsive thoughts won.
