“Shhhh! Be quiet! Come on, in here.” Chan held my hand as he crawled into a nook from one of the playground buildings. Sure enough it was out of sight, but would the guard really not check every bit of the playground? Chan placed himself on the thick shelf, more in a laying down position, while tapping his legs for me to join him. “Chan, are you sure? It’s so tight here.” He motioned once more for me to be quiet, holding his index finger to his lips. “Just hop on.” His voice was barely a whisper, but I was close enough to be able to hear him. And so I did as he instructed me to, with a little difficulty. As I tried to place my feet on either side of his hips, I tried my best to keep my white skirt from showing too much. I knew I shouldn’t have worn the shortest skirt I could find. Mentally making a note for the next time, I made myself smaller and took a sharp breath in. “Did you hear-“ Before I could even finish my whisper, I felt a soft touch to my lips. Chan’s eyes were wide with disbelief, shaking his head a little from side to side as if he couldn’t believe I was talking yet again. What I couldn’t believe was that I was inches away from his beautiful face, that I had adored for years now. From a distance, that is. I never had the guts to confess to him, afraid I would lose my friend. What else I couldn't believe was the fact that I was almost seated on his private part. Obviously, it wasn’t the most comfortable position to be in, but I didn’t want to give myself any hopes if I actually sat down on him. I was too scared of his reaction to it. For several minutes we listened to the sounds outside of the play building, hearing footsteps go this way, that way, then back this way. Just as I thought the guard had finished his round, after successfully avoiding him in this hiding spot, a flash light shone inside, merely inches missing the nook we were hiding on. I took another sharp inhale, about to yelp out of fright when I felt the pressure on my lips move. I had not realized his finger had lingered on my lips all this time, so caught up in staying quiet. He now had his whole hand softly caressing my mouth, pulling my face closer with his other hand placed softly on my nape. His eyes were telling me it was okay as long as I kept quiet and kept my focus on him. And so I remained quiet, gazing in his beautiful brown orbs. The flashlight had moved away, along with the footsteps that were now receding, further and further in the distance. He slowly released his hands and I released the breath that I was holding, dropping myself out of exhaustion and shaking legs from the awkward position. “Y/n…” Only to realize what I had just done, as his voice sounded strained and what seemed through gritted teeth. Quickly I got up again, getting flush red out of embarrassment, which luckily he couldn’t see due to the darkness. But it only made the situation worse as his hands shot up to my hips. “Y/n, please. Please stop moving.” Yes, he was definitely speaking with gritted teeth, almost growling in his throat so low. “I-I, I’m sorry! It’s just..” My legs felt like jelly after the long amount of waiting and I couldn’t keep them in position anymore. He could feel my body get heavy and grunted softly. “Fine, just… sit down, don’t move.” Relief washed over my body as I was able to relax my legs and sit down normally a bit, knees now touching the shelf, leaning next to his chest. Any other day I would not believe it if someone told me I would be cradling Chan this way. Absolutely impossible. With the night that had settled in properly now, so came the cool air. I was not dressed for adventures in the night, my body started to feel cold to the touch and shivers ran down my spine, shaking my bones. I tried my best not to move, as he had told me to, but I couldn’t help it when a heavy shiver shook my whole body. Another groan escaped his mouth and I hoped to god I was feeling his phone in his pocket. “Y/n…” “I’m.. I’m sorry! I-“ His hands that had lingered on my hips to keep me still, had moved up towards my nape. He grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled me closer to his face, which already was mere inches. His lips crashed on my cold ones, igniting a wildfire in my gut instantly. This wasn’t happening. I must be dreaming. I’ll wake up any minute now, alarm blaring and my croggy face covered in a messy bed hair look. A soft sting on my bottom lip told me otherwise. I allowed Chan to take charge, as our tongues explored each other in unfamiliar terrain. God, he is as good a kisser as I had ever thought he would be. Slowly breaking off the kiss to catch our breath, I looked into his eyes. My sight now used to the darkness, I could see the outline of his beautiful chiseled face. “Are you warmer now?” Another flush of embarrassment rose up to my cheeks, I must look like a total tomato by now. I nodded slowly, hoping he would see it and layed my forehead against his, closing my eyes in the process, thinking of what just happened. “Is this real?” “What, you being ice cold to the touch? Or the part where we kissed?” He snickered, I could just hear it in his voice, which was surprisingly more at ease now.
