Your name is L/N Y/N, you are an only child but you were your parent's pride and joy, ever since you were born it seemed you affected people, everyone that was around you loved you, which is why your parents trained you in combat, you were an absolute beast. Many people gravitated towards you, but you considered the Kamado family like your own family, whenever you weren't training you were always with the Kamado's, recently your parents had died, so the Kamado's took you in. Nezuko had just been born and then Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, and Rokuta you had joined their family and they accepted you with open arms.
It was the afternoon and you were in the room you shared with Nezuko, you were practicing your Shamisen, for your 13 birthday everyone saved up as much money as they could to buy you one, you became obsessed with the instrument ever since a street performer passed through your small village, they had even taught you the basics since then you were hooked. Hearing the door open you looked up and saw Tanjiro, giving him a soft smile you stopped playing 'Are you heading into town?' you asked when you were learning Japanese it was a pain, you see you were a foreigner from Russia, your parents brought you to Japan when you were 10 years old, 4 years older than Tanjiro 'Yes, I wanted to tell you before I left' Tanjiro answered 'Are you sure, it's already the afternoon and it's very snowy today' You said with clear worry in your voice 'I'll be fine. I promise I want to make sure we have a big new year's feast!' Tanjiro tried to reassure you with excitement for the New Year and then he left for town.
It was night when it happened you sat down saying a prayer with everyone before you all ate. The front door had slammed open and there saw blood everywhere Nezuko was still alive you could feel it, looking forward you saw a man reach his hand out for her, with newfound strength you ran to the man and was able to punch him right in the face, making him fly back but he quickly caught himself. You protectively stood in front of Nezuko, you had a large gash across your torso but you still stood tall 'Get away from my sister!' you yelled furious at this man hurting your family 'You are quite strong you made me bleed from just a punch. You will be a powerful demon' the man said then suddenly he vanished, No Behind! You turned and tried to dodge but he grabbed your neck before you could do anything, and you felt immense pain then blacked out.
Nezuko had woken up and saw your body, she let out a scream and ran to your side, she let out a sigh of relief as you still had a pulse and was breathing, she quickly picked you up and began to run down the hill, maybe if she hurried and got you to town you would survive. Not far from the two was Tanjiro who could smell the approaching blood, and also began to run and he quickened his pace when he saw his sister carrying you while unconscious 'NEZUKO!! What happened?!' Tanjiro yelled getting her attention while she staggered, the pain of her injuries was weighing her down. Tanjiro grabbed you from his sister and put you on his back, but he suddenly lost his footing in the snow, Nezuko seeing this reached for you and Tanjiro but because of her blood loss fell down the cliff with you two instead. Tanjiro’s eyes were wide he looked to his side to see his sister unconscious from blood loss, looking around he spotted you, he saw a large amount of blood on your body from a scratch that went from your right shoulder to your left hip, ‘Y/n, are you alright? You shouldn’t be up! Let me… carry you into town!’ Tanjiro yelled desperately running up to you ‘Y/N …’ you looked down at him, you had slit eyes like a cat and you were growling, you lunged at Tanjiro, he brought out he’s hatchet in time as you bit on the wood “A demon this is what old man Saburo said, was Y/N … A man-eating demon? No that was impossible Y/N has been human… since the day I met them. But this Y/N … smells of blood and death. But Y/N couldn’t have done all that. They don’t have any blood on their mouth or hands, and I can smell another sent” Tanjiro thought of this all as you suddenly grew into the size of an adult.
Tanjiro looked shocked as you grew in size and strength ‘Y/N… Hold on Y/N! Fight it fight for your life. I know your strong don’t turn into a demon! You can do it!’ Tanjiro yelled with tears streaming down his face ‘Y/N …’ Tanjiro stopped as he felt your tears land on his cheeks, he could smell sadness and guilt, you suddenly looked to the side to see a man with a sword. Tanjiro grabbed your neck and pushed you away from danger and his hair was cut off instead of your neck. Making you two roll from the momentum, the attacker stood tall ‘Why did you protect them?’ He asked ‘S-sibling they are my older sibling!’ Tanjiro yelled, you growled at the man trying to get out of Tanjiro’s hold ‘You call that thing your older sibling?’ The stranger asked while Tanjiro stayed silent, he began to run at the two, so Tanjiro leaned down trying to protect you, but you were no longer under him.
Tanjiro looked up in horror to see you being held as you thrashed around trying to escape ‘Hey! Let Y/N go! Let my sibling go!’ The two boys stopped at the new voice ‘Nezuko!’ Tanjiro yelled worried for his sister ‘Don’t move, killing demons is my job, so I’m going to decapitate your older sibling’ the guy explained, you struggled more and he was taken aback by your strength as he put more pressure on he’s grip ‘Wait Y/N hasn’t killed anyone yet!’ ‘Yeah, plus there was a man at our house who attacked us and Y/N protected me!’ Both siblings yelled in your defence ‘Not Y/N, I don’t know how this happened but it was that man!’ Nezuko yelled standing next to her brother. The man looked like a blank canvas ‘That's easy. Demon blood got inside your sibling so they turned into a demon. That is how man-eating demons multiply’ He said it so simple ‘Y/N would never eat anyone!’ Both siblings yelled ‘A moment ago they almost ate you’ he spoke pointing his sword at Tanjiro ’No, I’m sure they know who we are!’ Tanjiro yelled ‘I won’t let them hurt anyone. We’ll find a way to cure them we’ll make them human again!’ Tanjiro yelled while Nezuko nodded in agreement ‘They won’t get better. A human who becomes a demon cannot go back’ he was still struggling to hold the demon. How much blood did you get? ‘We’ll find a way! I swear! Please don’t kill them!’ Nezuko yelled in desperation ‘We’ll also find the man that killed our family we’ll do all that so’ Nezuko continued as the man brought his sword closer to your neck ‘STOP!!’ Tanjiro yelled cutting his sister off “We can’t lose Y/N too!” The siblings thought as they both bowed deeply ‘Please stop. Please don’t kill our older sibling! Please’ the both of them pleaded ‘Never leave yourself so DEFENSELESS in front of an enemy!’ The boy yelled clear hatred on his face. Both siblings were shocked ‘Stop bowing so pitifully. If that worked, your family would still be alive! How can weaklings like you, who bow down when it’s time to fight! To kill or be killed… how can such a person….…cure their older sibling? Or even find their enemy! If you want something… you must fight for it! The meek have no power and no options! The strong will crush them in every way! Demons might know how to cure your older sibling… but… No demon will respect your whining and begging! And for that matter, I don’t respect you two either! That’s reality! Before… why did you cover your sibling! Did you think that would protect them! Why didn’t you throw your hatchet? Why did you show me your back?! That’s how I was able to take them! I should have skewered you three!’ He yelled at the two and you wriggled around even more.
How could he say such harsh words to your little siblings, everything was quiet except for your growing, he lifted his sword after a moment and struck it through your shoulder as you screamed in pain ‘No!!’ Both siblings went into action both of them threw a rock at the guy, who easily deflected them. Nezuko grabbed another rock and threw it aiming for his head but he moved to the side, she then brought her left leg up and aimed for the head. Just liked you showed her, but he blocked it then brought the end of his handle down making her unconscious. Tanjiro ran for his hatchet and threw another rock with it also missing, he then ran forward screaming, once he got in striking distance, the guy also knocked him out like Nezuko. You stopped growling as you looked at Nezuko and Tanjiro, they are your little siblings, your only family, Protect Them, PROTECT THEM! You felt his hold on you slip, so you took the opportunity and got free, you kicked him far enough that he hit his back against a tree, quickly you ran to your siblings. PROTECT THEM, PROTECT THEM. You stopped right in front of them in a protective manner ‘L-LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!’ You had shouted as the man's shocked face somehow became more surprised. Taking advantage, you ran at him growling, you used your claws to scratch at him and you managed to injure him. You were tired and hungry but you were going to win, you can’t let him hurt them. But you felt a hand to the left side of your neck and became unconscious. Kie, Takeo Hanako, Shigeru, and Rokuta all sat around Tanjiro and Nezuko worried ‘I’m sorry to leave you behind, Tanjiro, Nezuko. Take care of (Y/N) for me, all right?’ Immediately Nezuko and Tanjiro woke up and clutched onto (Y/N) with tears ‘You're awake?’ The two looked up and saw the guy who had hurt you. Nezuko brought your body towards her in a hug as Tanjiro stood in front of the two of you ‘Go see an old man named Urokodaki Sakonji who lives at the foot of Mount Sagiri. Tell him that Tomioka Giyuu sent you. Your sibling should be fine because it's cloudy today… But don’t let them into direct sunlight. Your sister there is also injured so let her rest, and make sure to change her bandages frequently’ after that he was gone.
Tanjiro had carried you up to the house since Nezuko was injured, once they arrived you had woken up and got off Tanjiro ‘(Y/N), are you ok?’ ‘You're not hurt, are you?’ Both siblings asked you as you looked between the two, you brought your arms up and pulled the two towards you and hugged them. They both wrapped their arms around you and began to cry, you held them tighter until they stopped sobbing slowly you pulled away and placed a hand on their cheeks ‘We need to be brave and strong, look out for each other, protect each other’ you told them and they nodded. After burying your family and praying, you went to your room and packed up your Shamisen and walked outside with it ‘Ah, (Y/N) you're bringing your Shamisen?’ Nezuko asked as you nodded yes, you handed it to Tanjiro then you squatted in front of Nezuko. ‘Nezuko hop on your hurt’ you spoke as she hesitantly hopped on. The both of them knew you were still their kind-hearted older sibling, even if you were a demon now, you held Nezuko up by her thighs and she wrapped her arms around your neck while you leaned down a bit for it to be comfortable for her, you and Tanjiro began walking ‘Hey, Tanjiro?’ You called to him as you three were far from home ‘Yes (Y/N)?' He asked turning his attention to you ‘Where are we going?’ You asked as Nezuko was sound asleep 'Someplace called Mount Sagiri, the guy before Tomioka Giyuu said to find a man who lived there named Urokodaki Sakonji' Tanjiro explained as you looked ahead of you, you only hoped that you three would be safe with this man.
