-Back before he got incarcerated, he LOVED the Steel Samurai. Collected the cards and everything. When he meets Maya she tries to get to know him better by asking him what he likes. He tells her he used to be into the Steel Samurai and even collected the cards before getting incarcerated. Her eyes instantly light up and started telling him about how many new seasons there have been and shows off her own collection of cards. Eventually, Maya suggests a movie night with the WAA gang and Simon. And thus weekly movie nights with the WAA gang plus Maya and Simon has started.
-Simon taught Taka all kinds of tricks. To send letters, pick up coins and put them away, to do little motions with his wings, etc. Athena even runs a TikTok page of Taka doing tricks. People love Taka and Simon.
-Of course he loves psychological horror as a whole. Games, novels, movies, you name it and he will probably give it a shot if it's psychological horror. He also loves horror but not as much as psychological horror. A few he liked are: American Psycho, The Silence of the Lambs, The Shining.
-Likes to work out regularly. Athena insists on him joining her when she goes jogging. He, of course, agrees. He doesn't just go jogging though, he bought some equipment to do workouts at home. Though when he really feels like going all out, he goes to his local gym.
-Very touch starved but also scared of physical touch at the same time. It's not like he's uncomfortable, it's just scary so he's hesitant when it comes to physical contact but, when he is touched like a hug he will be close to tears but will try to play it off like something got in his eyes.
-Constant cold hands and feet.
-Really enjoys the weight of something on him; it calms him down. Athena found this out and decided to get him a weighted blanket as a present; he loves it and uses it all the time. His favorite part of the day is when he's able to sit down, read a book and have the weighted blanket on him.
-Saw someone knit a sweater for their bird and wanted to try it. Which led him to a new found hobby, knitting. It's really calming to him and he likes making little things for Taka and stuff for his home. He's really good at it too! He's even made a few things for Athena and Aura.
-Obviously, he's very well trained in the art of swordsmanship. He has a collection of different katanas, he makes sure to take very good care of them of course, making sure to sharpen, clean, and oil them. He takes pride in his collection and how well he keeps them maintained. He still attends sword fighting lessons.
