"Miguel don't be stupid we can't approach this boy like this" I sighed rubbing a hand over my face
"He is an anomaly Y/N and I don't know why you won't treat him as such" Miguel replied swinging his arms around and making the same point over and over again
"yes but the difference is, that he's only a boy, he's 15 years old and there are people here like Peter B and Gwen who know him, don't approach him like this, it won't end well for you," I said poking my finger at his chest
he stared down at my finger which I refused to move and cracked his neck," you threatening me Y/N?" he asked a sinister smile making its way onto his face
"I'm simply telling you what's going to happen, he's a boy Miguel he's not going to listen, in his eyes, you will be the villain" I sighed
I watched as he became more and more enraged his fists clenching and unclenching before deciding my neck was the next best thing to grip
he pushed me to the wall his large hand covering my neck as he stared me down trying to intimidate me with his height
"he will listen to me and he will do as I say, and so will you Y/N don't make me force you into obedience" he smiled his fangs becoming visible. gosh this guy has some major anger issues
"you'd like that wouldn't you vampire boy, to force me into obedience," I said smiling even though his grip on my throat was getting tighter, " you gonna use them cute little fangs and bite me?" I giggled
reaching one hand over to his jaw rubbing his lip with my thumb and when he made no action to move I lightly pressed my thumb on one of his lower fangs
"oooh super sharp," I said sarcastically as I let my hand fall back to my side
I watched as a slight blush rose up his cheeks as he tried to form a comeback
"Stop teasing Miguel Y/N you know he likes to feel in control" Jessica said walking into his office
Miguel quickly dropped his hands down to his sides walking back to his platform
"ugh I can't help it some people are just too easy" I laughed walking over to her
I heard him growl slightly as I put my arm around Jessica about to turn away
"listen to my warning Miguel, don't become the bad guy unwarranted, it makes you look bitter. Plus I'll have to punish you and you know you don't want that" I said waving my hand behind my back as I left with Jessica
Miguel's Pov
I can't believe she did that, and I bet she knew Jessica had been there too
she always does this touching me and making me angry she is so annoying and to make it worse Jessica for sure thinks I have some sort of crush on her
a crush?!?!
I'm a grown-ass man I don't have 'crushes' especially not on women like Y/N who have beautiful dark skin or chocolate-coloured eyes or long eyelashes or cute dimples

this woman literally makes me want to pull my hair out but everyone else seems to love her and I'm the bad guy per usual
"Hobie what do you want," I said turning around on my platform and feeling a presence behind me
"Nothing mate can't just check up on you?" he said smiling mischievously
"no" I replied dryly
"Whatever mate, anyways how long have you been sporting a hard-on for Y/N" Hobie laughed walking closer to me
"What are you talking about" I replied, this guy was full of the weirdest shit ever
and this statement has to take the cake, I never even thought about that woman like that and he's telling me that she turns me on
"mate, this may not be clear to you but you have a massive crush on Y/N... by the way," he said expressing his big this 'crush' I have on Y/N is by spreading his hands as far as his wingspan allowed him
"I don't" I replied quite tired of these accusations
"mate I get it, she's fit, cute hair, pretty face, banging body can't forget about that lush ar-"
"That's enough Hobie I don't have a crush on her and that's the end is this discussion"
"bruv it's fine to accept, people always treat you as this dominant alpha male persona which is shite, but Y/N treats you like her little bitch and that's what you really like" he said wriggling his eyebrows
I walked off my platform with long strides gripping him by the neck
"I DO NOT LIKE Y/N," I said in a strained but controlled voice
"jeez I thought we were at least friends" a feminine voice said and from the ceiling appeared Y/N herself upside down
"you really need to stop forgetting I can literally become invisible" she giggled jumping down and landing perfectly beside me
"OMG Y/N what are you doing here this totally wasn't a planned confrontation to make you see that Miguel had a crush on you," Hobie said in a sarcastic voice with his hands on with side of his face feigning surprise
"I told you Hobie! you guys just want to see a workplace romance so bad" Y/N said rolling her eyes
"you were here the whole time?" I asked turning my head and looking down at Y/N
"yup left with Jessica, found Hobie plotting joined his madness then became invisible climbed onto that desk over there jumped onto the ceiling and voila" she said shaking her hands
"well sorry for this colossal waste of time, Y/N you were right like usual mate, come to my dimension when you got time," he said before opening a portal and jumping in it
leaving me and my supposed crush alone
"well this was certifiably awkward, anywho I'm gonna think of a better version of your plan," she said patting my shoulder before walking out of my office
I watched the way her hips swayed in her spider suit taking particular notice of her 'lush ass' which I did have to agree with on that part
"Hey Miguel my spider senses can detect a perv by the way," she said turning her face just in time to see me start to blush
I hummed in response sure that if I tried to say anything I would only make a fool of myself
