It was a normal day at JYP University. Students in their respective classes having normal lessons except for Tzuyu’s class that was disrupted by her two friends
“Can we stop with this game already?” Tzuyu getting annoyed with her dorm mates who sneaked into Tzuyu’s Botany Class.
“Oh Come on! We’ve been doing this since first year and we should not let our tradition lay to waste” Chaeyoung protested and looking intently to what was Tzuyu doing
“Are you protesting kasi first time mong matalo?” Dahyun wiggled her eyebrows
“Diba may class kayo?”
“We do but this is more important. First time mong matalo eh!”
“Thesis subject mo ngayon diba, Dah? Goodluck nalang sayo boy kung ggraduate ka pa siguradong tinakwil kana ng group mates mo.” Chaeyoung said at binatukan siya ni Dahyun
“Ulol tumigil ka nga pagka tapos naman neto e aalis nako”
Tzuyu let out a big long sigh that made two of her dorm mates giggle. ‘Wala na talaga akong takas neto’ she thought
They really love this specific class of Tzuyu when they need to study new plants and re-pot them. You think that this is easy to do pero kelangan mo maging precise and gentle when it comes to them and so they are amazed by Tzuyu when she does the work. Tzuyu is now re-potting the plant na naka kunot ang noo carefully carrying the plant to its next pot rather to its next home.
Dahyun and Chaeyoung tried re-potting but laging palya. When Dahyun tried it she had accidentally cut the roots while using a trowel. The roots were essential for it to grow. Grabe yung galit ni Tzuyu she chased Dahyun sa room habang si Chae took a video while laughing
“Halika dito Dahyun!” sambit ni Tzuyu
“Pre tama na hingal na hingal nako di ko naman alam masasaksak ko eh. Chaeyoung misunderstanding lang bro” Dahyun said nearly out of breath
“Anong Chaeyoung misunderstanding pinagsasabi mo” tanong ni Chaeyoung
“Small misunderstanding lang” Dahyun said
"Ulol halika dito!" then silang tatlo nagtatakbuhan receiving questionable faces from the Tzuyu's classmate but yung iba panay picture at kinikilig sa ginagawa ng tatlo.
And when it was Chae’s turn, nahulog niya accidentally yung halaman dahil natapilok siya earning the soil to lose and the roots of the plant has been broken dahil nadaganan niya ito.
“Ah hehe sensya kana bro, eto lang ako hehe” Chaeyoung said while looking at Tzuyu. Panay yung tawa ni Dahyun
"Chaeng tingin ka dito bilis para kang uod jan sa sahig" Dahyun was laughing so hard while taking pictures of Chaeyoung who was still on the floor
Walang magawa si Tzuyu kundi huminga ng malalim and told them that it would be their first and last repotting.
Their game was rather simple it was a rock, paper, scissors game and whoever loses must give the plant to whoever passes Tzuyu’s classroom 25 minutes after the bell rings. A triannual tradition na naisipan ni Chaeyoung out of spite and throughout the years the game has been going on and not once did Tzuyu lose pero ngayon lang siya natalo sa last year nila sa College.
“So, what is it Today?” Chaeyoung asked
”You were here the whole time Tzuyu’s Professor did a lecture. Where did your mind went to again? The Computer Lab?” Chaeyoung blushed as who or what was Dahyun’s pertaining to. Because a certain someone is having her class there.
“It’s Hibiscus” Tzuyu said mindlessly
“Fancy. What does it mean then?”
”Not telling you,Chae” Tzuyu still doing the repotting. She wants it to be perfect
“Search mo bobo may kamay ka diba?”
“Tang ina mo peram cellphone wala nakong data eh”
“Di ko nayan problema poor ass mother ng mama mo”
“Stop it guys I can’t concentrate”
“Awts sorry lodi ko”
Minutes has passed and the bell has rang ending Tzuyu’s botanical class. At that very moment, It dawned to Tzuyu that she needs to give the plant to someone. Dahyun and Chaeyoung laughed at Tzuyu’s face who was in a mixed of annoyed,nervous and horror. This was new for her and hindi niya alam bakit ngayon pa siya natalo.
The same bell also rang at Psychology Department
“Has anyone seen Dahyun?” Sana asked her classmates who were now going out. Sana was worried and furious at Dahyun who skipped their Thesis Class.
“You could try looking for her at the Botany Department” One classmate said. Sana was always curious why is Dahyun always there and she will recommend na lumipat nalang ng botanical course total dun naman siya naka tambay parati.
Classmate na sila Sana at Dahyun noon pa with some certain subjects since same course naman sila but it was just last semester nagka kilala dahil naging ka group na sila for their Thesis.
She gave a warm smile to her classmate and thank them which made them blush.
Sana is undeniably the face of Psychology Department and not only sa kanilang department dahil nakarating ang kanyang beauty and brains throughout the campus. She would always smile and wave to whoever she meets at the same time analyzes them and their behaviour. She likes to get information from their movement and speech which has always fascinated her and keep it on her diary for further research.
For Sana, human beings are so easy to read. She wants challenge. Will she find one?
“Satang, let’s go to the Cafeteria now. Gutom nako” Momo barging in at Sana’s classroom like its no problem.
“Wow, classroom mo to? Bilis mo ah malayo naman building mo rito” Sana said.
“Luh! ako lang to si Natoy ang bilis bilis lumakad.”
“If I know aside from me you’re looking for Dahyun diba?”
“Pala deciding ka girl pero oo hehe” Momo said while blushing then Sana rolled her eyes
“Actually I’m looking for her they said nasa Botany Department raw pupuntahan ko siya dun. Curious ako eh why is she always there”
”Oh uhm, C-can I come?”
”I thought you were hungry?” Sana was now teasing Momo
“Wag mo akong sinapsychology ah tigilan mo yan, Satang”
“Even if I don’t, I know you because you are my bestfriend. So, tara na!”
”Pero ehh? Ang layo layo ng Botany Department. Bakit dun?” As the two started walking towards the Department
“Tanong mo mamaya, Mo para may topic kayo” Sana winked then Momo rolled her eyes
Tzuyu, Dahyun and Chaeyoung were the only ones staying at the room waiting for 25 minutes to pass.
“Are you excited, Chou?” Chaeyoung teased her
“Shut up.”
“ I don’t know why you hate this game. Half of the Students here at our School is waiting for you to lose”
Well Tzuyu has a lot of admirers throughout the Campus at nung nalaman nila yung tradition they would try to pass Tzuyu’s room baka sakaling matalo siya at mabigyan sila ng halaman but they would do it randomly dahil nalaman na ng iba yung pattern ng kanilang tradition kaya some are sad dahil hindi nila alam na ginawa na pala nila ang tradition and it was given to someone else.
Tzuyu rolled her eyes. She doesn’t know why but she feels at ease when she’s surrounded by flowers and plants. For her, they have their own soul, symbol and meaning at life which makes them rather interesting than humans and as silly as it may sound giving flowers to someone which also meant that she’s giving a part of her self to someone. This wasn’t just a game for Tzuyu and it is scaring her.
Tzuyu's college life only consists of plants, studying, being an archery varsity and her annoying friends. Wala siyang pake kung sinong sikat o sinong nagkaka gusto sa kaniya dahil hindi naman din daw importante dahil wala naman daw impact sa kaniyang buhay yon.
Chaeyoung and Dahyun had done this a couple of times giving a plant to someone total sila naman yung parating talo and Tzuyu would just stand and look at the person receiving kasi sometimes they look dumbfounded, scared pero mostly kinikilig and they would up liking either of the two.
9 minutes left.
“Why is the Botany Department so far away. Nayeon’s gonna be pissed at us. She’s waiting for us at the Cafeteria” Momo said while catching her breath
“Tell her nalang na we’ll be going to Dahyun dahil gusto mo siya makita and I think kasama naman sila ni Mina at Jihyo”
“Papahamak mo pa talaga ako. Crazy ka ba? O siya i tetext ko na”
Sana rolled her eyes and at that very moment they were at the front of the Botany Department but the problem is they don’t know where Dahyun is.
Both of them got some looks from the department like ‘Wow! They are so pretty’,’They are in different department why are they here’,’Why is that person’s stomach rumbling?’
Every weird looks they got was rather amusing for Sana. How easy humans are astonished to other humans when in fact we are all equal.
4 minutes left.
Sana and Momo still looking for Dahyun. Every room they pass they check as if they are on door duties. It was tiring for Sana the fact that she wore heels. She doesn’t know why of all the days she wants to look tall.
“Oh God, let’s take a 2 minute break then we’ll go up” Momo said
“Wag na last floor na oh I’m sure andun siya sa taas”
“Satang pinapatay mo ba ako”
“You’re over reacting ginusto mo yan eh and the girls are waiting for us kaya bilisan mo na”
The time was ticking fast for Sana and slow for Tzuyu
