Watched several documentaries on medieval English Kings and decided to make a Chat GPT on Rhaegar being Henry II of England:
As Rhaegar Targaryen emerged victorious from the rebellion, he realized that he needed to secure his family's position on the Iron Throne. He decided to annex the Stormlands and Riverlands into the Crownlands, hoping to prevent any future rebellions. This bold move earned him both respect and fear from his subjects.
Rhaegar proved to be a strong and able leader, but he faced challenges in his own family. His princes Aegon (from his marriage to Elia Martell), Viserys (his brother), and Jon (from his affair with Lyanna Stark) were constantly at odds with each other. Rhaegar found it frustrating that his own family could not work together for the greater good.
The other kingdoms were not blind to the royal family's internal strife and hoped to use it to their advantage. They saw an opportunity to weaken House Targaryen's hold on the Iron Throne. As tensions rose between the royal princes, Rhaegar struggled to keep the peace and maintain his family's grip on power.
In this alternate universe, Rhaegar's leadership style is reminiscent of Henry II of England, a strong and capable monarch who struggled to manage his own family. Aegon, Viserys, and Jon resemble Henry II's sons, who were constantly fighting for their father's favor and the right to inherit the throne.
Aegon, the eldest son, is like Henry the Young King, who was crowned during his father's lifetime but never got to rule as king. Viserys, the younger brother to Rhaegar, is like Geoffrey Duke of Brittany, who was known for his ambition and thirst for power. Jon, the youngest son, is a mix of Richard the Lionheart and John Lackland, with his valor and ferocity in battle and his questionable claim to the throne.
The future is uncertain for House Targaryen in this alternate universe. Will they be able to maintain their hold on the Iron Throne, or will their internal struggles tear them apart? Only time will tell.
