It’s a quiet day at Trinity.
Just the beginning of the weekend so most students have begun to set in their weekend plans. However, Hifumi is once left with no plans and most of her friends are off with their own plans in action but not all.
‘Azusa usually doesn’t have much going on’ Hifumi thinks. She went to search in the study hall for Azusa.
Over in the back columns, Hifumi spots the white-haired lass. Walking over she called out to her.
“Azusa! It's me, Hifumi!”
Azusa turns around at the sound of the familiar voice.
“Ah… Hifumi. What are you doing here”
“I was wondering if you’d like to hang out today! There is a sale over at Peroro and friends shop and I know you like them as well so I was wondering if you’d like to join me.” Hifumi says slightly mumbling her words, shyness creeping up on her at asking her friend to hang out with her. She didn’t understand quite why she got so nervous around Azusa
‘She’s just too cute for her own’ Himfumi thinks.
“I’d love to! I think I’d like to get a skullman keychain or even a Peroro plush.” Azusa smiles towards Hifumi.
Excited Azusa grabs her bag that was on a table, put back any books she got out back and began to walk with Hifumi to the store.
At the store, the two grew excited seeing how much there was today to grab. Well, Azusa more than Hifumi as she had been here so much that she knew it very well but seeing Azusa excited made her more excited as well!
Hifumi looks over at Azusa “I believe skullman merch should be over there at that aisle.” Hifumi pointed in the direction of an aisle in the back.
Azusa walked over to the ilse with a little skip in her step, very obviously happy to find what she wanted. Hifumi quietly giggled to herself at seeing such a display from Azusa, even when she’s trying to be her usually monotone self she can’t help but let her happiness through. It makes her even more cute. Wait, Hifumi catches herself again thinking Azusa is cute again! Argh! She can’t help it!
Azusa picks up a skullman keychain. Calling over to Hifumi “Hifumi, I found one!”
“Nice find Azusa! Do you want to look for anything else?”
“Mmm, maybe the plush? Do you not want anything?”
“Oh! I do… well I wanted to see if there’s anything new and what was on sale”
“Let’s check over at the sale section, shall we?”
Heading over to the sale Hifumi spots a limited edition wave cat pillow on sale!
“Omg! I can’t believe this is on sale and it’s not been grabbed yet!” Hifumi exclaims loudly
Azusa's face lights up as she hurries over to grab the plush. “We must get it! It’s too valuable not to!” She states at Hifumi as she holds out the plush to her.
Hifumi giggles “It’s fun seeing your excitable side Azusa, you’re usually so stern. I love all these seeing the many sides to Azusa!”
Azusa blushes, looking away flustered and shy. “I’m just cautious… that’s all… but with you, I feel like I can let my true self show a lot more. I’m comfortable around you” Azusa smiles back at Hifumi, a blush still very heavy on her face, still holding the cat plush.
Hifumi reaches out to the plush, smiling. “That means so much to hear. I love seeing your true self Azusa. I hope I can see more of it.” Her fingers lightly graze over Azusas and she grabs for the plush. The exchange making the two blush even harder.
Flustered “Err… we should go over and pay… yes yes!” Hifumi stutters around her words.
“Yes, we should…. Mmm” Azusa says, looking off like she wants to say more.
“Unless you want to get more! Sorry, I didn’t mean to rush you” Hifumi worries.
“No, that’s not it. Just…. mmmm I was wondering… maybe if you’d like…. to hold hands?” Azusa asks. Looking down at her feet shyly.
“Ye.. yes. Yes, we can.” Hifumis's voice so low it could be a whisper.
Azusa reaches her hand out slowly and Hifumi shakily accepts.
They walk over to the counter, hand in hand and pay for the items they grabbed. Exiting the store, the two stood awkwardly waiting.
‘I don’t want this to end, It can’t end! I just got to hold Azusas hand’ Hifumi thinks
“Do you wanna grab something to eat? Maybe?” Hifumi nervously asks
“That sounds wonderful, what should we eat?”
“Well, I decided where we went first, it feels rude to decide where to eat. Do you have any ideas?”
“How about some sweet pancakes!” Azusa blushes, her heart beating fast at the thought of eating pancakes with Hifumi.
“I think there is a dessert shop near the food court that might do pancakes.”
They begin to walk hand in hand over to where the desert shop is. Blushing faces and hearts beating fast, they make their way over.
The dessert shop is a nice little cafe; it’s quiet today so the girls could easily find a table to sit at.
“What would you like? I can go up and order for us” - Hifumi
“Their 4 stack pancakes look nice and maybe an iced tea? What about you?”
“Maybe one of their bubbles waffles, the strawberry and chocolate one sounds lovely. And I’ll grab an iced tea too”
Hifumi went to the counter and ordered what they wanted then headed back to the table to wait.
“Hifumi… may I ask you a question?”
“Sure, you can ask me anything Azusa”
“I’ve felt so happy today and created such wonderful happy moments and I always do when I’m with you. I get so happy and overwhelmed that sometimes it feels like my heart will explode. I wanna continue to make happy memories with you so… will you be my girlfriend?”
“Oh! Azusa. That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. Of course, I will. You make me feel like my heart will implode on itself.”
Azusa slowly leans across and gently kisses Hifumis's lips. She kisses back and takes the chance to deepen the kiss ever so. Azusa pulls back slightly breathless.
“I will protect you for the rest of your life. I will lay my life down for you. I will do anything for you, I love you so much”
“I love you so much too! That’s very intense” Hifumi says giggling.
“I would lay my life down for you too”
They hold each other's hands and stare into each other's eyes until their food arrives.
What a perfect date!
