Chapter Text
It was roughly 8 am when a five year old blonde woke up at the smell of his favorite breakfast. Bakugou Katsuki ran downstairs with a big smile plastered on his face. "Mom! Mom! I know who I want to marry!"
"Whoa there Katsuki. Be careful you could hurt yourself running down the steps." His dad, Masura, called out.
"What do you mean Katsuki? Who has my little boy's heart?" His mother, Mitsuki, plated food for him.
"They're gorgeous. They have striking yellow/blond hair with a black lightning bolt. They have these perfect sunny eyes," Young Katsuki beams as the dream he had the night before replays in his head, "Mama I want to marry them."
"Katsuki. It's really you." A twenty-one year old male speaks coldly, "You left me, didn't you? I trusted you with my love and you betrayed me. You didn't text or call me when you got back. I saved myself for you and you went and broke me more than I already am. I hate you Bakugou Katsuki! I wish I never agreed to marriage!"
"Wait Sparky! I'm sorry, mon esprit. I wanted to talk to you, but I got busy. No matter what I did, I couldn't get to you. I tried and tried and tried, but I kept getting pushed further from you." Katsuki tried to reason with his partner, but it seemed to not be working.
"I've had enough of your bullshit, Katsuki! I'm done with this crap you keep calling love!" Sparks started to fly from the male in front of Katsuki. He looked down to his own hand not caring if Katsuki was following his gaze, "You can take this stupid ring back. Apparently it means nothing to you."
A soft clink was made as the embedded yellow sapphire ring hit the floor. Katsuki looked down and back up to his now ex-husband. "Please don't do this, mon esprit. I promise I can try harder I'll do anything just don't leave me, please." Katsuki fell to his knees tears slipped off his eyelashes.
The silence was defening. Katsuki's whimpers and tears, the heavy breathing coming from both men, and the short growls coming from the standing one were the only thing audible.
Katsuki shot out of bed panting heavily. He had just turned 15 the day prior. "A break up. Seems like me and him aren't going to last much longer after the marriage. Jesus what the hell did I do."
With a sigh Katsuki got up to shower and change into his school uniform. He looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes were puffy as if he was crying. Apart from the first time, when he was five, Katsuki never told his parents about his dreams. The dreams could happen 4 to 8 times a month, sometimes even more often then that. The young teen sat down at the dinner table exhausted.
"What's wrong, why the gloomy face?" His mom came into the room.
"It's nothing mom. What are we having for breakfast?"
Mitsuki looked at him oddly, "Well we're having tamagoyaki, miso soup, and rice."
Katsuki nodded his head and stood up, "Alright, thanks. I'm going back upstairs for a little bit, come get me when breakfast is done."
Despite being confused, Mitsuki agreed. "What has gotten into his thick head." Mitsuki shook her own head and continued breakfast.

"Kacchan, you don't look to good. You doing okay?" Midoriya's cheery voice rings in Bakugou's ears.
"Honesty, no. I'm not doing okay," Katsuki exhales. "I had another dream about him. This time he was yelling at me about me not calling or texting him. He was pissed. His face was red and he was crying. He looked so done with whatever I did wrong. I apparently kept doing it because he threw the ring at me and left."
"Damn, this is after the marriage?" Izuku laughed. "You must've messed up big time, Kacchan. I can't wait until you meet him."
Katsuki growled, "It's not funny Izu. It was like a nightmare. I woke up crying. This is the first time in ten years I have ever had a dreamt about divorcing him."
Izuku looked over at his close friend and seen some small tears slip free from his ruby eyes, "No need to cry, Kacchan. I'm sure these dreams aren't going to tell the future you know."
Katsuki looked up towards the sky and chuckled, "Yeah, you're right. No need to cry."
The school day went by as slow as usual to Katsuki and Izuku. "Hey, Midoriya."
The green haired boy turned towards the solemn voice, "Yeah, what is it, Kacchan?"
"I've made a decision. It's going to be hard, but I'm going to find him!" Katsuki's gaze fell to the ground.
"You're joking. Kacchan, you do realize that he might not even be in Japan! How the hell are you going to even find a relative location?!"
"I don't have a clue. Yet, I do know that I'll do anything to protect him and be by his side all the time. I mean yeah I fell for someone I don't even know exists." He looked at his hands, "But he's gorgeous and everything a man or woman would want."
"You're one lovesick boy, Kacchan."
"Shut up Izu." Despite the growl in Katsuki voice, he was smiling.
"All that aside, where are you going for highschool?"
"You should know by now."
"Yuuei high," The greenette laughed lightly. "As expected. I'm planning to go as well. Let's hope we get in together."
"I bet I can get a higher score."
"Just because you have an awesome quirk, doesn't mean you can underestimate me."
Katsuki bellowed out a laugh, leaned on Izuku throwing an arm over his shoulders. "I don't think I will." They laughed and left for their respective houses.
It was the last week of middle school, when Katsuki saw a glimpse of the bright yellow/blonde hair, that has been plaguing his dream, in his peripheral vision. His heart skipped a beat then started racing. There's no way. Katsuki whipped his head to his right where he saw the hair. Where did you go?
"...chan. Kacchan! Hello." Bakugou snapped back to reality. "You okay? You were starting off into space and your face is crimson."
Katsuki hand went to his face and felt around. He was indeed blushing. "I-I don't know. I felt like the world stopped for a minute."
Midoriya sighed, "Are you seriously okay? You've been doing that a lot recently."
"Y-yeah I'll be fine. No need to worry."
"Okay. Oh today we fill out highschool registration papers."
"I completely forgot. Thanks for reminding me. We should get going." Katsuki looks back once more to the gate and started off toward their classroom.
