Chapter Text

It was a sunny Saturday morning when Tony, Pepper, Morgan, and Peter gathered at the entrance of Stark Industries. Their excitement was palpable as they prepared for a special day at an amusement park. Morgan's enthusiasm had been sparked by watching a YouTube video of someone vlogging their thrilling adventures at an amusement park, and she had been persistently pleading with her parents to go ever since.

Tony, always one to spoil his baby girl plenty, couldn't resist her adorable pleas. With a mischievous smile, he had planned a surprise trip to the amusement park, ensuring a day of pure family fun. However, the Starks were no ordinary family, and they knew they couldn't enjoy a day out without being recognized and creating chaos.

Thus, the idea of disguises was born. Tony, the master of technology, had developed special nanotech outfits that could transform their appearance instantly. Pepper, Morgan, and Tony had all decided to wear their disguises, complete with wigs, sunglasses, and hats, ensuring they would blend seamlessly into the crowd.

As they stepped out of Stark Industries, Morgan's eyes widened with excitement as she saw the sleek sports car waiting to take them to the amusement park. "Daddy, is this a surprise for me?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Tony grinned and winked at her. "You bet, kiddo. Buckle up, because we're in for a wild ride today!"

When Tony extended the invitation to Peter, a rush of emotions washed over him. Excitement mingled with gratitude, creating a whirlwind of childhood giddiness within his heart. Peter knew how much Morgan wanted this day, and the fact that Tony had included him meant the world to him.

However, as Peter processed the invitation, a sense of responsibility tugged at his conscience. He didn't want to overshadow Morgan's experience or make the day about himself. It was his first time to a theme park. He’s been invited time and time again to go with Ned or MJ. But each time he didn’t have that type of money to spend. So after Tony’s long and hard persistent reminders that he’d pay for everything Peter wanted, he agreed. (Even if Tony didn’t just mean for this day only).

Suppressing his own eagerness, Peter responded with a smile and accepted Tony's invitation graciously. Inside, he felt just as thrilled as Morgan, envisioning the exhilarating rides, delectable treats, and carefree moments that awaited them.

Throughout the car ride to the amusement park, Peter fought the urge to express his excitement outwardly. He marveled at the beauty of the world outside the window, eagerness building with each passing mile. Although Peter's heart raced with anticipation, he maintained a calm facade, focusing on the adventure that lay ahead for Morgan.

As they approached their destination, Peter's eyes flickered between the vibrant colors and the infectious energy that filled the air. The excitement in his chest grew stronger, but he reminded himself that this day was about Morgan's dreams and desires. He couldn't let his own excitement take center stage.

With every passing moment, Peter admired Morgan's infectious enthusiasm. Her laughter and animated chatter filled the car, fueling his anticipation further. The thought of sharing this experience with her, witnessing her unbridled joy, made the journey all the more special.

Peter was grateful for the chance to be a part of the Stark family's day at the amusement park. As they approached the entrance, Peter's masked excitement lingered just beneath the surface, ready to burst forth once the adventure truly began.

The journey to the amusement park was filled with laughter and anticipation. Morgan, her eyes sparkling with delight, chattered endlessly about all the rides she hoped to experience. Pepper held her daughter's small hand tightly, excitement mirrored in her eyes. Tony, known for his quick wit and playful banter, teased Peter about his inability to join in on the disguise fun.

Arriving at the park, they marveled at the vibrant colors, the sound of laughter, and the exhilarating energy that filled the air. The tantalizing aroma of cotton candy and popcorn permeated the atmosphere, heightening their anticipation.

As they approached the entrance, Tony glanced at his family and then at Peter, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "Alright, team, this is it! Remember, we're incognito. Morgan, no revealing our secret identities to anyone, okay?" he joked, earning a giggle from his daughter.

Tony, being the impatient man he is, brought everyone through the fast lane of the check in. Skipping the lines and lines of people waiting to enter the park.

As they ventured past the entrance of the amusement park, Pepper couldn't contain her excitement at the captivating sights surrounding them. The vibrant colors, the bustling atmosphere, music and the palpable sense of joy in the air filled her with anticipation.

Pepper turned to Tony, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. "Tony, this place is wonderful! We should capture this moment with a family photo," she suggested, a bright smile on her face.

Tony, pleased with the idea, glanced at Peter, who instinctively extended his hand,  offering to take the photo. Tony's expression shifted, a look of confusion spread across the genius’ face.

Peter, eager to contribute to the family moment, stepped forward. "I can take the photo!" he offered.

Tony's eyes widened, his confusion giving way to understanding. A surge of warmth filled his heart as he looked at Peter, realizing the depth of their connection. A genuine smile formed on his face. "Peter, what good would a family photo be if you’re not in it?" he chuckled, emphasizing the word ‘family’.

“You do know you're already a part of this family, right?” He adds.

Peter's eyes widened in surprise as he catches on, his heart skipping a beat at Tony's words. The realization hit him like a wave, washing away any doubt or insecurity he had harbored. Tony, his mentor and father figure, acknowledged him as a true member of their family.

A mixture of emotions swirled within Peter—joy, and a touch of disbelief. For so long, he had kept his feelings about Tony as a father figure hidden, afraid to reveal the depth of his attachment and rejection. And now, to have those feelings reciprocated so openly, it left him stunned.

He managed a small, stunned smile, unable to find the words to express his surprise and gratitude. It was a defining moment, a validation of the special bond they shared, and a reminder that he was truly loved and accepted.

Pepper, sensing the significance of the moment, placed a comforting hand on Peter's shoulder. "Peter, we've always seen you as family. You're an important part of our lives," she said, her voice filled with warmth and reassurance.

Peter's surprise slowly transformed into a radiant smile. The weight of his secret, the fear of rejection, was lifted, replaced by a newfound sense of belonging. He felt a surge of love and gratitude toward Tony and Pepper, grateful for the family they had become.

With their unspoken understanding, they embraced each other, a tight-knit unit ready to enjoy the wonders and adventures that awaited them in the amusement park. The notion of capturing a formal family photo faded away, as the love and connection they shared were already imprinted on their hearts.
