"You look like a flower, the prettiest if you ask me" is what Hanbin says as he holds up his phone to take a picture of his boyfriend with the bouquet of daisies he had just given him.
And thank heavens he managed to capture the shy smile that appeared on Hikaru's face, even his cheeks blushed and Hanbin's heart can't feel happier so he smiles too.
Although the moment doesn't last too long because seconds later he has Hikaru "hitting" him with the bouquet of flowers.
"What the fuck is wrong with you Lee Hanbin?" Hikaru questions.
"Watch that vocabulary!" Hanbin says as he stops Hikaru.
"Aish, you're so cheesy for god's sake!" Hikaru's expression was angry (which was a lie, he just liked to annoy Hanbin).
"Yeah, well, maybe I am but isn't that the reason why you let me be your boyfriend?" Hikaru doesn't say a single word, he just watches as Hanbin pulls a small flower from the bouquet and places it behind his ear, oh, Hanbin being the first one to give him physical contact, wow this day was a dream.
"I couldn't refuse though, I mean, you're quite the case Hanbin".
Hanbin and Hikaru were opposites and perhaps it sounded too cliche but the two complemented each other perfectly.
Hanbin was never really a lover of physical contact, although, now that he holds Hikaru's hand as they both head back to his apartment, even when the night is already a bit cool and he is a bit cold, he declares himself a fan of the warmth that the japanese guy transmits to him, the warmth he gives him through his hugs when he comes home from his part-time job, the kisses he quickly gives him when they manage to meet in the halls of the university, when Hikaru squeezes his cheeks because to him Hanbin reminds him of a fluffy puppy, all those times when Hikaru lets him know that he wants to be close to him.
But Hanbin was not the only one, because what for him is physical contact, for Hikaru it is words of affirmation, flattery, all those 'cheesy' things Hanbin usually says to him.
He even remembers the time Hanbin wrote him a song and sang it at him in the college festival just because he wanted everyone to know how much he liked his boyfriend.
And Hikaru wouldn't forget how Wooseok and Yunwon held him so he wouldn't faint while watching Hanbin on that stage.
And he also won't forget how everyone used to say that they envied him and would like to have someone like Hanbin (but surprise Lee Hanbin there was only one and he only had eyes for Hikaru).
It's still a bit difficult for him to deal with compliments but thanks to Hanbin he learned to realize that he deserves them, although well Hanbin sometimes tends to be a bit cheesy and Hikaru doesn't know how to handle it but he's sure he'll learn.
Although there really are times when Hanbin goes overboard, don't get him wrong, it's just that sometimes he would say such nice things at the least unexpected times.
Like the time Hanbin woke him up at 3am just to tell him how much he loved him since he just had a nightmare where they both ended their relationship.
But at the end of the day all those things is what made their relationship so sweet and cute.
When Hanbin had bad days Hikaru would hug him, because even if it was a little hard for him, that way he would let Hanbin know he was there for him, then cook him his favorite meal and spend the night in each other's arms.
When Hikaru felt that maybe he wasn't giving enough, Hanbin would tell him that he had worked so hard and that he was more than proud of him, he would shower him only with nice words, he would help him to love those little details that made him.
Even if there were cloudy days in their relationship they would both do their best to fix it and make the sun come out again, because they were each other's warmth and light.
And Hanbin doesn't say anything, he just takes Hikaru by the waist as he kisses him gently, it's sweet, it's something new for Hanbin because he's not the one who usually initiates kisses and it has taken them both by surprise, but it feels good, it feels peaceful, it's just like they were made for each other. And even if they don't want to they must separate due to the lack of air, and while Hanbin continues to hold him by the waist, Hikaru decides to be the first to speak.
"I love you Hanbinnie, my sweetheart" he is sincere, there is no hesitation or a hint of joking on his face, he truly loves Hanbin.
The oldest just smiles at him, they both smile at each other and stay in that moment where it's just them under the streetlight and the stars witnessing that moment.
