As per usual, the gang decided to hangout at the park after the mid terms. It was going pretty well— or at least, as well as a hangout with all five of them could get. Shin Jonghak challenging Kim Suho to literally anything, Chae Nayun taking selfies with Yoo Yeonha, who joined her. It wasn’t long before they started getting bored so Nayun decided to start the conversation.
“What do you guys think about the guild tours?…”
Bingo. Shin Jonghak, like usual, flexed about getting scouted by Desolate Moon.
“Haha, well I happened to get scouted by Desolate Moo—“
Chae Nayun interrupted Shin Jonghak
“Yea yea, shut up.. Essence of The Strait invited me..”
With that statement, Yoo Yeonha grinned
“Oh yeah, Hajin was as well.”
Shin Jonghak looked confused, how did Hajin get invited by the Number two ranked guild?
“Ah, I’m being scouted by Creator’s Sacred Grace..”
Kim Suho smiled with his signature golden retriever smile.
“The number one guild? Not really surprised honestly.”
Chae Nayun had commented, while at the same time Yeonha thought about Essence of The Strait’s rivalry with the number one guild as the number two guild.
‘We’ll beat them, don’t worry. You’re Yoo Yeonha, and will be the Queen of Seoul!’
She quietly thought to herself with pride. Meanwhile, a certain someone was unable to catch up with the conversation due to his drowsiness, it was at that moment when..
“So I was thinking we should—“
Kim Suho abruptly stopped mid sentence, and focused his attention on the sudden weight on his shoulder..
“..Hajin?”
Suho poked Hajin a couple times in an attempt to wake him up, only to be faced with failure.
“Sigh…”
Suho sighed as he saw the multiple stares of the people around him.
“Hajin— Hajin! Wake up!”
Kim Suho tried again, to no avail. But the more that he looked at Kim Hajin’s peaceful face as he slept, a new thought appeared in his mind.
‘..Cute’
Kim Suho realized what he thought and turned slightly red, before looking at the stares directed at him and Hajin.
“..Did he really fall asleep??”
Chae Nayun questioned as she poked his face, which was surprisingly a bit squishy.
“It seems so.”
Yoo Yeonha replied, then, an idea came to her mind.
“Let’s make a bet, whoever can wake up Kim Hajin gets paid by everyone else, how does that sound?”
Yeonha voiced her idea with a smirk, immediately a few interested people had turned to Kim Hajin’s direction, who was peacefully napping on Kim Suho’s shoulder.
“Oh it’s on!”
Chae Nayun shouted with excitement, alongside Shin Jonghak, who had the same thoughts as her.
‘I’m gonna win this.’
Yeonha, on the other hand, was confident she would win.
‘Heh, they feel right into the bait’
She smirked, before shouting
“ALRIGHT! The first competitor will be.. Chae Nayun!”
Chae Nayun walked up to Hajin and started quietly stared at Hajin as he slept, before punching him right in the face. To no avail, Hajin did not wake up, instead, Kim Suho’s face of horror and concern was what caught her attention instead.
“Y-you don’t have to result to physical violence to wake someone up!”
Yeonha said in a panic, while Nayun was just disappointed it failed.
“Damn.. It didn’t work?”
Hajin, in response, ended up hugging Kim Suho as he slept. Suho’s face was very obviously, bright red.
“Oh? Well it garnered some kind of reaction!”
Yeonha smiled. The next competitor was Shin Jonghak, who just talked really loudly about his grandfather, his achievements, his strength, his appearance, so on so fourth. But as expected, it didn’t work. Instead, Hajin ended up slapping his face in his sleep and hugging Suho even tighter.
“What the fuck?? Did he just slap me?”
Jonghak looked around with an offended look to see everyone holding in their laughter. Suho’s face somehow got even redder.
“Pffft— I-I mean-! Good try, Jonghak..”
Chae Nayun giggled before Yoo Yeonha got up at tried her attempt. Yeonha grabbed her whip and started hitting things as hard as she could while being near Hajin, safe to say it was pretty loud, but of course, it didn’t work.
“What the hell is this? Is he dead or something??”
Chae Nayun complained before taking glance in Suho’s direction.
“Kim Suho, why don’t you try?”
She said with a grin
“W-wha— Well.. Okay.”
Suho reluctantly agreed. For his turn he tried just waking Hajin up normally which (obviously) didn’t work. So he tried getting up, only to be pulled back by Hajin’s sleeping form. Just as he was about to give up, Hajin finally awoke.
“…Mh.. Why’d you guys keep bothering my nap..”
He said annoyed, though it was hard to take seriously due to his sleepy voice.
“Sorry Hajin..”
Suho apologized but Kim Hajin just stared at him, then at the position of his arms, before quickly jumping up and going into a normal sitting position with a bright red face.
“So.. does that mean Suho wins?”
Nayun asked, while the others just stared in disbelief.
“W-well yeah.. I guess so.”
Yeonha concluded as she just stared at the whole scene before bursting into unexpected laughter. Multiple voices followed after her and over all, everyone just had a great time.
[BONUS]
“Hajin.. Are you sure you’re okay?”
Suho asked concerned. Lately it seemed Hajin wasn’t getting enough sleep, supported by the fact he would fall asleep any chance he got. During class, during hangouts, while eating, he always fell asleep
“Y-yeah..”
He replied, before yawning. Kim Suho’s face showed the he didn’t believe him and quickly dragged him to his dorm.
“W-what are you doing?!—”
“Making sure you take a nap. How many hours do you sleep a day?”
Hajin thought for a moment before answering
“..Like three— I mean!- 8 hours, everyday!”
Suho clearly didn’t believe him as he laid Hajin onto his bed and tucked him in.
“You don’t need to do this, I’m not a child you know!”
“Shhhh. Go to sleep, you clearly need it. Don’t worry about anything, just go to sleep.”
He said with a soft voice, before playing lullaby music and after a couple minutes, Hajin finally succumbed to sleep.
Suho just chuckled before kissing him on the forehead and leaving to train. Hopefully this time, Hajin will get a better rest.
