Looking for hands in just darkening spaces, sliding them around – over shoulders, by the mouth. Catching cheeks in hands, pressing fingertips to the flesh, nothing could ever ruin this. Not the decay, not the mirage of a better life, just outside their door. Nothing could ever ruin this. Thin and cold fingers leave their stings along his neck, trailing down to the clavicle, stopping at the fastens of his uniform. Viktor smells of fresh cracked pepper and menthol camphor this close to him, he's hesitating with the removal of his clothes. He would only have so long, himself, but with Viktor, he felt that maybe, he could live forever.
It was their time here, in the dark of Viktor’s home that Marcus decided to be infinite and forever new, to any ideas or to touch. The grace the man wrapped around him carried, the love and the dedication, the sheer motivation, he couldn’t help but admire it. Cold hands held his, and they burned – scorched with divinity, they made him feel special in a way he hadn’t felt in a long time.
Viktor coughed lightly, wheezing, and Marcus held tighter, the gravity of the situation never let them go. It was alright, to Marcus, for all it was worth. While he wasn’t nearly as gifted as Viktor, he was well versed in the blatant human care and safety that Viktor often forgot to utilize for himself. Viktor turned desperate, and Marcus couldn’t blame him – but he was unintentionally making himself worse, trying to find a cure. Marcus dropped his food off every chance he could, brought Ren to see him when he wasn’t in his lab, Marcus forced Viktor’s hand to relax as much as he could. Though, Viktor was often right, no one lives forever, and time will damn every single being on this planet.
He wanted to think of the best when dealing with this overall, he had hope. Viktor looked down and away from his eyes, potentially hopeful of being as discreet as possible. Every animal seems to want to die in peace. Hands searching in the dark again, pushing warm onto frigid, hopeful to not be pushed away. To much delight, Viktor stayed. It was late into the night, their eyes adjusted gradually against the fading sun, the gentle smile that was given to him was a rare one. It made him feel loved, nothing could ruin this moment.
Dark and perpetual, nothing could ruin this.
