dutch dies. you watch it happen. and then he comes back from the dead. and then he dies again. and you fight. you kill the jian. you kill your mentor. you get called a fool. you go, kill riminah, and then step through the portal that appears before you, and you walk through a full and healed temple and riminah and your mentor have been dead for so long but they were alive you stood talking in an empty office riminah gave you missions there you go to the cave where you slew riminah walk through the portal, and you are in the dream once more. you are in the dream once more, and are told that this wasn't right, wasn't how it went. you are told that you have to try again. you do not want to try again. you do not remember trying before, and you don't want to try again and again and-
you wake up in a cave. you don't know what's going on, who you are, or how you got here. there are whispers, echoes of a half forgotten dream that you can halfway taste, or maybe that's just the blood. probably just the blood. you stand, answer the communicator, vague knowledge of who is on the other end of the line, knowledge but no true memories. You pick up the pistol, and get moving. you have shit to do.
