It’s early, which is admittedly when Osiris likes to be awake. He’s already been up, just briefly before returning to bed, to grab a cup of tea and his holopad, bringing up the newspaper. Little insignificant updates litter the first pages, reminders that life goes on despite the dread and chaos all around them. Neomuna is a strangely pleasant change of pace.
Saint, still half asleep, rolls onto him and wraps his arms around his waist. Buries his face against his chest, Osiris lifting his arms to avoid spilling tea on him, and sighs contently.
Once Saint’s comfortable Osiris leans down and presses a kiss to his head. Then, he simply returns to his paper and tea as he feels Saint relax back into sleep against him. A pleasant change of pace, a break in the storm, if just for a moment.
