Robin realized her feelings during the whole Vecna end of the world thing. She just got stuck on the way her hair flowed while she was running, the way her lips moved when she was talking, the way her faced scrunched up when she was thinking of something. She knew Nancy Wheeler was straighter then a ruler so after they saved the world she ignored her even after declaring they were friends.
Six weeks later Robin found herself working back at the video store unfortunately the thing is still standing, fortunately there aren’t as many customers considering the world almost ended so everyone left. The good thing about being back is endless time laughing with Steve Harrington her best friend.
Today Robin and Steve were talking about the endless amount of girls he can’t get anymore because everyone left. “ yes dingus, I get it your sad that you don’t have any girls but you didn’t have much before so what’s the point” Steve gave her an offended look “ First of all Robin! I did get girls and I was a gentleman I’ll have you know, Second of all, I don’t see you getting any girls either even before”
Robin gave him a look that said ‘And how was that supposed to happen’ and as Steve was about to say something the bell rang and Mike Wheeler was entering the store. “Hi guys!” Mike ran up to the counter “Hey little Wheeler you here alone” Steve said “No, Nancy parking the car. She’s coming in” and at that Robin ran to the back room before she could see her. “Robin where you going?!” Steve called, she ignored him
Robin could hear the bell ring again and Nancy’s voice say “Hey Steve, where’s Robin I thought she was working today?” “um….uh..” Steve obviously didn’t no what to say “ once she heard you was coming in she ran in the back” mike said. While Robin in the back whispers to her self ‘Fucking idiot’ “oh” is all Nancy says and Robin is glad she can’t see her face right now because she would have gave up. “I guess I’ll go wait in the car hurry up Mike” Nancy said sounding hurt and angry at the same time. “ I’ll see you later Steve” “yeah later” Steve said sounding confused.
She waited until Mike left too because she didn’t want to deal with his questions and looks. So once the bell rang a second time she peeked around and joined Steve with his questioning look “ um… what was that about are you avoiding Nancy?” She walked up to the counter and put her head down on it a little too hard “ you wouldn’t understand Steve or maybe you would seeing as you’ve been through the same thing, but no you wouldn’t understand because this is different I’m a girl your a guy and you already know about me so…” “Robin! chill” Steve cut off her rambling “ what are you talking about?” She stayed silent “Whatever it is it can’t be that bad.” She looked at him and said “you have no idea”
