Mitsuba had just left the broadcasting room and went to his boundary, looking for something to do. Theirs tons of mirrors, windows and other reflective places to go through but in one he see something that looks familiar.
“Is that Daikon-Senpai?..” He thought while squinting at the mirror. The girl he was talking about seemed to be cleaning the bathroom and he was interested so he had a genius idea on how to surprise her. As she started wiping the mirror he stuck his arm out and grabbed her shoulder aggressively.
“Ack! Get off of me!!” She squealed as she slapped his hand. Mitsuba peeked out the mirror while pulling his arm off. “Ha! You should’ve saw your face!! That was hilarious.” He giggled while rubbing his hand.
Suddenly a male voice speaks. “Wouldn’t be so hilarious if I cut your arm off.” Hanako pulls his knife out giving off a ominous stare, as a warning of course. “Theres no need for that..” Nene pushed him out the way slowly. Hanako put the knife away as he pouted and walked back to the window. “Now, less chatter more water splatter!” He swung his hand up and down. Nene sighed and wiped the next mirror over. “You can come back out now Mitsuba.” Mitsuba peeked his head out slowly with a scared expression.
Mitsuba looks around and noticed that someone was missing. “Where’s Minamoto-Kun?” He asked genuinely curious. Mitsuba liked messing with him so now he wants to mess with him, out of boredom. “You know what I was gonna ask the same thin-“ Hanako then heard shoe sliding by the door. “Sorry I couldn’t come in here fast enough, Satou pranked me with this sour candy thing and I had to wash the taste out my mouth..” Kou rubbed his neck as he walked in.
“Oh hey Minamoto-Kun, your earring is looking extra lame today.” Mitsuba giggled to himself as Kou stared in annoyance. Kou grabbed a cloth and sprayed some stuff on it.
“How was your day Kou? Other then that whole sour candy thing..” Nene asked as she wiped. “Uh pretty good, I had toast for breakfast and stuff so it was cool.” Kou said as he wiped. Mitsuba looked at Kou, giving him a bored look to mess with him a bit. “What do you want pinkie?” Kou asked as he stared. “I’m boreddd!!~ Can we like do something?!” Mitsuba said in a whiny tone as he reached out for Kou.
“Mitsuba and Kou sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-..” Hanako sang and floated around. Kou then pulled him down by his arm. “If you keep going, I’ll get the mokke in here and have them locke you in the supply closet.” Kou said angered. “Theres bugs in there! Have you no sympathy?..” Hanako pouted and floated away. “Nope but I do have a bored friend.” Kou said and looked at Mitsuba. Mitsuba got out the mirror and grabbed Kou’s arm. He looked back at the two and stuck his tongue out.
As they got further away from the bathroom, they got to a vending machine. Mitsuba looked at kou and smirked. “Watch this!” Mitsuba put his arm through the glass and got himself some chips. “Want some? Which ones do you want?” Kou blinked. “Well first of all that’s stealing.. but I appreciate it.” Mitsuba shrugged. He got him some chips and he slammed them into his chest. “Take em’ anyway loser.” Mitsuba walked up to the rooftop. Kou held the chips and ran after him.
Kou ran up the steps and saw Mitsuba sitting on the bench eating the chips. Mitsuba noticed him staring and hit him with his scarf. “You have your own chips, eat them.” Mitsuba ate his chips and laid back as Kou sat down next to him. “I was worried about you.” Mitsuba stared at Kou and put his sleeve on his mouth.
“I don’t understand… why do you care so much about me? Why do you care at all? I really can’t figure you out Minamoto-Kun.” Mitsuba asked as his voice muffled in the sleeve. Kou stared at Mitsuba and sighed as he grabbed his hand. “Hey what the-!” Mitsuba tried to yank his hand back but Kou had grip on his hand.
“Why?! What do you mean why?! Are you that blind!? Do you not realize how important you are to me?! Do you not get how many thoughts or mine you consume on a daily basis?! Do I really have to spell it out for you..? It’s …” Kou sighed and looked at Mitsuba with tears almost in his eyes.
“Mitsuba, I love you. I really do.”
Mitsuba opened his mouth a bit as a attempt to cut Kou off but he kept talking.
“You’re one of if not the most important person in my life. I.. I love talking to you, I love your smile, I love hearing your voice, I want.. I want to make you happy. I care because I can’t get you Out of my head! You matter too much to me..you make my heart beat so fast, my mind race and I just..I want to be with you constantly…I really feel like a fool…I’m in love with you.“ Kou looked down at the floor.
Mitsuba looked at him as his eyes softened a bit. “That must’ve took some time to muster up..heh.” Mitsuba giggled a bit and hugged Kou. “I like you too, I’m actually glad you confessed first because wouldn’t have been able to..” Kou hugged him back tightly with happy tears rolling down his face.
