___When Kai is abducted to a new world, he isn't too worried. What he is worried about is the fate of the boy he was taken to replace. Unfortunately, communication is going to be a challenge. MK, meanwhile, doesn't know why he was kidnapped, or who the person left as a decoy was, but he knows he has to escape before it's too late.

"Hello all. This is the latest installment in my Ninjago Series (the GiGAU is what I've started calling it on Tumblr). It's a short side story set after my latest fic, One Heck of a Wedding. Reading that's not required for this (though there are some references), but there will be spoilers up to the second main story, In Need of Polish if you haven't read that far. However, if you haven't seen Monkie Kid, don't worry, my Beta Reader assures me you can follow along regardless, though there are some spoilers.
For those who are here for Monkie Kid, welcome. This fic is set in season 2 after the episode Minor Scale. If you haven't read the rest of my Ninjago series, the GiGAU is a crossover between the TV show and The Lego Ninjago Movie. Characters for both series will be in this, though it is more focused on Movie Kai and Monkie Kid Characters for the most part, and the rest show up either in this chapter or at the end. I'm hoping to keep including Monkie Kid characters at least as cameos in the series if not more often going forward. I'd also like to explore how the changes this fic makes would impact the Monkie Kid canon going forward.
