Chapter Text

~VEGETA’S POV~

I opened my eyes to find myself in one of the medical rooms of Frieza’s main base. Memories of the encounter on earth against Kakarot seared my mind as I breathed through the oxygen mask. As the liquid drained away and I stepped out of the tank, I realized that Frieza’s younger sister, Princess Tundra, was standing in the room, staring coldly at me, even as I was nude.

“Leave us,” she ordered the medics as she snapped her tail on the floor, causing everyone else in the room to flee. “Get dressed, Prince Vegeta. We have places to be.”
I followed her orders and dressed in the armor set out on a nearby table. I noted that this armor was better quality than what would usually be given to me.

“I ordered them to give you the medicine to regrow your tail. They did not want to do that at first,” Tundra said after a moment as I got dressed.

“Thank you, Princess. But I must ask, what business do you have with me?” I asked as I turned to look at her.

“Frieza found out about the Dragon Balls when the medical staff searched your memories while you were in the tank. He is on his way to Planet Namek now to get them. You and I are going after them to stop him and kill him. I hate my brother just as much, if not more, than you,” Tundra said calmly. “He must be stopped before he makes his wish for immortality.”

“Then let’s get out of here, Princess,” I said with a snarling grin as my tail whipped back and forth.

“Follow me,” Tundra said before turning to walk out of the med bay.

We had almost reached the docking bay when we ran into Cui, who immediately kneeled before Tundra and the other soldiers he had been talking to.

“Princess Tundra, Vegeta,” Cui said, sneering as he said my name. “It is a pleasure to see you, Princess. Nice to see that you are not dead, Saiyan.”

“Spare your lies, Cui, and get out of our way. As my brother desired, I am escorting Vegeta to see our Lord Frieza. Do you really want to delay us and risk his wrath?” Tundra stated calmly, a wicked smirk playing on her lips as she poised her tail as if she was about to stab Cui.

“No, my Lady. We shouldn’t keep the Monkey Prince from meeting his punishment at our Emperor’s hand,” Cui said as he stood up and let us by.

Tundra led me into a small ship for two people before setting the coordinates for Namek and taking off. She ran a hand over her face and groaned before looking at me.

“I do not doubt that Cui will be following us,” I said calmly as I sat in the chair beside her.

“So, you had the same feeling then. Good. That means we can kill him too,” she said simply before standing. “There is armor and a training room on this ship, and I am going to change, and then you and I will train.”

During the trip to Namek, Tundra and I trained relentlessly. As her power grew, so did mine. She told me about every weakness that she knew Frieza had, which had not been many. During our training, she taught me the beginnings of how to sense power levels, an ability that only she had out of the entire Cold family and one that she had wisely kept to herself. When we landed on Namek, I could vaguely sense power levels but still needed to learn individual energies. When Tundra looked up as we disembarked our ship, I noticed a pod following us. I snarled and sent a Gallick Gun at it and grinned as it exploded satisfyingly.

“That was lovely,” Tundra said with a hum.

“Frieza’s already terrorizing the planet. Kakarot or his friends are likely here already, with Kakarot not far behind him,” I said as I wrapped my tail around my waist.

“I sense a village not far from here. We will not kill anyone; we will just take the dragon ball and run. We will tell them that we’re trying to protect them from Frieza…even though it will get them killed anyway,” Tundra said, almost regretfully.

“You’re going to try and restore what he’s destroyed after we’ve killed him, aren’t you?” I asked.

“I hate what he represents, Vegeta. I want to destroy it all, the entire Empire. I want to find Cold and Cooler and kill them, too. I was only born to give the Empire a pretty face to cover up the brutality,” Tundra sneered. “Now they’ll see just what they’ve created.”

“Let’s go. We need to hurry. Frieza’s soldiers will have noticed that spike in power on their scouters,” I said before we took to the air and flew off in the direction of one of the villages.

~TUNDRA’S POV~

After several minutes of flying, we landed at a village of Namekians, and the village elder came out to greet us.

“Greetings, Elder Namekian. My companion and I have traveled to your world to seek the Dragon Balls. We’re trying to stop the horrors my brother is bringing down on your people. He is a tyrant and will kill everyone to get what he wants,” I said, trying to plead with the Namekian. “We wish to kill him and end his endless rampage.”

“We will give you our Dragon Ball. But there is a rumor that another group is seeking to kill the Tyrant, and one of them is half-Saiyan like your friend. It would be best if you headed to Guru’s,” the Elder said before entering one of the huts.

“That must be Kakarot’s brat and his friend. Kakarot will not be far behind them,” Vegeta muttered before the Elder returned with the giant golden orb.

“Thank you, Elder. We will do all we can to defeat Frieza and restore all that has been lost,” I said with a kind smile as one of the warrior Namekians stepped toward us, and I secured the Dragon Ball in my tail.

“I will escort you to Guru’s,” the Namekian said before the three of us took to the air.

The flight across the planet was mostly uneventful, except we had to dodge a large group of my brother’s troops. I sensed Dodoria in the middle of a fight before his power signature suddenly vanished. I glanced over at Vegeta with a vicious smirk.

“It seems that Dodoria met his end at the hand of one of Kakarot’s friends,” I said calmly.

“I think it was his son,” Vegeta corrected before a troop of Frieza’s men surrounded us, led by Zarbon.

“Lord Frieza…I have some news. It seems that Princess Tundra is working with Vegeta and a Namekian, and they have a Dragon Ball,” Zarbon spoke into his scouter.

“Damn you, Zarbon!” I screamed as I launched an energy beam at the soldiers, killing them apart from Zarbon himself.

“Tundra, go with the Namekian. I’ll handle Zarbon,” Vegeta growled as his tail lashed about.

“You better, Vegeta,” I whispered before taking off with our guide.

A while later, I turned when I sensed Vegeta’s ki fade to almost nothing. I yearned to go back and tear Zarbon apart for his crimes, but I had to get to the next Dragon Ball. Frieza would likely keep Vegeta alive so I could break his ship apart, rescue him, and then grab the Dragon Balls. My guide led me to a single hut on top of a rock. There was a short, bald earthling and a half-Saiyan child already there.
They both tensed up and charged attacks at my presence.

“Peace. I come meaning no harm. I am here with the same goal as you. I want to stop my older brother from murdering this world to obtain these Dragon Balls. I have just lost my only ally in my fight,” I said calmly, if a bit coldly.

“Wait…we just sensed Vegeta go down. Are you talking about him?” the bald one asked.

“Yes, I am talking about Prince Vegeta. I am Princess Tundra, but call me Tundra. I hate what my brother does and his thoughtless murdering of entire planets,” I said as I looked up at the planet’s three suns.

“Why aren’t you like Frieza?” the child asked.

“I am merely a pretty face to his brutality,” I said as another Namekian called us into the hut.

Inside, a large ancient Namekian was resting on what could pass as a throne in this world. I could sense his weakening ki caused by the stress of my brother’s attack. I walked forward and knelt before the Namekian.

“Elder Namekian. I humbly apologize for the crimes my brother is committing against your people. I am doing my best to stop him, but I fear my efforts are in vain. Your world is beautiful and does not deserve to be destroyed, as he will surely do once he has gained his wish of immortality. I know you will not likely help me because of my race, but I ask that you please give me the Dragon Ball so that he does not come here,” I pleaded while kneeling before the Namekian.

“I see that you are pure of heart, child. You are not the weapon that your family wants you to be. Step closer, and I will unlock your potential. And you two as well,” the Elder said as he looked at the earthling and the child. “You will need it in the coming fight against the Tyrant.”

I stood up and walked toward the Namekian elder with the bald earthling and the half-Saiyan. The Elder placed his hand on my head, and I felt something profound within me release before power surged through me. I glanced at the half-Saiyan and saw a white aura surrounding him. I stepped away from the Elder and watched as he repeated the ritual with the earthling.

“My name is Gohan, and that is Krillin,” the child said after a moment as we watched the earthling.

“I wish we could have met under better circumstances, Gohan,” I said with a trace of a smile as the Elder finished the ritual with Krillin.

“You seem nice,” Gohan said quietly as the Elder pulled the Dragon Ball down from the top of his chair and handed it to me.

“Thank you, Elder Namekian. I will protect this with my life,” I said, securing it in my tail.

“I know you will. Now hurry. Darkness taints these lands,” the elder urges.

“C’mon. You can come with us to our hideout,” Krillin said before we left the hut and took off for the other side of the planet with a Namekian child.

Chapter Text

~VEGETA’S POV~

I slowly became aware of Zarbon’s voice screaming at the medical staff outside my tank. I suppressed my power levels so no one would realize I was awake and listening to them speak about me and Tundra.

“I am afraid, Lord Zarbon, that the damage you did to him in your fight may be irreversible. Vegeta may never come out of that tank,” I heard the lead doctor stammer to Zarbon.

“That isn’t good enough! If Vegeta does not recover, you all die! Either by my hand or at Lord Frieza’s! Vegeta is the only one who knows where Tundra went with that Dragon Ball! It is my head if he does not wake up!” Zarbon screamed before storming out.

Not long after that, the medical staff left, leaving me alone in the med bay. I broke out of the tank, causing an explosion and kicking the alarms into action. I ran out of the med bay and sent an energy blast toward the engine room to draw everyone there. I hid as Frieza flew past in his chair with Zarbon before I made a mad dash to the bridge, killing as many of his men as possible. I grinned in victory when I found that Frieza had four Dragon Balls. I shattered the glass with an energy blast and threw them out in the same general direction to collect later. I sensed that Tundra was holed up on the other side of the planet with Kakarot’s friends and brat. I shot out of the ship in the direction of the Dragon Balls. Tundra’s energy began moving in my direction, along with the power of Kakarot’s brat and one of his friends. The trio flew up to me as I reached the first Dragon Ball. Sheer relief colored Tundra’s expression when she saw me.

"Thank the stars that you were able to make it out, Vegeta,” Tundra said as she hovered closer.

“Of course, Tundra. I’m not weak enough to let those fools get the drop on me for long,” I said proudly. “But you should know. They are planning to kill you now.”

“Not if I kill them first,” Tundra said with a grin.

“Um… Tundra, Vegeta? I sense an evil ki headed this way. We need to hurry and find the rest of the balls on the radar,” the brat said before I noticed the small device in his hand.

“What is that?” I demanded.

“The human with them invented a device to detect the Dragon Balls. It is quite ingenious,” Tundra said, awe in her voice before her expression turned to anger. “That’s Zarbon, and he seems desperate.”

“He’s under orders to capture both of us alive and the Dragon Balls as well, or Frieza will kill him,” I said with a grin.

“Well…I best leave you to your fun. I know you owe Zarbon for his years of torture. I will guard these two,” Tundra said before she snatched up the Dragon Ball we were hovering over and flew off.

Not even a minute later, Zarbon flew into view and tackled me to the ground before he ripped into his more monstrous form. He grinned as I kicked him away and picked myself up.

“Frieza called the Ginyu Force. You, Princess Tundra, and the rest of your little band of allies are done for, Vegeta,” Zarbon growled out.

“You underestimate me and Tundra, Zarbon. Tundra is more than a pretty face, and I have fought more on the frontlines of Frieza’s empire in the last five years than you have done since the destruction of my planet! You’ve done nothing but grow fat on the victory of others!” I snarled before I charged forward, energy charging in my hand.

I plunged my hand through Zarbon’s chest before he could even react, relishing the feeling of his blood splattering on my face. I grinned at his shocked expression before I let the energy in my hand explode, annihilating him. After destroying one of my tormentors, I felt much more relaxed, but I remembered that he said the Ginyu Force had been called. I flew after Tundra’s energy and found them just as they picked up the third Dragon Ball.

“Zarbon is dead. However, the Ginyu Force has been called. We need to hurry and hide,” I said urgently as Tundra handed me the Dragon Ball.

“Here. I can only carry two in my tail,” Tundra said.

“The last one isn’t far,” the brat announced before taking off.

The hunt for the last Dragon Ball was eventless compared to everything happening since Tundra and I landed on this planet. We quickly gathered up the ball and flew to the hideout that Kakarot’s brat and his bald friend had been using. Once we were there, I learned they had the last of the Dragon Balls before Tundra met them at that Elder’s hut. We settled in to wait for Kakarot as the brat, baldy, and blue-haired woman seemed to think he would be there before the Ginyu Force arrived. Tundra settled down to meditate, and I sat down next to her. I brushed my tail worriedly along the length of hers as I thought about how we would survive our experience on this planet.

~TUNDRA’S POV~

After a while, I felt six potent energies approaching the planet, although one was lagging a bit behind the other five and coming from a different direction. I stood up as my tail slammed against the floor of the hut we were holed in.

“The Ginyu Force will be here in a matter of minutes. We need not be here where they land,” I said quickly as Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin stood up.

“We’ve got to lead them away from the Dragon Balls. We don’t even know how to summon the Namekian Dragon yet,” Gohan said before he shot out of the door and out of the cave we had been hiding in, with the rest of us hot on his heels.

“Wait a minute, brat! Don’t you remember what Tundra and I have been telling you?” Vegeta snarled.

“That the Ginyu Force is Frieza’s most powerful and deadly elite force,” Krillin said nervously.

“Precisely. We must be careful. Kakarot will be here soon. Let Vegeta and I handle Ginyu and his goons. You two stay back unless we need help,” I ordered, taking on my role as Princess.

Our group flew across the planet towards the remains of Frieza’s ship, where Ginyu and his men landed in their pods. As we flew, I shifted into my final form and kept my power suppressed to what it was in my first form. The rest of the group was startled at my sudden change, and I turned on them as my now pale silver tail whipped back and forth.

“What? Did you all think that you could change your power levels? Mine and Frieza’s are in the millions at the height of our power…and Frieza’s far surpasses my own. He has a form that looks like this, but his purple biogems and white body, unlike my cyan gems and silver body tone,” I said worriedly. “We’ve never accurately measured each other’s power levels before.”

“We’ll have to kill him before he overpowers us,” Vegeta says confidently. “After we kill Ginyu and his band of goons.”

“Ginyu is the most dangerous. He’s a body stealer, and that’s not even his original body,” I warned before the Ginyu force set upon us.

I curled my lip at the disgusting display that Ginyu and his men put on as they made their intro. The rest of the group looked disturbed.

“Spare me your theatrics, Ginyu. What does Frieza want?” I said dismissively.

“I’m afraid that Lord Frieza has declared you an enemy of the state, Princess Tundra, with a Kill-on-Sight order, and anyone seen aiding you—a shame. You look quite beautiful in this form,” Ginyu said sadly, leering at me.

“You will never get in my bed, you lecherous pig,” I snarled as my tail whipped back and forth while Vegeta’s tail bristled in anger.

“We’ll see,” Ginyu said before I charged a beam and fired it at the little green four-eyed freak, killing him instantly.

“Just for insurance. I knew he had that little time-stopping ability and psychic powers—no need to get involved. In a dual 2-on-1,” I said with a grin.

“Smart, Princess,” Ginyu said as he crossed his arms.

“I’ll take on the tall purple idiot that’s friends with the red idiot with the white mullet. You handle the brute and Ginyu,” Vegeta said eagerly. “I owe Jeice for a broken tail from four years ago.”

“Have at,” I said with a grin before the two of us charged at our targets.

After struggling, I took down Recoome by piercing his chest with my tail while suppressing my power levels. My arm had been broken in the fight, and the beast managed to break my tail before he died and collapsed on top of it. I bit my lower lip and kicked his corpse away, freeing my tail while biting back a scream of agony. Meanwhile, Vegeta had Krillin step in him in his fight with Jeice and Burter. Jeice had gone down quickly enough by Vegeta charging up a Gallick Gun, but both were severely hurt. Gohan had hidden behind his rock during the fight but was ready to assist me. I suddenly sensed an energy rocketing in our direction before a humanoid alien seemingly appeared next to Gohan.

“Gohan!” the man said, sounding relieved.

“Dad! You’ve finally arrived!” Gohan said as he hugged the man.

“You must be the Saiyan, Kakarot. I have heard a lot about you,” I said calmly as Vegeta finished off Burter with a roar.

“Her name is Tundra. She and Vegeta are on our side,” Krillin said as he flew over to Kakarot.

“About time you arrived, Kakarot,” Vegeta hissed as Kakarot handed the three of us beans of some sort.

“Senzu beans!” Krillin yelled happily before eating his, and his wounds were healed in seconds.

“Eat them. They’ll restore your energy, heal your wounds, and maybe even make you stronger,” Kakarot said calmly. “And thank you for helping.”

“Couldn’t hurt any more than we already are,” I said with a shrug before I ate the small bean I had been given.

All my wounds were healed within seconds, including my broken tail and arm. I grinned in victory as I whipped my tail around and made a rude gesture to Ginyu that he would understand. After that, the look on his face made the pain almost worth it, as did Vegeta’s genuine laughter after ingesting his Senzu bean. I turned to face Ginyu and fired a death beam that was immediately reflected.

~VEGETA’S POV~

I watched in horror as Tundra’s blast was reflected with a slap of Ginyu’s hand. I knew that Tundra had been heavily suppressing her power so far during the war on Namek, but I hadn’t realized that she had been repressing her ability that much. Kakarot jumped in when Ginyu charged an energy blast and threw it back at Kakarot. Kakarot used strength and agility that he did not have in our fight back on Earth to take down Ginyu quickly. It was a close fight, but I could tell that Kakarot was holding back much power and was desperate to get a chance to use it. Ginyu could tell, too. Kakarot had been on the losing end of the fight and could hardly move as Ginyu charged up a blast in his mouth.

“Move, Kakarot!” Tundra yelled before she scooped up a frog and threw it between Kakarot and the energy blast.

Gohan and Krillin laughed as Ginyu’s body behaved like a frog. So, what Tundra said about Ginyu being about to steal bodies is true. Kakarot looked on dumbly, trying to comprehend what he had just witnessed. Tundra and I walked over to notice Ginyu-frog hopping around on the ground.

“Well, Ginyu… I always dreamed of the day I could kill you, and now I have that chance. Now it is time for the Legendary Ginyu Force’s final requiem,” Tundra said mockingly as she pointed a finger at the Ginyu-Frog, clearly relishing in the horror that crossed Ginyu’s face.

“End it, Tundra,” I hissed a second before she fired an energy blast, turning Ginyu-frog into a smear on the face of the planet.

“That was cathartic,” Tundra said as she stretched and looked at Kakarot. “Do you have any more of those magic beans of yours? You certainly need one, Kakarot.”

“No. I gave you and Vegeta the last two that I had,” Kakarot said with a hiss of pain.

“What are we going to do about Dad?” Gohan asked as he started fretting over Kakarot’s injuries.

“The medical bay on Frieza’s ship should be restored after I blew it to bits. We’ll take him there. Frieza’s on the other side of the planet right now. And the Dragon Balls are stashed fairly close to Frieza’s ship,” I said as I turned up my nose before going to help Kakarot.

The group flew to Frieza’s ship quickly. Once in the med bay, Kakarot had a panic attack at the sight of a needle, to which Tundra slapped him upside the head with her tail. She walked over to the medical pod and started typing on the console.

“This is what you’ll be using. It’s an older model, so it’ll take a bit longer, considering Vegeta destroyed the other one,” Tundra said as Krillin and I set Kakarot into place in the pod.
Krillin hovered as I connected all the wires and placed the mask over Kakarot’s face. As we stepped out of the pod, Tundra typed on the console. Gohan watched anxiously as the door silently slid shut and the pod filled with fluid.

“Is he going to be okay?” the child asked as Kakarot drifted off to sleep.

“He’ll be fine soon, Gohan. That fluid is artificial Saiyan DNA created to enhance healing and boost your Zenkais. Your father is going to come out of that pod healthy and stronger than ever before,” Tundra said calmly, trying to calm the child.

“Ok, Tundra,” Krillin said, relaxing.

“Let’s raid this ship’s armory. You two need actual armor when we go against Frieza, and Tundra and I need new armor as well,” I said before leading the group to the armory just down the hall from the med bay.

Once in the armory, I tossed sets of armor and undersuits at Gohan and Krillin before getting a new armor set for myself. Tundra disappeared into a side closet as the other two quickly donned the undersuits but looked at the armor incredulously.

“How are we supposed to put this on?” Krillin asked.

“It stretches to accommodate warriors that can change size. You saw an example of this on your planet when I turned into a Great Ape,” I said simply before I pulled my armor on and adjusted it.

“Oh yeah…I vaguely remember seeing that, then I blacked out,” Gohan said before he pulled on his armor.

As the two adjusted their armor and pulled on their accompanying boots and gloves, Tundra stepped out of the closet she disappeared into in her royal armor with a cyan cape hanging from her shoulders. A crest different from the one that she used to wear for the Empire was emblazoned on the left side of her chest.

“Is it wise to wear that?” I asked.

“It will anger Frieza greatly. And it will show him who ran the empire. Plus, as the armor of the royal family, it makes me a bigger target but provides me with greater protection,” Tundra explained.

“I get it. As the strongest of us, you want to draw Frieza’s fire so the rest of us can attack him while he’s distracted,” Krillin explained.

“Not exactly, but well said. Let’s go check on Kakarot,” Tundra said before walking back into the med bay.

Tundra and I settled against Kakarot’s medical pod to wait and regain our lost energy. Kakarot’s magic beans didn’t restore that. Tundra quickly fell asleep as we had little chance for rest on this planet since we’d been doing nothing but fighting, hunting, or running for our lives since our arrival here. Not to mention that the three suns screwed with a person’s internal clock. I gently traced my tail along her right arm as I watched her out of pure concern.

“You seem worried for her,” Krillin said suddenly, breaking the silence and causing heat to rise to my face.

“Silence, or I’ll kill you,” I snarled as I glared at him at Gohan as exhaustion overtook me.

“Yeesh, Vegeta. I’m not trying to start a fight, and I’m just saying that you’ve changed since we fought on Earth,” Krillin said as he raised his hands in surrender.

“Perhaps I have. Tundra and I have bonded while training on the journey to this planet. She is far different from the rest of the Cold Family,” I said before yawning.

“Take a nap, Vegeta,” Gohan said confidently before I drifted off.

Chapter Text

~KRILLIN’S POV~

Gohan and I watched as Vegeta finally fell asleep against Goku’s tank. Tundra had already been sleeping for about 30 minutes or so. We waited for a few minutes before I spoke up.

“We should go grab Bulma and Dende and make the wishes while they’re asleep,” I said, startling Gohan.

“Shouldn’t we wait for them?” Gohan asked uncertainly.

“We don’t know what they might try to wish for. Tundra and Vegeta could be trying to play us to take over Frieza’s empire. We need to wish Piccolo back and restore Kami and Earth’s Dragon Balls,” I whispered urgently.

“But I don’t think that Guru would have given Tundra the Dragon Ball if he had sensed any deception,” Gohan said as he looked at his dad floating in the tank.

“We need to hurry,” I said before flying out of the ship with Gohan.

We quickly returned to the cave where Bulma had been hiding with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Bulma looked terrified but happy, and so did Dende.

“Krillin, Gohan! Where’s Goku? We saw his ship,” Bulma said desperately.

“Dad is in a healing pod. He was down to his last three senzu beans when he got here, and he gave them to Krillin, Vegeta, and Tundra because they were badly hurt,” Gohan explained worriedly.

“We need to make our wish now before Tundra and Vegeta wake up from their nap and find us,” I said before we began gathering the Dragon Balls.

A few minutes later, we landed far away and arranged the Dragon Balls as Dende instructed. He spoke in the Namekian language and summoned the dragon. The two talked for a moment.

“Porunga can grant three wishes, but he can only bring one person back to life per wish. And he cannot bring someone back from the Otherworld in the same wish,” Dende revealed.

“Revive Piccolo, then bring him here to this spot,” Bulma said as she pointed to the ground beside her.

“For the third wish, fully restore everyone on the planet fighting against Frieza and his army,” Gohan added before Dende nodded and turned to the dragon.

He spoke the first wish to the dragon, Porunga, and after Porunga’s eyes glowed for a moment, Porunga replied. Dende smiled brightly and made our second wish for us just before Gohan, and I felt Vegeta and Tundra’s ki spike before they raced toward us. As they arrived, Piccolo appeared, and Porunga spoke to Dende.

“So, you thought you could steal all the wishes,” Vegeta hissed.

“We were gonna make a wish that benefited you, Vegeta,” I shouted as the dragon seemingly crystallized and blew away like dust.

Dende’s eyes filled with tears as he dropped to his knees before the useless round stones. Gohan kneeled next to Dende and hugged him.

“What just happened?” Tundra whispered.

“The creator of the Namekian Dragon Balls just died, taking the power of the Dragon Balls with him,” Piccolo said grimly before Tundra suddenly looked up at a massive energy headed in our direction.

“Frieza is headed our way. Shit, and I think he is already in his final form,” Tundra said, looking a bit terrified.

“Damn. We’ll have to hold him off until Kakarot comes out of his pod,” Vegeta growled as he clenched his fists just before an alien similar to but differently colored than Tundra landed in front of us.

“Bulma… run as fast as you can and take Dende. Head for Dad’s ship,” Gohan whispered as Tundra glared hatefully at the other alien.

“Frieza,” Tundra hissed as her tail slammed against the ground.

“Imagine my sorrow, Little Sister, when Zarbon reported that you were working with a monkey! Why I had to report that directly to Father,” Frieza said gleefully. “He’s asked that I bring in his daughter and the monkey, then destroy this pathetic planet after getting my wish.”

“It’s too late for wishing, Frieza! The Dragon Balls have died!” Tundra said, grinning in victory as she motioned to the stones. “We got the last wishes. You’re out of luck.”

“You what?!” Frieza yelled before calming down. “Well then. I don’t think Father will mind if I kill everyone here. Especially since it was by his order that you were declared an enemy of the empire, Little Sister.”

“Try me,” Tundra yelled before ripping off her cape.

“You could never compare to my power. None of you could,” Frieza said confidently before Tundra and Vegeta began powering up.

Vegeta’s ki maxed out at a small fraction of what Frieza’s currently was, but Tundra’s ki powered up to match Frieza’s. I doubted it would do much against him as that seemed to be Tundra’s full power, and Frieza seemed to be holding back almost all his power.

~VEGETA’S POV~

Tundra and I stood shoulder to shoulder as we faced Frieza and charged our energy. Frieza sent an energy blast over our heads to prevent the human woman and the Namek child from getting away. Tundra snarled and threw an energy blast at Frieza that he caught and dispersed. I charged forward and started punching Frieza with my energy-charged fists as Tundra began charging a powerful attack. Kakarot’s Namek friend, Krillin, and Gohan leaped into battle alongside me. Krillin used his energy disc to block attacks that Frieza attempted to throw at Tundra. Frieza growled as he charged his energy just a tiny bit more. Tundra snarled as energy from her attack began crackling in the air.

“Fuck you and the Empire, Frieza! FROZEN THUNDER!” Tundra yelled before she launched her fully empowered attack.

We all watched her attack electrocuted Frieza, causing his energy to spike. I was dimly aware of Kakarot’s energy spiking and racing toward us. The power of Tundra’s attack faded away, leaving Frieza scorched and scuffed up but otherwise fine. On the other hand, Tundra was panting as she had channeled her full power into that attack.

“Sorry, Little Sister, you’re simply too weak to beat me,” Frieza said confidently before launching a barrage of finger beams at us.

We were all thrown back by Frieza’s attack. Tundra managed to deflect one that would have struck me in the heart and killed me. Just as we all landed in the dirt, Kakarot landed between Frieza and us. The Namek child set about healing our wounds as Kakarot fought Frieza. Kakarot’s power far eclipsed Tundra’s after his Zenkai boost from healing in the med bay. However, when he landed a hit, his power skyrocketed for the briefest of moments, so quickly that it was almost impossible to catch if you weren’t paying close attention to the battle. Tundra looked at me and nodded. So, she had noticed it, too. Kakarot was likely using that power-boosting technique from our war on Earth. Frieza started increasing his power more and more as Kakarot started looking desperate. Finally, Kakarot managed to kick Frieza away and started charging up an attack like I’d never seen before. I felt my energy being drawn up into the orb that was growing. Oddly enough, Frieza didn’t seem to be able to sense it.

“A spirit bomb,” Krillin whispered.

“Frieza can’t sense it,” Tundra said anxiously.

“We need to distract Frieza while Goku charges that. He’s desperate to be using that. Gohan, take Bulma and Dende, and get as far away as you can,” the Namek ordered before he charged in with Tundra, Krillin, and me behind him.

The four of us protected Kakarot as he charged his attack. Kakarot looked quite relieved at the four of us aiding him. I sneered when I was thrown back toward him. At one point, I heard Tundra’s cry of pain as a death beam from Frieza sliced off her tail. After more intense fighting, Kakarot had finally readied his attack.

“Hit the deck!” Kakarot shouted before launching his attack at Frieza as we all threw ourselves to the dirt.

I watched as the attack landed squarely on Frieza. Even though Frieza tried to push it back, it forced him into the planet’s ocean before it detonated, lighting the world up in blue brilliance. Nothing was left but a crater in the sea when the light faded. The water filled the crater, and Kakarot and the Namek disappeared in the explosion. Tundra weakly landed on the rock next to me after flying over from wherever she landed. Krillin and Gohan landed on the rock a minute later as we scanned the water. Suddenly, the Namek burst out of the water, dragging Kakarot with him.

“I don’t sense Frieza. He’s gone,” Tundra said. “He’s gone.”

“I can’t believe you did it, Dad!” Gohan said as he hugged Kakarot tightly.

“For so long, I lived under that tyrant’s thumb. Now I am free and don’t know what to do now,” I said as I looked at Tundra.

“Why not come to Earth and settle down?” Kakarot asked before Krillin started whimpering.

“G-Goku…” Krillin whimpered as he pointed to the top of the pile of rocks behind us.

We all turned to look at what he was pointing at to see a badly beaten and panting Frieza standing there. Frieza pointed his finger at me and charged a death beam before firing. Tundra shoved me out of the way and took the beam in her chest, and she collapsed. I knelt on the ground beside her as she began coughing up blood. Kakarot’s eyes widened as he crawled over next to her.

“V-Vegeta, K-Kakarot. You two need to know. F-Frieza is the one that d-destroyed Planet Vegeta, not an asteroid. He only told me recently while you were in that tank, Vegeta,” Tundra said as she coughed up blood before she gripped the front of Kakarot’s gi.

“Save your strength, Tundra. We can get you to Dende to heal you,” I begged.

“I won’t last that long, and Kakarot needs to know,” Tundra said shakily.

“I need to know what?” Kakarot asked, suspicious.

“A Saiyan that looked like you stood alone against Frieza as he tried to protect Planet Vegeta from destruction. He was known as Bardock,” Tundra said shakily. “You look just like him, except he had a scar.”

“Tundra, save your strength like Vegeta said,” Kakarot begged as Tundra revealed information I never knew.

Suddenly, a second death beam pierced her throat, finally killing her. Blind rage overtook me and started clouding my mind. Frieza had just killed the one thing I had come to care for since he destroyed my planet and murdered my people.

~GOHAN’S POV~

I watched in shock as Frieza ruthlessly killed his sister after she told Dad and Vegeta that my Saiyan grandfather stood alone, trying to defend their home planet against Frieza’s attack. After Tundra died, Vegeta began shaking with pure rage as his ki began surging. Suddenly, Krillin was lifted into the air by Frieza’s power, screaming for help before he exploded as I gripped Piccolo’s leg in fear. Then Dad started shaking in the same rage that had Vegeta in its grip. The planet seemed to want to tear itself apart as they stood up and roared angrily; their auras flared gold. Dad’s hair stood up and turned blonde as Vegeta’s hair turned the same color. Both of their eyes had turned a pale teal color. Terror gripped Frieza’s face as he took in the sight of them both. Dad and Vegeta were giving Frieza identical looks of cold rage.

“No…the legend is true, but there are two of you!” Frieza yelled.

“Piccolo, take Gohan and Tundra back to my ship. It’s not too far from here. Once you get there, take the ship and get as far away as possible,” Dad ordered.

“But Dad-“ I began before Vegeta interrupted me.

“Boy, get out of here. This fight is no longer in your league,” Vegeta snapped as Piccolo carefully scooped up Tundra’s body.

Piccolo and I flew as fast as we could to Dad’s ship. I turned to see the sky light up like it was on fire. I whimpered in fear for my dad and Vegeta.

“Gohan… we need to go,” Piccolo said before I followed him.

~GOKU’S POV~

Frieza went to fire a blast at Piccolo and Gohan as they flew away with Tundra’s body. Vegeta took offense to that as he charged at Frieza and crushed his hand faster than the tyrant could even blink, let alone finish charging the blast. Frieza scrambled to get away from him, but Vegeta threw him away and fired a shot of his own at Frieza. I followed up with a ki barrage of my own.

“Ah, this feels nice Kakarot. Almost makes me wish that you had been on my squad,” Vegeta said with a smirk.

“No thanks. But we will make a wish on Earth now that the Earth Dragon Balls are active again. You and Tundra will be welcome there. You two can train with me and the guys sometime. I’m kinda outpacing everyone,” I said as I grinned back at him.

“Perhaps. Let’s kill Frieza first,” Vegeta said before Frieza suddenly launched a barrage of ki blasts at us.

The two of us let our ki auras flare out to protect us from the full effect of the blasts. Unfortunately, Vegeta’s armor was shattered, and Frieza’s barrage tore off the rest of my shirt. Vegeta began charging his ki to its maximum as he formed a Gallick Gun, and I did the same to create a Kamehameha as the smoke started to clear. Frieza’s white face seemed to pale even further. The two of us launched our attacks, and they merged into a single purple-blue beam of energy. Frieza screamed in pain as the energy beam seemingly erased him before curving off into space. Suddenly, the Namekians were brought back to life. The dragon suddenly reformed across the planet as the planet suddenly began to break apart.

“Damn, Frieza! He launched a planet killer when no one was looking!” Vegeta was looking.

Vegeta and I weren’t close enough to hear what the last wish was, not that we would have been able to understand anyway since only people fluent in the Namekian language could make a wish. I blinked at the pair being on Namek one second, then the two of us being surrounded by short aliens the next.

~TUNDRA’S POV~

I suddenly woke up with a gasp. Bulma placed a hand on my shoulder and looked at me with a kind smile before helping me sit up.

“Take it easy. The Earth’s Dragon Balls just brought you back, which normally makes everyone a bit dizzy,” Bulma said with a smile.

“What happened after I died?” I asked as I looked at Piccolo and Gohan.

“Frieza killed Krillin. Dad and Vegeta got angry about you dying, and then they turned to gold. It was awesome but scary,” Gohan said as I tried to stand.

“I need to go help them,” I groaned as I tried to stand up.

“You can’t. Their battle is beyond your league. We’ll have no way to revive you now if you die again,” Piccolo said flatly.

Suddenly, we were all on a planet I had never seen before, and we seemed to be surrounded by the entire population of Planet Namek. My eyes widened as I immediately searched for the Namekian Elder.

“Elder, what has happened here? Where are the Saiyans Kakarot and Vegeta?” I asked, worried for them both but mostly worried for Vegeta.

“Guru!” several Namekians cried out before the elder held a hand up to silence them.

“The two Saiyans won their fight against the Tyrant and have killed him, but at the cost of our planet. I had them sent to a different planet to learn different skills to face greater foes in the future. Moori, come forward, please,” Guru said, calling another Namekian forward. “I name you as the new Grand Elder so that the Dragon Balls of our people will survive. Help those who saved us, then move our people to a hidden world.”

“Of course, Guru. I will do my best to follow your teachings,” Moori said before Guru passed over the power of the Dragon Balls to him.

“Nail, I want you to stay here and fuse with the Namekian Piccolo. These are good people, and he would greatly benefit from your power,” Guru said calmly, his energy fading.

“Yes, Guru,” a young Namekian said as he bowed his head.

“Goodbye, my children,” Guru said as his energy faded.

His body faded before our eyes and dissolved into light. The Namekians started wailing their grief, and Bulma chatted on some small device. A while later, several odd-looking transports descended on our location.

“Hey, everyone?!” Bulma called out, grabbing the attention of the Namekian populace. “I’ve got a place you can all stay until you can restore your planet, and these transports will take you there.”

“Thank you, Miss,” Moori said with a sad smile as he took Bulma’s hand.

“You can stay with me too, Tundra,” Bulma said as the Namekians loaded onto the transports, along with Piccolo and Gohan. “At least until we get something else figured out for you.”

“Thank you, Bulma,” I said as I boarded the ship with her, Piccolo, and Gohan.

We landed peacefully at what Bulma explained was her residence and that she would happily house the Namekians until they could make themselves a new planet and move there. She had also said she would accommodate me, but I insisted that I work for her as one of her scientists. She seemed ecstatic about having me work for her. When we landed at her compound, a small group awaited us. Gohan was immediately snatched up by a woman I could only assume was his mother as she started screeching about his safety.

“Oh, my precious Gohan! I’m so glad that you’re okay!” the woman screeched as Gohan tried to squirm away.

“Mom! Let me go!” Gohan complained as everyone began dispersing from the ships to get comfortable.

“Chichi, maybe you should let him go before you kill him. We don’t have any active Dragon Balls at the moment,” Bulma said as she arched an eyebrow.

“Where’s Goku? Where is my husband?” the woman, Chichi, demanded.

“Kakarot was sent to another planet, along with Vegeta, in the last seconds before Namek’s destruction, just as we were all sent here, Miss,” I said as I crossed my arms, my cut tail swishing behind me.

“You mean Vegeta was there?!” ChiChi screeched.

“He protected me, Mom! Vegeta and Tundra wouldn’t let me do any fighting unless it was needed,” Gohan said quickly, trying to calm his mother.

“There was a worse monster on Namek. Frieza was tearing the planet apart and ultimately killed me. Vegeta protected your son from the same fate I suffered by ordering him away before I was resurrected. I would rethink your position on the honor of Saiyan Warriors, seeing as how you are the wife of one and bringing about the next generation,” I snarled. “Kakarot and Vegeta are the last pure-blooded Saiyans left in the Universe. And you are lucky enough to be married to one. Especially now that they have both gone Super Saiyan.”

“Bulma…where’s Krillin?” a short bald human with eye coverings asked.

“Frieza killed him after he killed her,” Bulma said as she pointed to me.

“Her death and Krillin’s death were the catalysts for Goku and Vegeta turning Super Saiyan. They killed Frieza in a combined attack before we were teleported here with the last wish from the Namekian Dragon Balls,” Piccolo said.

“You won’t fight anymore, right, Gohan? Just like you promised before you left?” Chichi said forcibly.

“But I liked training, Mom,” Gohan complained with a pout as he squirmed out of her arms. “I can have a balance.”

A couple of days after our return to Earth, I helped Bulma and her father build a medical pod as I wished to restore my tail. After giving Bulma a drive on every aspect of Saiyan culture that I had collected to preserve as a gift for Vegeta, I stepped inside and was hooked up to the wiring within the machine, and a mask was placed over my face. A week later, I stepped out of it with my tail fully restored and longer than before, perhaps slightly slimmer. Four months after our return, we used the Namekian Dragon Balls to try and summon Kakarot and Vegeta to Earth, except they did not want to return. They had passed a message through Porunga that they would rather keep training for a bit longer. Instead, we used the first two wishes to revive Krillin, and after a bit of debate in the Otherworld, the third wish was used to restore Krillin and another human named Yamcha. With my help, Bulma’s company made giant technological leaps. We had even vastly improved the concept of the gravity chamber that had been in Kakarot’s ship. This chamber could go up to 600 times Earth’s gravity instead of the 100 that the gravity machine on Kakarot’s ship had been capable of. As the months passed, Gohan frequently snuck out of his home to train with Piccolo, according to Chichi and Bulma. During one of Gohan’s excursions, he came to see me for training. Though surprised, I happily complied with the boy. From then on, I occasionally trained with Gohan, Piccolo, and the humans. I trained most with Yamcha as he lived with Bulma and me at Capsule Corps. Four months after Yamcha’s resurrection, the Namekian Dragon Balls were used again. This time, a three-eyed human named Tienshenhan and a doll-like creature named Chiaotzu were resurrected with the first and second wishes. The Namekians created a hidden planet and moved there with the third wish. Once the Namekians were gone, I looked up at the sky longingly as my tail whipped back and forth.

“Don’t worry, Tundra. I’m sure Goku and Vegeta will return before you know it. I can tell by your stories that Vegeta is probably throwing himself into whatever training they are doing right now,” Bulma said as she touched my shoulder.

“I know. I figured that after my death, Vegeta would be training exceptionally hard to prevent that from happening again,” I said with a sigh as we walked inside the main Capsule Corps building.

“Let’s get you a drink and go have a shopping day. You seem like you need some spoiling,” Bulma said as we walked into the elevator, and she swiped her card to the private residential floors at the top of the building.

“Maybe tomorrow. I want to relax for the rest of the day, but thank you,” I said with a faint smile.

“I’m just trying to help a friend,” Bulma said, giving me a quick hug.

Another year passed in much of the same routine, except Yamcha was constantly traveling as he was famous for some Earth sport that I never cared to learn the name of. I was in the middle of a board meeting with Bulma, Dr. Briefs, and several other important people when I felt two terrifying and eerily familiar kis approaching the planet as I spoke. I locked eyes with Bulma as terror filled my body. I sensed the kis of all of the other fighters in the world racing out after the energies, and I had to go after them to stop them from getting killed since I was the strongest on Earth. I pretended to check the phone that Bulma had given me when I arrived for a message.

“Ms. Briefs, it seems our previous engagement has arrived at the building,” I said urgently.

“Well, everyone, we’ll have to reschedule this meeting later. Some old friends of mine and Tundra’s have arrived, and we would like to spend time with them. Dad, if you could reschedule the meeting and let me know later,” Bulma said before she grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the room. “What the hell is going on, Tundra?”

“I think Frieza survived the Battle of Namek. He and Cold are on final approach to the planet,” I said urgently as we ran outside.

“And Goku and Vegeta aren’t back yet,” Bulma whimpered.

“I think I felt traces of their ki this morning. I think they’re working on it,” I said as I grabbed Bulma and slung her onto my back, causing her to yelp.

“Hey! Be careful!” she yelled as she grabbed onto me.

“It’s faster if we fly like this instead of one of your jets,” I said before taking off.

Within minutes, we met up with the other fighters in a wasteland just as Frieza and Cold’s ship broke through the planet’s atmosphere and landed a few miles away. I snarled and handed Bulma off to Piccolo and flew towards the ship faster than everyone else, fully intent on blowing it up before they disembarked, only to be stopped by the sight of a single man with purple hair blasting all the fodder as they came off the ship. The young man appeared to be a teen instead of a true man of human appearance. The rest of the fighters grouped around me as we watched on in shock as first Cold and then a poorly done cyborg version of Frieza disembarked the ship.

“This is the planet, Father, and there is Tundra,” Frieza snarled before he pointed at me, and I merely cackled at his appearance.

“I must say, Big Brother, you looked better when the Saiyans and I beat you bloody! I can do that again and make you look better!” I taunted as I flicked my tail around.

“Tundra dear, it’s time to quit the charade and return to the empire. Face your punishment, and then you will be welcome back into the Family,” Cold said with a smirk.

“Yeah…I’m going to have to stop that,” the young man said before he charged up to Super Saiyan with a roar.

Within a second, Frieza had been wholly obliterated into ash, and Cold had his heart blasted from his chest. As he bled out, I landed before Father, one of my long-time tormentors.

“Tundra…” he gasped as the unknown Saiyan powered down into his base form.

“Sorry…You’ll get no remorse from me. It’s about time I punished you for all the years of torment,” I snarled before I impaled him on my tail, splattering his blood all over my new clothes.

I turned to face the unknown Saiyan as two familiar kis seemingly pulsed into reality. I forgot momentarily that I was still splattered in blood and that my tail was still piercing my father’s corpse when I locked eyes with Vegeta. A light blush crossed his face as he looked me over before the unknown Saiyan walked over to Vegeta and Kakarot. I removed my tail from Cold’s corpse and destroyed it with a ki blast before I flew to where the others had landed.

“Bulma, do you have some water and a change of clothes for me in your magic capsules?” I asked sweetly. “I seem to have gotten a bit of blood on my clothes.”

“I didn’t have a chance to grab my case of emergency capsules before we left. You’ll have to wait until we get home. At least you didn’t lose your tail again or break it,” Bulma said with a smirk as I pouted.
“You’ll get to tease Vegeta with your wardrobe. We’ll have a party later to celebrate them coming back.”

“Hmm. I like that idea with the look he just gave me,” I said wickedly.

I watched as the younger Saiyan charged into Super Saiyan before Vegeta and Kakarot did the same. They continued their talk for a while before the younger Saiyan left towards some rocks. A minute later, a ship was launched into the air before disappearing in the blink of an eye. Kakarot and Vegeta walked over toward us with perplexed looks on their faces.

Notes:

I am so sorry I am so late with the update!! I was in a bad car accident at work on the 30th, which ended up sending me to the ER, and totaling out my car. I've been really stressed out about trying to find a new car. What makes it worse is that I am in college and I start class on the 21st, so trying to car shop between school days and work days is going to be fun. note the sarcasm in that word. But anyway, I'll try to post again on the 18th around 9 pm Chicago time!

~Vegeta's POV~

After Kakarot teleported us to Earth, I was met with the sight of Tundra having her tail running through Cold’s corpse. A Saiyan from the future pulled Kakarot and me aside and told us that a series of androids were set to attack one of the major cities on this planet in a few years and destroy everything. The Saiyan said nothing of his identity, but he did say that it was possible that the event with the androids may not come to pass, as in his past, I had not gone to Yardrat with Kakarot, and Tundra did not exist. The Saiyan had promised to return in three years to aid us with the coming threat. Kakarot and I reunited with the group. My tail swished around lightly before I wrapped it around my waist. Tundra flicked her tail aggressively to get as much of Cold’s blood off of it as she could, though I thought it added to her beauty. Her cheeks tinted purple with the blood of her race as I approached her and pulled her close by her waist.

“I have missed you while I was away, Tundra,” I growled under my breath as I smirked at her, and she smirked back at me.

“I missed you too, Vegeta. I have to say that you look good with gold hair,” Tundra purred as she teased the edges of the Yardratian armor I wore with the tip of her tail.

“Gross. Can we get back to the matter instead of watching you two flirt?” the green man demanded.

“What’s going on? I thought it was cute,” the blue-haired woman said with a pout.

“The other Saiyan brought us a message. In three years, on May 28th, at 10 in the morning, a pair of androids will attack South City. These androids are going to be strong enough to kill everyone here. However, in the other Saiyan’s timeline, Tundra did not exist, nor did I travel to Yardrat, so we may have an advantage or could be screwed,” I explained.

“I’d go find and destroy them now,” Krillin said. “End the threat before it begins.”

“Except for the fact that it may not work. We have no idea where the androids are being built. And trying to stop the attack before it is supposed to happen may lead to something worse,” Tundra said. “You don’t mess with timeline things. It causes a bigger mess than the one we are already in simply because that Saiyan came back here to warn us of the trouble.”

“Our best bet is to train and get as strong as possible. We’ll meet on the cliffs overlooking South City three hours before the attack begins,” Kakarot said firmly.

“I’m not dyin’ again. I’ve done much training over the last year in the new gravity chamber with Tundra,” the scar-faced human with a mullet said flatly, causing me to snarl and clutch Tundra closer.

“Relax, Vegeta. He’s with Bulma, and I broke his arm too many times when he tried to get a feel,” Tundra said confidently.

“Well… Let’s get you two settled in and in some clothes suited for a party,” Bulma said excitedly.

“Wait. How did you two suddenly appear on Earth? We didn’t sense you coming,” the triclops said, looking and sounding confused.

“That was easy. We learned Instant Transmission and a few other things from the planet we were training on,” Kakarot said happily before placing his fingers on his forehead and escaping existence.

A moment later, Kakarot appeared with dark eye coverings on his face, shocking everyone there.

“Those are Master Roshi’s sunglasses,” Krillin said in stunned shock. “He lives over 7000 miles away from here.”

“We tried this morning, but we had to wait to lock onto someone’s ki, then we locked onto Tundra’s ki and that other Saiyan’s ki when they powered up to fight,” Kakarot said as he handed the eye coverings to Krillin.

“Let’s all head out to prepare for the ‘welcome home’ party, guys!” Bulma said before the scar-faced human picked her up and took flight. “It’ll be at my place at seven tonight!”

“C’mon, Vegeta. Bulma has a room set up for you,” Tundra said as she pulled away from me with a wink.

The group went their separate ways to prepare for this party of Bulma’s. Tundra led me into a large city, but to a part of it with a series of domed buildings on the grounds. Tundra landed in front of the largest with the scar-faced human, whose name I had learned was Yamcha during the flight. Bulma climbed out of his arms and led us inside like she owned the place. She walked up to the front desk and spoke to the woman sitting there. Tundra followed her with the grace of the princess that she was.

“What can I do for you, Ms. Briefs, and Ms. Cold?” the woman asked.

“Suri, I need you to set up a party on the residential balcony as soon as possible. Several guests are arriving by 7 o’clock, so everything needs to be set up before then. And we need to quadruple the amount of food as Goku is going to be there, and another person that likely has a similar appetite,” Bulma said calmly as the woman made her notes.

“Of course, Ms. Briefs. Is there anything else?” the young woman asked.

“Plenty of booze. And several gallons of fresh spring water set aside for Piccolo,” Bulma requested.

“I’ll have everything set up. And I’ll call in the stylists and send them up to the residential floors to assist you and the family in getting ready,” the woman said.

“Thank you, Suri. You’re a huge help,” Tundra said with a pleasing smile.

Yamcha looked at me and shrugged. I merely rolled my eyes and curled my lip at him before following the two women into an elevator. Tundra swiped an access card to allow the elevator to reach the residential floors of this building. From the elevator, Tundra led me to the bedroom suite that had been set up and maintained for me, explaining that she had been shopping for clothes while I had been out in space training. After that, she left the room and left me to my own devices.

~BULMA’S POV~

Later that night, I was on the balcony with Yamcha and Vegeta, and I had been introducing Vegeta to samplings of earth food. As it approached 7 o’clock, the rest of the fighters and friends began arriving. After everyone else had arrived, Goku appeared with Chichi and Gohan, using his new teleportation technique. Vegeta was growing impatient as he waited for Tundra to leave the building. A few minutes after Goku’s arrival, Tundra emerged from the building. She wore the mid-thigh length dark dress I had picked out for her, making her natural colors appear more vibrant and accentuating her curves. I had it custom-made for her to account for her tail and physique. Vegeta had been holding a glass of whiskey, and the second he looked at her, he crushed the glass in his hand as a deep blush bloomed across his face.

“Oh fuck,” Vegeta purred as his tail whipped back and forth like he was about to pounce on her, causing her to smirk.

“Down, Vegeta,” Tundra said with a smirk as she placed her hands on her hips.

After that, the party went smoothly, with Goku and Vegeta eating almost all the food. A couple of hours into the party, Vegeta and Tundra disappeared into one of the smaller vacant homes on the property. Goku took his family home, and the rest of the crew took up many of the unoccupied guest rooms in the main Capsule Corps building. It was two days before Vegeta and Tundra had slipped out of Tundra’s room in search of food, acting as if nothing had happened while the pair had been alone as if the bite marks on her pale silver skin or the nasty bruises all over Vegeta’s body didn’t say anything about what they had been up too. I couldn’t blame them. Goku and Chichi had been just as busy, according to Chichi’s text messages and the fact that Piccolo had been training Gohan, even though the kid wanted to see his dad after so long.

Notes:

Sorry about the late update when it was promised this past Friday! Work was hell because there was a sale going on! I was so tired every night after getting home that I just fell asleep after getting home. S/O had to wake me up to get me out of my work clothes one night.

I got my new car. There were a couple of issues with insurance. There was a mechanical issue that the dealership fixed. Everything is resolved now!

I have officially started college classes today, but I will try to loosely keep the same schedule.

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Training Begins, Surprises, and Revelations (edited)

Summary:

The training begins for the impending attack. Surprises happen during the training and heart-to-heart conversations are had.

Chapter Text

~TUNDRA’S POV~

After my two days alone with Vegeta, it was time for us to get to work preparing for the eventual threat. I stretched lazily, rolled onto my side, and studied Vegeta’s profile as he slept before kissing him softly to wake him up.

“Vegeta, darling, it’s time to wake up. We’ve got work to do,” I said sweetly.

“Must we?” Vegeta groaned as he slowly woke up, wrapping his arms and tail around me to pull me closer.

“Unfortunately, yes. I do have something to show you that I think you’ll enjoy greatly,” I said before I wiggled away from him and climbed out of bed. “I will call Kakarot here soon, as this will also help him.”

“Damn you for being so tempting,” Vegeta growled as he followed me out of bed with a predatory smirk, causing me to giggle.

“Now, now, Mr. Prince. We have things to do, and I built things for you to help you get stronger. Don’t you want to see my work?” I teased, arching an eye ridge.

“I suppose I should see what you have been working on since Namek. Very well, my dear,” Vegeta said before we began getting ready for the day.

Two hours later, I stood with Vegeta outside the new gravity chamber. I raised my ki enough to catch Kakarot’s attention. He arched an eyebrow after sensing my strength as I a confidant smirk. A minute later, Kakarot appeared before us in his fighting clothes.

“What’s going on?” Kakarot asked, confused.

“I’ve rebuilt and improved Dr. Brief’s idea of the gravity chamber, as the gravity of my homeworld is much stronger than 100 times the gravity of this planet. Come,” I said before I led the two full-blooded Saiyans inside the chamber.

“What are you saying, darling?” Vegeta asked.

“That I have eased the humans into gravity training. They can only do 25 times at this point, and Gohan and Piccolo can do 50,” I said before smirking at the Saiyans. “I can do 500 on a hard day. I’ve had to push myself as I was the strongest being on Earth, and perhaps I still am.”

“Oh? Ya sure about that?” Kakarot challenged.

“Well, we’ve got Senzu beans. And we just built two more medical pods inside Capsule Corps,” I said with a smirk as I crossed my arms. “I’m sure Bulma won’t mind us testing the equipment.”

“Well then, let’s head out to a wasteland and see just how much power you have hidden under that lovely exterior of yours, darling,” Vegeta said before I opened a cabinet, pulled out a couple of capsules, tossed them to the ground to open them with a small pop.

“That looks like the armor you were wearing on Namek, Tundra,” Kakarot said as she turned her back to us.

“It is of a similar design, but the material is many times stronger than my old armor,” I said simply before changing into it.

Vegeta changed into one of the sets of Saiyan armor. He held a respectful look on his face as he changed. The armor was supposed to look similar to the chest plate of his old set with a reinforced undersuit. He seemed pretty regal in the new armor like the prince he was always meant to be.

“This is much better than what was built for my trip to Namek!” Kakarot shouted.

“Of course. It took months to improve the original design before we built it. It also has small drones and lasers that come out of the walls,” I said as I pulled on the final piece of my armor. “This is just a set of armor that needs to be fully tested. Gohan and Piccolo can’t crack it, and I figured you two might be able to in Super Saiyan.”

“I refuse to go Super Saiyan against you, darling,” Vegeta insisted as he looked at me harshly.

“You say that like I haven’t picked up a little trick of my own recently,” I said before I led the Saiyans out of the chamber and called Bulma on my phone. “Hey, Bulma. I’m taking Kakarot and Vegeta to the desert to train and test the new armor. I will leave my phone in the gravity chamber if you want to grab it before Yamcha goes in there to train.”

“Why did you call that woman?” Vegeta demanded as I set my phone on the ledge inside the gravity chamber door.

“Because I don’t want my phone to get broken again. I’ve gone through 5 of these since Namek,” I said before we all took off into the air.

With that, our three years of harsh training began. Kakarot, Vegeta, and I kicked each other’s asses that first day to test everyone’s limits, strengths, and weaknesses. The armor Vegeta and I were wearing had been completely trashed, and Kakarot’s gi had been shredded in the hours of intense training. After a few weeks of complaints from Bulma and Yamcha about our volume during sex, Vegeta and I moved into the guest house that we had first used when he came back to Earth after Namek after Bulma had rebuilt it to withstand our more destructive tendencies during our fun. He trained relentlessly while I trained with him on the weekend and maintained my job as one of Bulma’s leading scientists and engineers during the week. I had extended an olive branch to Kakarot’s wife after my outburst when they returned. She somewhat seemed to understand, saying that she was only trying to protect her only child and that she was glad that a strong female figure was teaching him more scientific things on the fighting side rather than just martial arts. A few months after Vegeta and I moved in together, I woke up feeling sick without explanation. I could hear Vegeta moving around in the kitchen, so I let my tail fall heavily against the floor to let him know I was awake. Vegeta came into the room with a soft smile before a worried look settled on his face.

“Are you okay, darling?” he asked as he sat on the bed beside me and touched my forehead as if trying to check my temperature.

“No…I think you need to call Bulma. I was supposed to be in the meeting later today and might need her to come to look at me. Maybe get Kakarot to bring Chichi,” I said as I rolled over to curl up on my side.

“Ok, darling. Give me just a few minutes, darling. I’ll make the phone calls and bring you some tea,” Vegeta said before kissing my forehead and leaving the room.

I started drifting off before the door opened quietly. I weakly raised my tail to threaten whoever dared to disturb me.

“It’s OK, Tundra. It’s just me, Chichi. Vegeta called and told me that you weren’t feeling well, and you asked Goku to bring me here,” Chichi said softly, calming me down as she set a tea tray on the nightstand. “The guys just left to go help Bulma. She said that she needed to bring a few things down here to check you over and needed them to carry everything.”

“Yeah. I just woke up feeling sick this morning, and my stomach feels like I want to dig it out with a rusty knife,” I said with a groan as I sat up slowly.

“Hmm…that sounds like what I felt like when I was two months pregnant with Gohan,” Chichi said, causing me to stiffen.

“W-what?” I whispered.

“It is a possibility that you and Vegeta may be having a little one, especially with how rampant in bed you two have been, according to Bulma,” Chichi said simply as I blushed profoundly and covered my face with my hands.

“Oh my god, Chichi, stop! You’re not supposed to know anything about that! You have a clown for a husband!” I whined, now mortified.

“Oh, I have details, like how you and Vegeta like to leave bruises on each other in the shapes of your tails,” Chichi teased.

“I hate you,” I growled under my breath.

“A baby is a wonderful thing, honey. You’re bringing new life into the world!” Chichi said with a smile as she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

“Chi, I’m one of the three strongest beings on this planet. I must train and get stronger to face the incoming threat of the androids in a few years. I can’t be out of commission for as long as it takes me to have a baby and recover,” I said worriedly.

“Look at it this way. Having this child will motivate you and Vegeta to grow stronger,” Chichi said.

“I suppose you’re right,” I said quietly.

After a few minutes of silence, the guys returned carrying several pieces of equipment for Bulma. She directed them where to sit each piece before kicking them out of the house to train with each other. Kakarot was excited about training with Vegeta, as they hadn’t trained together in several weeks. Still, Vegeta protested as he wanted to be here with me as Bulma tried to figure out the source of my illness. Once I had sensed that the guys had flown a few miles away, I spoke up.

“Chichi thinks I might be having a child,” I said flatly, still in disbelief.

“I do, too. You’ve been off the past few days. You ate more than Vegeta in the cafeteria in the main building, and two days ago, you bit off several heads in the board of directors meeting. While that was fun to watch, it worried me as you don’t normally act like that. You’re normally more diplomatic when handling them, and you acted a bit like Frieza would have in that meeting. And from what I know of Chichi’s stories from her pregnancy with Gohan, you’re headed down that same track. From what I could tell from the scans I have during your various stays in the medical pods from hurting yourself in training, your organ systems are remarkably similar to humans and Saiyans. That similarity is what is allowing for this pregnancy,” Bulma said as she turned on the machines.

“Fine,” I said with a pout before Bulma began looking me over with her machines.

I looked at the screens on the machines before speaking to the girls. Fear started clogging my throat as the reality of my situation started setting in.

“I don’t think I can do this… I razed entire solar systems to ash under Frieza’s orders until I finally grew a spine to help the others kill him. I can’t raise a child. Especially not with the coming threat from the Androids,” I said as I started choking up with tears. “I have so much blood on my hands.”

“Oh, honey. You can do this. You and Vegeta will have the two of us, Goku, and the others to help you with this baby. You aren’t alone. No one knows exactly how to raise a child, and that’s just raising a human child. Raising a baby with any alien genetics is a unique experience. You and Vegeta will be raising a fully alien baby on Earth. That alone makes your baby special in a way no one else can claim,” Chichi said calmly as she gently squeezed my hand, soothing me.

“Thank you, Chichi,” I replied as I calmed down significantly.

~VEGETA’S POV~

I was training with Kakarot after the women kicked me out of my home. I was worried about my Tundra and how sick she was when Kakarot landed a punch that launched me into a cliff. As I pulled myself out of the rubble, he came over and gave me a worried look.

“You’re distracted, Vegeta. Is it because of Tundra being sick?” Kakarot asked.

“She has never been sick before. How can she be struck down so suddenly?” I said as we sat down on a rock pillar.
“Well…for one… I might have sensed a ki signature tangled up and buried in hers, but it was so fleeting before her ki hid it from me that I can’t be sure,” Kakarot said. “There are times when women’s kis can be weird.”

“What are you saying, Kakarot?” I demanded.

“I don’t know. Tundra might be having a baby. Her ki is acting quite similar to Chichi’s when she was pregnant with Gohan, except Tundra’s is way bigger. Have you noticed her ki acting funny?” Kakarot asked, giving me a serious look.

“A few times over the last few weeks, her ki seemed to want to fold in on itself, toward her stomach. Those moments almost always corresponded with moments where her powers flickered,” I said cautiously. “Do you think she could be having a child? My child?”

“That probably is what’s going on. The girls would know this stuff better. We will have to wait until they call us,” Kakarot said. “Chi’s probably gonna make a few days of food for you guys, depending on what Tundra wants, to take the stress off you guys and give you a few days to relax and absorb the news.”

“Kakarot…I cannot raise a child. I have done nothing but destroy lives since I was not much older than your boy. I am afraid that I will mess up this child like my father messed up with me, that they will grow up to be a murderer like I am,” I admitted quietly as I sat down on a spire of rock, looking blankly out at the landscape. “And I’ll kill you if you tell anyone.”

“I won’t tell anyone, Vee. And being a parent is all about learning how to raise a baby. We had no clue what we were doing when we had Gohan. We didn’t even have a name picked out when he was born, and Chichi always called her dad in that first year. No one knows how to raise a child immediately, but the first thing you need to know is that you aren’t in this alone. Me and Chi’ will be there to help you both in any way you need and so will Bulma and the others,” Kakarot said with a friendly smile. “Did I ever tell you the story of when Gohan nearly destroyed an apple tree when he was only a year old?”

“Your brat started showing his power at that age?” I asked incredulously as I looked at Kakarot, intrigued by the tale.

Suddenly, Tundra’s ki spiked out of nowhere as if she was alarmed. I charged up my ki to take flight, but Kakarot was faster. He grabbed my arm and teleported to get us directly back to Tundra’s side. Bulma had a small device pressed to Tundra’s stomach that somehow created an image on one of the machines that Kakarot and I carried into the room. All three women were staring at the screen in shock. Kakarot seemed to know what that screen meant because he started grinning. Tundra turned to look at me with tears in her eyes. As I looked at the screen, I saw a small white blob within a much larger black void.

“Tundra, darling, what is going on?” I asked, worried.

“W-we’re gonna have a baby, Vegeta,” Tundra whispered as if she had trouble comprehending the news.

My tail fluffed up in shock, and my eyes widened at her words. I sat on the bed as I tried to absorb the news. Kakarot and the others said their congratulations to us. I never let myself hope or even dream of having a child someday. Kakarot carried Bulma’s equipment out of the bedroom as I was too shocked to be of any use. Bulma ordered Tundra to take the week off work and not to train, or at least train lightly. Once the three of them were gone, I lay in the bed next to Tundra.

“We’re going to have a child of our own, darling,” I whispered as I placed a hand on her lower stomach.

“We are. I would have picked better timing, personally, but Chichi gave a good point in saying that having our child now would be a good motivator for us to get even stronger, so we can better protect them,” Tundra said as she curled up against me and I held her close.

“I will always protect you and our family,” I whispered, kissing her forehead before her stomach seemingly snarled, causing us both to laugh at the abruptness of the action.

“Chichi and Bulma are making us some food. Just stay here with me, my Prince,” Tundra said before she began dozing off.

“Get some rest. You need all the rest you can get, darling,” I said as my tail curled defensively over her stomach.

Chapter 8: Difficult Pregnancy

Summary:

Things happen. Some angst, some fluff. I like to bat characters around as I see fit. And what's this? It seems that Yamcha may have finally truly pissed Bulma off for good this time. We'll get to see what comes of that >:)

Chapter Text

~VEGETA’S POV~

The rest of Tundra’s pregnancy passed with incredible difficulty. She trained with Kakarot and me in the gravity chamber for the first few months of her pregnancy, even though Kakarot was hesitant to touch her. That argument ended with him lying on the floor with a broken jaw. He still took an easier time on her, angering her significantly to the point that she took out her more brutal moves on him. At the midpoint of Tundra’s pregnancy, Bulma had confessed that she had feelings for the two of us, and we honestly felt the same about her. The three of us had a lengthy discussion about whether or not we wanted to be in what these earthlings called a poly-relationship. On Planet Vegeta, there was no word except mating pairs or trios. They were common on my homeworld but seen as taboo on many others. The new relationship between the three of us made managing Tundra and her pregnancy much more effortless as she listened to us more. Not long after Bulma joined our relationship, I found Tundra collapsed in her office one day after I sensed a drop in her ki while I was training with Kakarot.

“Kakarot, I need to get to Tundra now!” I snarled before the other Saiyan grabbed my shoulder and teleported me to my mate.

“I’ll go get Bulma,” Kakarot said as I kneeled beside Tundra and started sensing her vitals and the baby’s vitals with my ki before he disappeared.

A split second later, he reappeared with my second mate. Bulma screamed in shock and kneeled beside me before she started calling for the Capsule Corps medical team. The human woman started taking the Archosian’s vitals as Kakarot teleported out of the room to be out of the way. Within minutes, staff had Tundra on the way to the medical rooms in the building. With her being pregnant, it was determined too dangerous to put her in one of the medical pods until a cause for her collapse had been found. We waited hours as we watched them conduct test after test on Tundra through a one-way window. Finally, the doctor in charge of Tundra’s medical team came out and led us to his office.

“Well, Mr. Prince and Ms. Briefs, from what we’ve determined about the cause of Ms. Cold’s collapse today, we believe it’s stress from overworking herself and training too much. I recommend that she stop training immediately and go on maternity leave early for her and the baby’s health,” the doctor said firmly.

“Tundra is going to hate that. She’s in the middle of a major project right now. And we’ve got something else coming up soon,” Bulma said as she crossed her arms.

“The child and my mate are not fragile. She can keep training if she wishes,” I snarled.

“I know that this baby is much stronger than any human child, given that you and Ms. Cold are both aliens, Mr. Prince and that you are both stronger than any person found here on Earth, but a mother with a child is still in a very delicate state, even if that mother is one of the strongest beings on the planet. If she keeps training as she does, she will lose the baby, and she could lose the ability to have children in the future and the risk to her life with the complications. We might have lost Ms. Cold and the baby today if you hadn’t brought her to our attention when you did,” the doctor said, shocking us both into silence. “However, one good piece of news did come out of this near tragedy today if you both would like to hear it.”

“What is it?” Bulma asked hesitantly.

“It would appear that Ms. Cold is having a son,” the doctor said with a faint smile as a wave of emotion washed over me as he presented us with images of an ultrasound. “And it appears that the child has Saiyan-dominant features, from what we can tell, judging by the human-like appearance and the tail, but we’ll know more after the child’s birth.”

“A son? I’m having a son?” I whispered almost reverently as I took the pictures carefully and looked at them.

“Can we go see Tundra now? I think Vegeta needs to be with her after hearing that little bit of news, and frankly, so do I,” Bulma insisted as I tucked the pictures into my armor.

“Of course. Ms. Cold is in the room as before,” the doctor stated before the two of us left to go back to Tundra’s medical room.

Within minutes, we were settled on either side of Tundra’s bed. Bulma was tapping away at some tablet she had brought from wherever Kakarot had grabbed her earlier. She was likely setting up Tundra’s extended maternity leave with whatever benefits she could give her. She was taking over Tundra’s project personally so it wouldn’t get messed up by the humans. As Bulma continued to type away, Tundra’s ki rose steadily, and I tightened my grip on her hand. Bulma looked over at me and then at Tundra just as Tundra groaned and opened her eyes.

“I feel like Kakarot shattered my ribcage again,” Tundra groaned as she flipped her tail over her eyes to block the light before Bulma got up to turn the room down. “What happened? I was in my office?”

“Vegeta found you passed out in your office after he sensed a drop in your ki and the ki of the baby. We rushed you here. The next part, you aren’t going to like, so I’ll let Vegeta tell you because he’s less breakable than I am,” Bulma said sheepishly as I gave her a look.

~TUNDRA’S POV~

I looked at my two mates suspiciously as I removed my tail from over my face at Bulma’s words. Vegeta went pale slightly as my gaze slid over to him. He raised his hands slightly as I pointed the tip of my tail at him. He quickly pulled something out of his armor before handing it to me. I sat up with some help from Vegeta and Bulma, who raised the bed I was lying on to understand better what I had just been handed.

“What am I looking at?” I asked curiously as I studied the grainy images.

“Those are ultrasound images, Tundra. That’s your baby,” Bulma squealed.

“That’s our son,” Vegeta whispered reverently as he placed a hand on the swell of my stomach as I took in the images.

“He looks like a Saiyan. He needs a name befitting his royal lineage,” I said with a hum, already having an idea. “He does come from two royal bloodlines.”

“That is true,” Vegeta said proudly.

“Do you two have ideas?” Bulma asked.

“Vegeta V,” I declared, shocking my Saiyan husband, who hadn’t expected that. “What?”

“You want to name our son after me?” Vegeta asked.

“He’s going to take after you. It is a solid royal Saiyan name. For the next child we have, we can give them an Archosian name. Besides, when you and Bulma have a child, she’ll likely want to continue her family tradition,” I explained.

“She’s not wrong,” Bulma stated.

“I suppose you have a good point. Plus, all of our children will be royalty,” Vegeta said with his signature smirk as Bulma took pictures of the ultrasound photos.

“Now, what is the bad news?” I demanded.

“The doctor has banned you from training and ordered you to start your maternity leave immediately. He said you had collapsed from overworking and stress,” Vegeta stated quickly.

“I’ve already filled out the paperwork for your maternity leave. And I’m taking over your project personally, so it doesn’t get screwed up,” Bulma added.

“But I have to train!” I snarled, causing the machines attached to me to go haywire.

“Tundra darling, we would have lost you and our son today if I hadn’t sensed your ki drop while I was training with Kakarot. He teleported me to your side. We came so losing you both. The doctors almost lost you both,” Vegeta pleaded, making me realize how stressful the day had been for everyone. “Everyone is worried about your collapse, Tundra. They know you’re pregnant because the clown can’t shut his big mouth.”

I was quiet for a long while as all of that sunk in. I curled my tail over the growing swell of my stomach and slipped deep into thought. Eventually, I was roused from my thoughts when enough food to feed an army was brought into the room. I wasn’t hungry after the day’s events to eat for my health and the sake of our newly named son, so I did. Vegeta and Bulma spoke quietly about my condition and what arrangements could be made. After the three of us finished dinner, I finally said.

"I am sorry for the worry that I have caused everyone today. I will follow the doctor’s advice, step back from training, and work without complaint. Nearly losing my life and our son had made me realize that I cannot overwork myself as I had before I got pregnant,” I stated as I slipped a hand under my tail and rubbed it over my stomach before I looked up at both of my mates. “But I want you both there for me more often. Not just training or working all the time. I know we have the androids coming to attack in a little more than two years, but I need support from both of you.”

“Oh, we’ll be there for you, Tundra. We love you dearly,” Bulma squealed before kissing my cheek. “I’m already planning a baby shower, so we have something happy to celebrate.”

“Woman. Tundra doesn’t need one of your parties to add to her stress,” Vegeta snarled, his protective instincts going into overdrive. “And you have so much money that you can buy whatever we need for our son.”

“Vegeta’s right, Bulma. I’d rather keep Geta between us and your family for now,” I pleaded. “I don’t want anything about the baby accidentally getting back to the creator of the androids. Please don’t throw a party.”

“Hmm… That’s a good point. We don’t need the androids’ creator finding out about the baby yet, not until the day of the attack,” Bulma sighed, acquiescing.

The next three months were much different from the first four months of my pregnancy. I had told my medical team that female Archosians like myself had much longer pregnancies than a human’s 9-month pregnancy, lasting for an Earth year. In contrast, Saiyan pregnancies last only about six months. My pregnancy would be somewhere in the middle at around the same length as a human’s pregnancy of nine months, as it seemed that Geta was growing at the rate of an unborn human. Around seven and a half months into the pregnancy, I was home alone on the Capsule Corps grounds, looking myself over in the floor-length mirror. It was Vegeta’s day to be out training with Kakarot and the others, and Bulma was in the main building at an important meeting regarding the company. I was in one of the sets of lingerie gifted by my mates as I took in how the pregnancy had changed my appearance. I was no longer toned and well-trained like I was before. Not even my tail was as strong as it used to be. Tears filled my eyes as my ki began to spike instinctively. As of last month, I had lost the form I had gained access to right before Vegeta’s return to Earth. I sniffled and curled up in the bed that I turned into a massive nest over the last month, pulling the curtains around the bed to hide from the world. I curled my tail protectively over the large swell of my growing son and cried for hours, it seemed, before I felt the sensation of my two mates crawling into bed with me. A gentle hand lifted my face to be greeted by Vegeta’s sad eyes.

“What hurts you, my ice princess?” he whispered as he curled his tail around mine.

“I’m not as beautiful or strong as when I first got pregnant with Geta. I’m almost as big as the house,” I sniffled as Bulma snuggled up to my back.

“Tundra, you get prettier daily as you nurture that baby in your body. Me and Vegeta will prove it,” Bulma nearly growled.

“How? What can you do to prove it?” I demanded as my ki spiked again.

“I’ve got the holodeck set up with information and various settings from Planet Vegeta in that drive you gave me years ago. It also had some intel on your homeworld. We’ll have a maternity photoshoot there, and we’ll have to dress you two up like the true royals you are,” Bulma said determinedly as she reached through the curtains and began typing on her phone.

“You kept a drive of information on my homeworld? My culture is not lost?” Vegeta whispered.

“Of course not. I want my children to be educated in the heritage, unlike the clown and his bloodline,” I said as I sniffed derisively.

~BULMA’S POV~

A week after Tundra had her breakdown, Vegeta and I escorted her into the holodeck in Capsule Corps. I flew in the world's best maternity photographer, Marie Smith, for this photoshoot. Vegeta and I had warned her that he and Tundra both scorned alien royalty that had settled here on Earth permanently, that the three of us were in a relationship, and that Vegeta would be incredibly overprotective of Tundra at times. Tundra was in a beautiful blood-red dress that highlighted all of her curves. A matching red cape hung from her shoulders. On the right side of her chest was the royal crest of the Archosian, and on her left breast was the royal crest of the house of Vegeta, from what the two told me. Both crests were embroidered into the dress in bright silver to stand out against the red fabric of the dress. Vegeta was wearing royal armor, similar to what his father had been wearing in the drive that Tundra had given me, with his crest on the left side of his chest. Since Tundra could not wear her traditional armor, I chose to wear it for her and wore both crests as she did. As Vegeta explained, the women who married into his family wore his crest and the crest of their family, but I had none of my own, so I chose to wear the Capsule Corps logo. The three of us walked onto the holodeck to find Marie waiting for us and marveling at the technology around her.

“Ms. Briefs, Ms. Cold, and Mr. Prince, if today goes as well as we all hope for, I might want to ask for a contract for this space for future client bookings. The technology here is fantastic, and this could open up an entirely new avenue of photography, let alone cinematography,” Marie said in awe before she turned to look at Tundra. “Ms. Cold, you are positively glowing with maternal beauty. This is going to be my most fantastic photoshoot yet! You are radiant!”

“I’m not so sure about this, Marie,” Tundra said nervously as her tail swished under her cape.

“Darling, you are a planet-conquering princess. You’ve traveled to countless planets and helped to inspire countless more to rebel against your tyrant of a brother. You can do something as simple as a photo shoot. I know you’ve had to give speeches for the empire, and I’ve stood before you as you’ve spoken,” Vegeta said as he cupped Tundra’s cheeks.

“Don’t forget that Vegeta and I will be here getting our pictures taken with you, Tee,” I said as I hugged her gently, and she took a deep breath.

“Ok. I think I’m ready to start this,” Tundra said confidently.

“Wonderful! If we can start with the throne room of your homeworld, Ms. Cold, I’d like you to sit on the throne,” Marie said before I nodded to the people in the control room.

The rest of the day was filled with hundreds, if not thousands, of pictures of the three of us in various settings on Earth, Planet Vegeta, and Archosia, as I later in the night was the name for Tundra’s homeworld. Vegeta even used his Super Saiyan transformation for some photos based on Planet Vegeta, looking smug the entire time. Tundra looked heartbreakingly beautiful in her dress yet deadly powerful as she exuded the grace and power she once wielded to conquer planets. Vegeta and I had planned to possibly bring up the option of making this into a boudoir shoot with Marie, but only if Tundra felt comfortable with herself and how she appeared. Vegeta glanced at me and nodded as we shifted around in the snowy forest scene where we had taken photos.

“Give me just a moment to switch out memory cards, and we’ll continue,” Marie said as she stepped out of the holodeck.

“Let me call Gohan and Piccolo. The clown’s coming, probably wondering why our ki is spiking without us fighting even though Tundra is on restricted activity,” Vegeta said before he borrowed my phone, called Piccolo, and started yelling at him to contain Goku for the rest of the day, with threats of everyone’s safety included.

“Tundra, sweetheart, how would you feel about stepping this up?” I asked confidently but with a bit of hesitance in my voice as Vegeta hung up on Piccolo.

“I think you are looking gorgeous, my darling, and I’d like for the three of us to have some private photos of you like this for the three of us to look at in the future,” Vegeta purred lowly as he wrapped his arms around Tundra and gently ran his hand over her stomach causing her to blush a deep purple.

“I-I suppose a few photos wouldn’t hurt, but I don’t have anything sexy to wear that will fit,” Tundra complained with a cute pout before I pulled a capsule out of the armor I had been wearing all day.

“You say that as if I haven’t made you anything to wear,” I said with a smirk.

After popping the capsule open, two sets of lingerie for her and me were revealed, and then a deep blue speedo for Vegeta with the Royal Crest across the ass in Super Saiyan gold. Tundra’s lingerie was a deep onyx black, mine was a soft baby blue, and Vegeta’s speedo was gold. Each of us had a robe to cover ourselves to start with. Tundra’s lingerie had room for her tail, and her robe had been designed with it in mind. Vegeta’s robe had a slit up the back for his tail, and his speedo sat just under the base of his tail.

“Of course you did. I suppose I’ll get changed in one of the side rooms,” Tundra said as she gathered up her outfit and shuffled off into one of the side rooms of the holodeck.

“Marie, we’ll be switching over to that boudoir setting that Vegeta and I discussed with you when we set up the appointment,” I said before disappearing with my outfit to change.

A few minutes later, Vegeta and I were back in the main room of the holodeck, waiting for Tundra and chatting with Marie to discuss our plan for the next stage of the shoot. Vegeta wrapped his tail tightly around his waist, although it would uncurl and swish in agitation every minute we waited on Tundra.

“So, we’ll start in the Vegetasei throne room at your request, Mr. Prince, then we’ll move to the bedroom scene and possibly more, depending on Ms. Cold,” Marie said with a friendly smile.

“That sounds like a wonderful plan,” I said with a grin before Vegeta’s jaw suddenly dropped.

I looked at what he was staring at and found Tundra creeping out of her changing room in the lingerie she had grabbed a few minutes ago, and I had chosen the right shade of red for her skin complexion. Tundra had the robe on and her tail draped over her shoulder and stomach protectively as she walked over to us. She looked confident, but I knew she was nervous by the slight twitch at the tip of her tail.

“You look deadly beautiful, my darling,” Vegeta purred as his tail slid from around his waist and started swaying low against the ground.

“I feel like a fool,” Tundra muttered lowly.

“Sweetheart, you look terrific. Never doubt that. You look so much more beautiful than any model on this planet. You could be the top model on this planet if you wanted to,” I said with a smile, trying to boost her confidence.

“I guess you’re right,” Tundra said as she relaxed.

After that, the rest of the photo shoot went smoothly. The three of us took our robes off after a few pictures had been taken in the Vegetasei, and that seemed to give Tundra a massive confidence boost. At the end of the shoot, Vegeta took an exhausted Tundra back to our home on the Capsule Corps grounds to let her rest before returning. He and I talked about what images we wanted from the shoot and what we wanted to be done with them with Marie. A week before Tundra’s actual due date, we received a massive package with canvas portraits, stock photos, and various other photo types from the shoot. Vegeta was out training with Goku that day, but he came home as soon as we told him about the package. Tundra sat on the floor with her tail curled around herself as we looked over the pictures. She looked much happier now that she seemed to realize how beautiful she was to Vegeta and me and that the rest of the world could fuck off.

~VEGETA’S POV~

In the last few days of Tundra’s pregnancy, I stayed around Capsule Corps to be close by when she finally went into labor with the child. At her request, I retrieved a Senzu bean from Korin after learning of the cat’s location from Kakarot. Tundra went into labor on her due date, but the stress of the Androids’ attack in two years made things progress slowly. After being in labor for nearly two days with little progress, Tundra chose with her medical team within Capsule Corps to have the child by earthling surgery to save her and our son. After a complicated two-hour surgery, an exhausted Tundra was wheeled out of the operating room and back into a regular hospital room with our son, Vegeta V, in her arms. My eyes started watering at the sight of our son. Bulma slipped into the room with two boxes and an excited grin in her hands.

“Welcome to the universe, Vegeta V,” I whispered proudly, curling my tail around my newborn son.

“I still cannot believe that you chose to give him the ancestral name of the House Vegeta,” I whispered as I kissed the top of Tundra’s head before kissing the top of my newborn son’s head.

“Oh, he looks precious,” Bulma whispered as she handed us the boxes.

“What is this?” Tundra asked as the two of us opened the boxes.

My tail puffed out in surprise at seeing an earth pregnancy test inside. Judging by Bulma’s face, these were hers. She sat on the bed next to Tundra.

“Congratulations, Bulma,” Tundra said with a smile.

“I’m going to be a father again?” I asked, looking over at Bulma.

“Well, duh,” Bulma giggled as she gently rubbed her stomach. “I’ve got a tiny half-Saiyan of my own cooking in here.”

“Well…I cannot wait,” I stated smugly as I looked over my wives and newborn.

Notes:

Vegeta being a caring soon-to-be dad? what kind of blasphemy is this?!

Chapter 9: Under Going Rewrite

Chapter Text

Hey, guys. Sorry for dipping out on this story for so long. I really didn't mean to. College has been kicking me in the metaphorical dick for the last two semesters, and I've kinda lost my motivation because of stress. I've gone back recently and reread the whole book, 45ish chapters, and I'm not impressed with what I've written. I'm gonna ease into rewriting the whole thing and start slowly posting, I'm probably not gonna post until mid-May because of finals, and I'm also starting substitute teaching. I will be mega-updating throughout the summer, but once august hits, it will slow down again. But rest assured, I'm not giving up on this. I love this story and this fandom. This story is my baby, especially with the news of Toriyama-Sensei's passing exactly one month ago. I will be leaving this story up until I start posting, and I may keep it up. I'll decide then. The new version will have the same title, unless I decide to change the title just before publishing, but it might be too much work. I hope you guys aren't upset with me. I love all of you. See ya.

Chapter 10: question?

Chapter Text

So....

Quick question about the story.

Would you guys be interested in a Cooler-focused arc? it would be a couple of chapters long and set probably a few months after Tundra's pregnancy, so Bulma would probably be pregnant, and before the Android Saga starts.

I made a Google forms, just a question like this for you guys to answer, or you can comment down below.

Chapter 11: Final decision regarding the ch. 10 question

Chapter Text

I've decided to go ahead and add a Cooler's Revenge arc simply because it pleases me to do so, and it works better for later chapters. I'm also adding in a Return of Cooler arc, to spice up things for later.

I'll start posting the new version of the story once I have about 20 or so of the original chapters rewritten. That number doesn't include the number of new chapters I've added so far.

Hopefully I can start posting again by the end of this year, but I am taking 5 heavy classes. Each of those classes have a lot of course work with them, so my writing will so WAY the fuck down compared to now. SO MANY COLLEGE PAPERS. Not to mention substitute teaching, on top of my other job. Hopefully, I can get my teachers to work with me on that end for my clinical experience hours.

See you all soon, my lovelies!!

Chapter 12: Life Update

Chapter Text

Hey Guys.

SO life has gotten pretty stressful to say the least since I last updated this book. The rewrite is underway and has been for a while. I just haven’t had a chance to start posting it.

That being said, I do have nearly 2,000 pages of stuff already written out and ready to post. I should be able to start posting this summer, since I have more than enough to maintain a regular posting schedule.

HOWEVER, I did switch universities at the end of the previous semester and jumped right into classes over the winter break. I have a class over what my *current* school calls the summer interim, which is the three week break in May between semesters, and then three more classes over the semester…before I dive right into five more classes in the fall.

My year is packed with classes. I’m so tired.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH!

My lovely partner of 13 amazing years graduates in December this year! So give him all the kudos and amazing comments!

I’ll start a new book sometime this summer (probably June) under the same name as this one!
