Chapter Text
The Akuma was big, even with it being in a hunched over position. It had massive claws on each arm, which on there own were as long as most buildings around it were tall. It had been a scientist who believed to be on the verge of a breakthrough in his project -something related to portal travel- when she was denied more funding for it.
The Akuma used its massive claws to rip open portals in the air, like the one it was using now to launch a car at the heroes, who both jumped away to avoid it.
"Chat, any idea what the Akumatized Object is yet?" Ladybug called over to her partner, who shook his head. "It's gotta be in one of the pockets, but she won't let us get close!"
While the heroes were discussing, the Akuma had reached far above them and ripped open another portal. but instead of another improvised projectile a humanoid figure appeared out of it and began to fall.
As Ladybug prepared to send out her yo-yo to catch them they were encased in light, and once the light cleared the heroes could see that the figure had wings and was supporting themself in the sky. Another flash of light and the figures shape changed again. The figure glided down and landed near the heroes.
The figure looked around before her eyes landed on the Eiffel Tower. "So I'm in Paris." The figure turned to them and spoke again. "Hello! Do you two need or want some help?"
Chat Noir and Ladybug looked at eachother for a moment before seeming to come to an agreement. Ladybug spoke. "Your help would be appreciated. Could we get your name and a quick explanation of your abilities so we can incorporate you into our plan?" The figure nodded.
"My name is Orion like this. My main abilities are called 'Hunter' which allows me to keep track of a chosen item or creature for as long as it's active, and 'Shadow' which allows me to turn into a shadow and travel through them. I can also mimic voices and sounds, and keep track of the location of any allies. I wield both a bow and set of blades as the weapons my miraculous' give me."
Chat Noir seemed surprised at this. "That's quite the list." He stated. Ladybug seemed thoughtful. "I think I know exactly what to do."
