As Fin, Dodds and Carisi are in the mobile command outside, Joe asks Liv if there was anyone at the NYPD would miss her if she was dead. She says nothing but the first person she thinks of is Elliot.
Inside the mobile command, one of the HNT team members finds out the negotiator was further away than they thought.
Elliot hears about the situation over the scanner and goes to the scene. Carisi and Dodds meet him.
“I can do it. How’s Liv?”
“Ok. Still alive.”
“Good.”
They head inside and the phone rings. Elliot answers it.
“Hello?”
“I’m ok. Joe is with me.”
“Joe. I’m Sergeant Stabler. You can call me Elliot.”
“Ok Elliot. Here’s what I want. I want a car. A clear path to the airport, a plane and I’ll fly it.”
“We can do that. But I need you to do something for me first.”
“What?”
“Let me send some medics in to check everyone over.”
“No.”
Elliot rolls his eyes. “Ok. Can I talk to Olivia again?”
“You’re on speaker.”
“El?”
“Yeah. I’m here. Everyone ok?”
“Dad needs help. I’m ok. Got a black eye coming. I can feel it. Kids are good.”
“Ok. Hang in there.”
“Trying.”
“Call you soon with updates.”
“Thanks.”
Joe hangs up. “Who’s that?”
“My partner.”
“Oh. So he would miss you.”
“Yes. The whole unit would.”
A little while later, Elliot calls Liv again.
“Liv? You doin ok?”
“Still good.”
“Good. Joe? The car is going to be here shortly. Can I send the medics in?”
“Yes. No guns and they have to strip.”
“Ok. We can do that.”
Elliot relays the message over to Dodds and another guy who were going in. “Hey Dodds. I know Liv isn’t ok. Tell me how she really is.”
“Got it.”
They go in and get the dad. Dodds looks over at Liv. “You good?”
“Yeah.”
He heads out and the other medic takes the dad to the ambulance.
Dodds gets dressed again and goes back into the mobile command.
“How is she?”
“Scared. Got a black eye coming on.”
Inside, Olivia helps Roxie put the vest on. “Just kneel and put your hands up if you want to be done with this.”
“But..”
“It’ll be ok.”
Roxie goes outside and looks over the car. “I’m sorry, Joe.”
She kneels down and they take her into custody.
Liv nods when she sees Roxie in custody. “Ok Joe. Just you and me and the kids now. We need to get them out of here. Just put the gun on me and we’ll go out.” Joe glares at her. “No funny business.”
“None.”
She takes the kids' hands. “It’s ok. When I let you go, run. My friends are over there and I’ll be right behind. I promise.”
She lets the kids go. “Run.”
They look at her. “It’s ok. I promise.”
The kids take off running and Liv spins and elbows him.
ESU takes the shot and Liv freezes. Elliot and Carisi come rushing to her.
“You ok, Lieutenant?”
“Where’s Noah?”
Elliot holds her hand with his hand on her back.
“He’s safe. He’s with Lucy.”
She stops. “El…thank you.”
He smiles at her. “You’re welcome. Nothing would’ve been right if you weren’t around.”
“I need Noah.”
“I’ll take you to the station so you can get cleaned up. We need pictures anyway.”
She nods. “Then home?”
“Yes. Then home to see your boy.”
She raises her eyebrow at him. “My boy?”
“You know what I mean. It’ll be ok.”
Once they get back to the precinct, Elliot follows Liv up to the cribs. He locks the door behind them and she flings herself at him.
He catches her and holds her tight. “I was so scared when I heard. I had to go down.”
“I’m glad you did. I was hoping you would come. You knew I’d need you.”
He kisses the top of her head. “Come on. Let’s get the pictures and get you changed.”
She nods but doesn’t let go.
“You gotta let me go.”
“Don’t want to.”
He rubs her back and kisses her cheek. “The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can go home and get you curled up in bed with Noah.”
She smiles. “Yeah. And you.”
He tips her head up and kisses her softly. “I love you, Olivia.”
“I love you too, El.”
