Chloe's POV
I'd always wanted to be a doctor. It's been my dream since I was 5. When a doctor came to my school for career day. Besides my dad is a Doctor and my mom is a criminal Justice lawyer, for the Seattle District Attorney's office. Helping people is in my blood.
"Knock Knock, time for you to head to your first day as a surgical intern." My mom said as she walked in and fixed my jacket.
"Mom, I know plus Alex is coming to pick me up in 15 minutes," I said as I fixed my hair in the mirror.
"We'll breakfast is ready downstairs plus your siblings are ready to wish you a good first day." Mom said as she headed for the door.
"Alright, no time like the present," I said as I turned off my light and headed downstairs.
I walked downstairs to my chaotic household as usual.
"Damn it, Cole what did you do with my jacket! I have to leave for class." Ciara yelled through the house.
"I don't know. I didn't have it! Ask Colin or Chloe," Cole said from upstairs.
It was seriously crazy that we all still lived together. From one high school boy to a college student and me a surgical intern at one of the top residency programs in the country, and my crazy overprotective older brother. Plus my parents, obviously couldn't keep their hands to their selves since there are 4 of us.
"Chlo did you see my black jacket? The one with the white stripes ?" Ciara asked me as she walked down the steps with one shoe in her hand and the other barely laced on her foot.
"No, I haven't and why is only one side of your hair curled, you seriously need some help," I said as I headed upstairs with her to her room.
"You sit and finish your hair and I'll grab your jacket," I said as I went to get her jacket.
"Thanks, sis, I really needed that," Ciara said as she started curling her hair.
"Your welcome CeCe, also did you actually look for it, because it's right here behind your winter jacket," I said as I pulled it out of her closet.
I grabbed my phone and texted Alex to see where he was.
Me 6:32 am
Hey Alex, where are you? Also, Mom wants to know if you want pancakes and bacon for breakfast.
Alex 6:37 am
I'm coming down your street right now, also yea I would tell Mom I would like some pancakes and bacon.
Me 6:49 am
Okay, I'll tell her, hurry up and get here so we aren't late on our first day.
Alex and I had been friends since the 2nd grade, Johnny Williams was pulling my hair and Alex stepped in and punched him and from then the perfect bond was there. He was the first person who I came out to. He is really my best friend I'm so glad that we are starting at the same hospital together.
"Mom, Alex said he wants some pancakes and bacon. He'll be here soon." I yelled down the steps.
"I know your plates are already fixed and ready for you to go," Mom said as she yelled upstairs.
"Alright little sis, have a good class and I'll see you after my first day," I said as I headed downstairs.
"Alright, guys my baby girl is getting ready for her first day at her residency." My mom said as she came to the door with my dad and my siblings.
"And if she's anything like me at my residency then she'll do amazing," Dad said as he kissed my cheek.
"Can we take the first-day picture already ?" I asked as I rolled my eyes while holding the doorknob.
"Alright, Alright let's take the Adams family picture," Dad said as he grabbed his phone.
We posed at the door and took my first day of residency.
"Okay, that is going in the scrapbook. We love you and have a great day." Mom said as she opened the door to Alex waiting.
"Mom, Dad did I miss the first day picture ?" Alex asked as he walked in.
"Alright, one more than we have to go," I said as we all posed with Alex for another first-day of residency picture.
"Okay okay, our doctors have to go to work, oh don't forget your breakfast guys, make sure you eat and stay hydrated." Mom yelled as Alex and I closed the door and headed to the car.
"So dude how are you feeling about our first day ?" Alex asked as he started loudly eating his bacon.
"I feel fine, I can't wait to start I can finally join the reigns of the great doctors that we learned about," I said.
"Well, I got an email that I have Dr. Bailey as a resident. Who do you have ?" Alex asked me as he grabbed more of his bacon.
"I have her too, they call her the Nazi. Why do you think that is ?" I asked as I started eating too.
"Maybe he is actually a Nazi," Alex said as we stopped at a red light.
"Why do you think that Dr. Bailey is a man, why can she be a woman ?" I asked him.
"Your right, but Chloe a female Nazi kinda sounds hot," Alex said as he pulled into the hospital.
"Yeah sure, now watch where you're going and park the damn car," I yelled as he drove into the parking spot.
Alex parked the car and we headed to the door.
"Alright let's go and get changed before we are late," I said as we started walking in.
We headed to the lobby but it was a maze.
"Okay, how the hell are we supposed to find anyone or anything in here ?" Alex asked as we started walking.
"Maybe the sign that says intern locker room could help us a little bit," I said as I pointed to the sign.
"Okay one point for you, now can we go to work," Alex said as he opened the door.
"Fine, let's do this," I said as I pushed past him and walked in.
I walked into the locker room and tried to find my name but I didn't see it.
"Hi, do you know if we pick our lockers or if we have assigned lockers ?" I asked the blue-eyed blonde girl who standing next to me.
"Yeah, our lockers are assigned what's your name ?" The girl asked me.
"Oh I'm Chloe, Chloe Adams," I said as I put out my hand.
"Meredith, Meredith Grey." She said as she shook my hand.
"Wait like as in Ellis Grey ?" The curly black-haired girl asked as she turned around.
"Yeah, but don't tell anyone about it. I don't want to be known as Ellis Grey's daughter." Meredith said.
"Got it," I said along with the black-haired girl.
"Thanks," Meredith said.
"So do any of you have Dr. Bailey or the Nazi as a resident ?" A guy asked us.
"Yes, I do." 5 of us said.
"Oh great, I'm George by the way, and do any of you know what she's called the Nazi ?" George asked.
"Well I'm Isobel, but most people call me Izzie," Izzie said.
"I'm Cristina." The black-haired girl said.
"Well I'm Chloe, but I think you all know this already," I said as I closed my locker with my scrubs on.
Well, I'm Alex and maybe he is actually a Nazi." Alex suggested.
"Shut up Alex," I said as I sat down on the benches.
"Do you guys know each other ?" Izzie asked us.
"Yes, he's been my best friend since the 2nd grade," I said as I stood next to him.
"Well, that's sweet," Izzie said as she stood up and closed her locker.
"So are we all ready to find "the Nazi," Meredith said making quotation marks with her hands.
"Yup, let's do this," George said with a grin on his face.
We all closed our lockers and headed out of the locker room.
"What do you think the Nazi looks like ?" Izzie asked.
"She's right there at the nurse's station." One of the nurses said as he walked past us and pointed to a short brown-haired lady.
This lady could have been 4'10 or 4'11. Yet everyone was afraid of her. Maybe she had a stern demeanor. I don't know but I guess I'll find out.
"Hi, I'm Isobel Stevens but people call me Izzie," Izzie said as she tried to shake the hand of Dr. Bailey.
"I have 5 rules memorize them." Dr. Bailey began.
"Rule number one don't bother sucking up I already hate you that's not gonna change. Trauma protocol, phone lists, and papers. Nurses will page you will answer every page at a run. That's rule number two," Dr. Bailey said.
"This shift will last for 48 hours. You are interns, grunts, nobodies. You are at the bottom of the surgical food chain, you run labs, write orders, and work every second night till you drop. You don't complain," Dr. Bailey said.
"On-call rooms attendings hog them to sleep when you can where you can. Which brings me to rule number three if I'm sleeping don't wake me unless your patient is actually dying," Dr. Bailey said.
"Rule number four the dying patient better not be dead when I get there. Not only would you have killed someone, you would've woken me for no good reason. Are we clear ?" Dr. Bailey asked as we stood in the on-call room.
Meredith raised her hand and Dr. Bailey pointed at her.
"You said five rules that was only four," Meredith said as Dr. Bailey's pager went off.
"Rule number five, when I move you move." Dr. Bailey said as she ran out of the room and headed to a stairway and we all followed her.
So far the expectations weren't too hard to listen to, but that was really a hope and a prayer.
We ran into a hospital room to a young man coding.
"Alright, I'm running this code. You start bagging." Dr. Bailey said as she pointed to Alex.
He ran over to the hospital bed and started bagging the boy.
"Alright, you four watch what I'm doing. Charge to 150." Dr. Bailey said as she grabbed the paddles from the defibrillator.
She shocked the boy and it was nothing.
"Alright, shock him again." She said as the monitors continued to beep.
She shocked him again and got a rhythm.
"Alright, we got him, you grab his chart and then you interns have a meeting with the chief for your first day," Bailey said as she pointed to Cristina.
"Are you ever going to learn our names ?" Izzie asked Dr. Bailey.
Dr. Bailey turned around slowly.
"Your Isobel Stevens, that's Alex Karev, Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, George O'Malley, and Chloe Adams. Dr. Stevens your new here so I'm gonna cut you a break which is new for me but don't ever insult my intelligence or you'll only do scut for the rest of your career here. Got it ?" Dr. Bailey said as she stood very close to Izzie.
"Got it, Dr. Bailey, won't happen again," Izzie said as she stood back.
"Well let's move, get this chart filled out and head to the conference room," Bailey yelled as we started scrambling.
"Okay, I've got the chart," Cristina said as she walked over.
"Yeah let's do this so we can head to this welcome meeting," I suggested.
"Well, what's your thing, Adams?" Meredith asked me as we stood together.
"What do you mean my thing ?" I asked her.
"Why did you become a doctor, I did because I wanted to defy my mother. So what's your thing why are you here ?" She asked me.
"Well my dad is a doctor and my mom is a lawyer I guess helping people is in my blood," I said.
"Oh, you've got Doctor Blood got it," Meredith said.
"Alright well, I got the chart finished so let's head to the meeting," Cristina said.
"Yeah, let's do this, what about you Cristina why are you here ?" I asked her.
"I've always wanted to be a doctor, because of my dad," Cristina said as she walked ahead of us to open the door.
"That's great to know, so far we have an optimistic, George. We have a model, Izzie. And we have a mysterious one, Cristina, a legacy, Meredith, Chloe a weirdo, and me the best one here." Alex said proudly as we walked in.
"Oh shut up Alex." We all said in agreement.
We all walked into the room and saw, a tall bald man.
"Welcome interns, have a seat." The bald man said as we all sat next to each other.
In the back row, there were a bunch of people in dark blue scrubs and one familiar red-headed lady.
"Oh shit, oh shit," I said as she next down next to Meredith and Cristina
"What the hell is the matter with you ?" Cristina asked me.
"I slept with that attending right there last night," I said as I looked up at her and turned back around.
"Oh go you, wait she's gonna be our boss. You're in some shit." Meredith said as I leaned on her shoulder shrieking.
"Good job, Chloe she's super hot," Alex said as he patted me on my back.
"Get your head out of your pants for once and focus Alex," I said as I slapped his arm.
"Guys no fighting," George said as the mediator.
"Guys, she gonna be my boss. I can't believe this." I said.
Addison's POV
"Callie, I did something really crazy," I said to Callie anxiously.
"Nothing can be crazier than cheating on your husband with his best friend," Callie said.
I looked at her with a side-eye.
"Too soon, got it. But what did you do ?" Callie asked.
"I slept with that intern last night," I said as I pointed to her brunette head.

Last Night
"Okay Chlo, this is my second time kicking your ass in darts. What's up you never let me win." Alex asked me as we sat down at the table in Joe's Bar.
"Her," I said as I pointed to the redhead with the fitted black dress and the black Christian Louboutins.
"Oh yeah, she's totally hot Chloe, you should go talk to her." Alex encouraged me.
"Alright, I will," I said as I chugged my last tequila.
I got up to courage to walk over to the hot redhead and talk to her.
"Hi, I don't know if you've seen me looking at you for the past hour, but I wanted to come over here to say hello," I said as the redhead turned around.
"Well, hi I'm Addison." She said as she held out her hand.
We shook hands and instantly I felt a spark.
*It was like magic, I'd never say that to anyone though.*

Present Time
"I mean Addie she's pretty cute, but how is this gonna affect your work relationship?" Callie asked me.
"I don't know, but I have my starting speech that I have to go do, I'll be back."
"Well thank you Dr. Burke for that introduction," Webber said
I walked down the aisle and headed to start my speech.
"Dr. Burke is chief of Cardio, if you have any interests in Cardio please talk to him. Now we have the chief of OB and Neo-Natal medicine." Webber said as he welcomed me to the stage.
"Hi, I'm Dr. Addison Montgomery. I'm a double board certified Neonatal surgeon who specializes in genetics." I said in the middle of the stage.
Chloe stared at me in awe while I was on the stage.
Well, it looks like we have some tea here. Let's see how these two work together at Seattle Grace.
