Bunker:

– He must have done something to it! – your older brother snapped.

– Dean, calm down. This is going nowhere. – Castiel tried to calm the raging Winchester.

– Lucifer must have bewitched him or something. – Dean asserted, then looked to his brother to prove him right.

– I don't know, Dean. I mean, why would Lucifer do that? What good would that do?

– To spite us or whatever the hell! But this... this isn't normal. You can't love that monster!

– In fact, he made mistakes, but he's changed. – You snapped. This has been going on for half an hour. You told your brothers you had feelings for a certain fallen angel, and they didn't take it so well. At least Dean couldn't take it. He's absolutely convinced that Lucifer somehow charmed you, cursed you, or did something like that to make you feel that way. Of course these allegations are not true, the fallen angel did no such thing.

– You see Sammy? She's talking out of his ass. You're staying in the bunker until we can put an end to this madness.

– Dean, have you lost your mind? I'm definitely not staying here! You're talking out of your ass! I love Lucifer, whether you like it or not. I've never been able to do what I want, it's always been other people who decide what's right for me. For once in my life, let me decide for once in my life. – By the end, you had in tears. You grabbed your coat off the chair and ran up the stairs, out of the bunker. You jumped in your car and almost didn't stop until you got to Richmond, Virginia. You have an apartment there that your brothers didn't know about.

When you walked through the door of the apartment, dead tired, and closed it, you collapsed on the floor sobbing, your back against the door. That's as far as you got. You hadn't cried once during the 20 or so hour drive, but now that you were mostly relaxed and didn't have to concentrate on driving, your emotions were making their way in. After half an hour of active crying, the sound of wings fluttering hit your ears, and then two strong arms pulled you towards them, accompanied by a familiar baritone.

– Not worth crying for these idiots. –  Lucifer whispered in your ear, and you just wrapped your arms around his neck and buried your head in the crook of his neck.

– I shouldn't have told them. – you sniffled.

– It wasn't your fault that your idiot brother reacted the way he did. Okay, that was to be expected. But I figured since you're his sister, he'd be a little more tolerant. I guess I expected too much from the Winchesters. – your partner grumbled, and then all you could sense was him taking you in his arms and walking you over to the sofa, where he sat down, pulling you into his lap. – And next time, if you please, don't drive as if you want to throw your life away. I don't want you to die because you drive like a madman.

– I don't know what you're talking about. I always drive like this. – you chuckle. Okay, that wasn't entirely true, you don't usually drive THAT fast.

– You should get some sleep. When was the last time you slept? – Lucifer looked at you. You were almost asleep in his arms, but you still answered.

– 34 hours ago, actually.

– Then sleep. Now. – Lucifer, with you in his arms, headed for your room.

– I'll take a shower first. I don't want to get dirty in bed. –  You climbed out of the hands of the fallen angel and headed for the bathroom.

 – Can I join? – he asked with a cheeky smile on his lips as you closed the bathroom door behind you, rolling your eyes but smiling. – Is that a maybe? – he shouted the question after you and you laughed. You blessed yourself for taking the time to go to Richmond every six months and clean the little apartment and get the basics so you don't have to run around for things like shower gel, toothbrushes and toothpaste. In fact, you've been pouring warm water over yourself for 15 minutes after you've actually used it and rubbed your favourite cocoa butter shower gel into your skin. After you've washed the lather off, you climbed out of the shower, wrapped your towel around you and brushed your teeth. It was only then that you noticed your pyjamas had been left out, for which you made an annoyed dash to your room, where Lucifer was already lying on the bed in a black sweatshirt and a grey T-shirt, holding a book. His head snapped up as soon as you entered, and as you walked in, a mischievous smile crept across his lips.

– Stop smiling like that. I forgot my pajamas. – You grumbled, then slapped your way back to the bathroom, where you quickly changed, then spreading your towel on the towel dryer, you hurried back to Lucifer. Climbing in beside him, you pulled the blanket over you and snuggled up close.

– Sleep easy, I'll be here for you all the time. – He whispered in your ear after pulling you close and wrapping his arms around you protectively.  – Do you want me there with you? – he asked, and you just nodded.

– I don't want to relive today. – you say sadly.

– You won't, I promise. I'll make sure of that. But now go to sleep. – It didn't take much for you to fall asleep. After all, who can't fall asleep after 34 hours of being awake? Lucifer, as promised, did not let you dream about what happened that day, and as you asked, he was with you in your sleep, watching over you. That's why you loved the fallen angel. As cold and cruel as she seemed in the presence of others, she was the opposite when you were alone. It was different then. He was kind and caring, of course, and even then he was fond of offering to kill anyone who dared to hurt you, and all you had to do was ask, and they were dead. Of course, you didn't take advantage of these opportunities, and you insisted that he not hurt anyone. This fallen angel was your refuge from all the shit your brothers and sisters did. You've been together for 2 years and sometimes you feel if it wasn't for him, you might not be either. And it didn't take any magic to make you feel what you feel. You didn't understand it at first either, but you just let it go and let yourself be happy.
