At about 9:30 PM on September 13th
Ranboo hears his phone starts ringing as he's trying to focus on some work in his living room. He reaches instinctively to his pocket for his phone when he remembers that he left it on the kitchen table, so with a loud groan he gets up off the couch and walks to the kitchen murmuring some empty threat that no one was around to hear.
-Ranboo Answers the phone-
"Hello?"
"Hey it’s Tubbo, I hope it's not too late boo."
"Oh hey Toby, it's fine, don't worry. What's up, are you alright?"
"Yeah well no- well, it's not me, it's my mom. She's out cold and I have no idea why. I’m on my way to the ER, but could you do me a favor?"
"Yeah sure of course, what is it you need?"
"I just need you to come over and turn on the cameras we have set up. You know the ones we installed after we were robbed?"
"Oh uh- I mean yeah I guess. Just- would you mind if I asked why?"
"Well, she screamed really loud right before I ran in and found her on the ground. I just-"
-Ranboo cuts Tubbo off-
"Well do you have your doors and windows locked like what the broadcast told us to do?"
"Yeah that's the weird part. Maybe she saw something? I don't know."
A"lright I mean it shouldn't be too bad. I’m just gonna switch them on and get outta there though. You know how I feel about your house."
"Yeah that's fine. One last thing. Try to get a good view of the back hallway if you don't mind."
"Okay."
"Alright I’m almost at the hospital. Thank you."
-They hang up the phone-
"Goddamnit I really don't like Tubbo's house in the day, and now I have to go at almost 10pm?" He sighs and stuffs his phone into his pocket turning and walking out of the kitchen to where his front door was "Toby owes me big time after this" He mumbled as he put on his shoes and grabbed his car keys off the hook next to the door
"Boo?" a voice calls out to him as he was opening the front door about to leave "Ranboo where are you going this late at night?"
He grimaces as he turns around to face the voice "Hey Tommy- Uhm- I have to go help out Toby with something while he takes his mum to the hospital. Why aren't you with Wilbur?"
Tommy looks down at the ground hesitant to answer
"Tomz did something happen between you and Wilbur?"
Tommy coughed nervously "No that's not it! I just- I'm going there in a bit I just- I was going to tell you that I'm moving in with him and I don't-"
Ranboo cuts tommy off "Oh Tommy! That's awesome! I'm happy for you little bro, Why were you so nervous about telling me?"
A smile spreads across Tommy's face "I just was scared about how you were going to react" Tommy ran over to Ranboo hugging him tightly "I'll go over and tell him now then!" he said letting go of Ranboo a huge smile still on his face "I'll be back sometime later in the week to get my stuff! I love you be safe with what you're doing boo"
Ranboo smiles as he sees Tommy run off back to his room before he remembers what Toby called him about so he turns around and walks out the door. "Just quickly in and out that's all" he tells himself as he gets into his car and starts it up "That's it. Nothing's going to happen. No need to be paranoid"
