"Dude, you almost burn my hair off, how am I supposed to flirt with bald hair!", Tutor complains again while taking off his hero costume.
"It doesn't matter, with or without hair", Yin muttered while putting away his boots, "You suck anyway"
"Watch it Yin! If we were not on the same team, I would've sent you flying thru the training course"
"Yeah, how about actually dodge the next time I tell you to dodge", Yin snickered which earn a towel thrown at him.
"It's still in the beginning of the semester and you two already bicker, get changed quickly or you'll be late for the next class", Bever, the class president already feeling his incoming headache triggered by the two best friends.
The sight of these two bickering is not something new for RK students. People call them the power duo because of their amazing track records and powerful quirks. They met the first time on the school's admittance and clicked right away. Even when they're still in their second year, they're already surpassing their seniors.
Tutor is the best in close range battle and just a little bit behind from Yin in long range battle ("Yin's fire is strong okay!"). His quirk is earth bending. He can manipulate everything that is coming from the earth. Soil, rocks, and recently he can bend asphalt too. This is also why it was easy to befriend Yin as his quirk can protect him from the heat for some period of time.
As for Yin, his quirk is said to be one of the rarest and strongest fire quirk. There are many heroes with fire based quirk. Like the infamous Endeavor. But Yin's flames isn't red like that of Japan's top veteran hero. Yin's fire is blue and it is multiple times degree hotter than the red flames.
When he was a child, people used to fear him for having the same quirk as a famous super villain. Those has been haunting him since then. It would be a lie if Yin said he doesn't feel scared of his own power. Even now he still struggles to control the power of his quirk. Burning himself is a common occurrence and he'd rather have himself burned than hurting others with his flame.
Just like now, he secretly feels relieved that he didn't actually burn Tutor's head when the later a bit late in dodging. He doesn't want his best friend hurt because of his flames even though he's joking about it.
He doesn't realize Tutor staring.
"Hey, you know I'm only joking right? It was my error this time", Tutor moves to sit beside Yin, sensing his friend having another round of self-doubt.
"Yeah, I know but -"
"ah ah ah, no but Khun Yin, I know your flame is strong, so strong it makes it dangerous, but also makes it the best tool to protect people from villain. Beside, you've been doing a great job to control it. Don't let your fear consume yourself my friend"
Tutor pats him in the back and urges him to stand up. Yin knows that sooner or later he has to let go of his fear that has been limiting him if he really wants to become a hero. He hopes it comes soon.

War still feel the soreness on both his legs from running thru the medical course building so he won't be late to his morning class. To his luck both his best friends Win and Yim decided to skip the class at the same time. Only on lunch time on the second period those two finally appear, which earn them a glare from War.
"Aww sorry my dear friend, I overslept", Win said regretfully while pinching War's cheek.
"My mom suddenly feel ill so I have to stay back to help healing her, sorry na", Yim said while taking seat beside War.
"You'll be forgiven after you help me get rid of my sore legs" War said to Yim which the boy complies, he then turns to Win,
"and you'll pay for my lunch as a compensation for not picking me up this morning and almost making me late"
"Yes, yes as you wish"
Their lunch break almost end when there is a commotion. Students are running to the front of building and before one of them can ask, they overheard one of the fellow freshmen shout.
"It's P'Yin! someone is picking a fight with him!"
The three best friends look at each other before they themselves take off running to the direction of the commotion and when they arrive, the situation is already taking turn for the worse.
"What happened? why's P'Yin not fighting back? Where's P'Tutor? or anyone from Hero Course?", Yim asking in panic to the crowd.
War quickly examines the situation. Judging from the uniform, the student who's picking fight with Yin isn't from RK. Most probably belongs to another university that came for sparring match this morning. Yin is on defense. For some reason he won't fire his flames and only rise them as a shield, which pretty much useless against the other's explosion quirk as it can only lessen the blow. It also appears that Yin is trying to protect a female student, who fell in the far corner.
War quickly scans her, despite the increase of her heartbeat most probably because she's in panic, she suffers no injury. That's a relief.
"What is the cause of this fight? What are they doing? fighting in front of medical course building like this, are they crazy? Of course no one would be brave enough to intervene a fight between two hero course students." War thought to himself. He thinks for a moment and decided this can't go on. If no one from hero course is here to help them then someone has to step up before they blow up the whole building.
"Win, I'll try to distract the explosion guy, when he's distracted enough do your magic and put him to sleep", War said while looking for pebbles big enough to throw.
"Are you sure?", Win sounds scared, he's being rightfully scared as another explosion almost burn the tree near the entrance.
"Yeah, please do it fast okay? Yim help the lady while we're at it.", once he sees his friend nods, he runs to the nearest tree and climbs up. Win is running to other direction, his voice enhancer device is on and Yim is hiding behind the pillar, near the fallen female student.
"Well, here goes nothing", War takes a deep breath and he throws the first pebble while shouting "Hey you!"
It hit the explosive guy's head. His head slowly turns to War directions. War forces down his fear and throw the next pebble "Yes, I'm talking to you"
"Did you really throw pebbles at me?"
"Yeah, and I'll keep throwing pebbles unless you stop, c'mon, use your quirk on the training course, not here", War juggles the next pebbles between his fingers.
The explosive guy's initial confused expression turns into anger within seconds. In the middle of him distracting the guy, War can see Yim helping the lady and Win approaching the guy, waiting for the right time. He throws the last pebble when the explosion guy raise his palm on his direction. With little time he has to dodge the attack, he realizes he has no choice but jump from the tree before he gets exploded.
From the corner of his eyes he can see Yin's panic expression seeing the guy changing his target.
"Win NOW!", War shouts before he closes his eyes and jump.
He can hear Win whistles loudly and feel a strong heat as he falls. Was that the explosion? He falls with an oof, but instead of the ground, his body meets something sturdy but safe enough that he doesn't feel any pain.
Slowly, he opens his eyes and turns to see he has indeed landed on a person. Yin has somehow made in time to slide and catch him before he hit the ground. Getting over his initial shock War quickly gets up and lends his hand to the senior that helped him.
"I'm....I'm sorry Phi, are you okay?", War initial response is scanning Yin and so he does it.
"That should be my line, are you okay? who's crazy enough to climb up there and jump like that?! He almost blow you up! That's dangerous!", Yin genuinely looks worried and a little bit amused but War is too busy scanning him to answer any of his questions.
War finds several mild burns and some scratches on Yin and his wrist is slightly twisted, most probably because of the efforts to catch him when he jumped from the tree.
"That's all I can think about to deescalate the situation", War a little bit upset that Yin can't see his reason but grateful nonetheless because no one is seriously hurt. He glances and see Win dragging the now sleeping explosive guy off the scene and sighing in relief. It's a success.
"I'm fine, but we need to treat your injury Phi, come on, we need to get you to the infirmary", without waiting for any answer, War already helps Yin up and carefully guides him to the infirmary which thankfully isn't far.
Though Yin has so many questions running thru his head, he complies and while he's being dragged away, he fishes his phone with his free hand and calls Tutor. He answers in the first click.
"Hey, please don't ask any questions now and just listen. I need you to get a teacher down to Medical Course, get Bever to if he's available, tell them one of the SR uni students made commotion. After that meet me at their infirmary. I'll explain the rest later"
