“It’s not coming out!” Danny’s frantic cry came winding down the stairs from the bathroom.
“What do you mean it’s not coming out? It better come out!” Q shouted as Danny showered, attempting to clean off the makeup and supposedly temporary hair dye after they got back from London Pride a couple hours ago.
“I keep washing but it’s definitely not coming out like it’s supposed to” Danny’s voice was increasingly panicked and James decided to step in.
“Don’t worry, darling!” he called, amused as he made his way to the bathroom. “I’ll help you wash it all out.” He grinned salaciously as he looked at Danny in the shower, frantically scrubbing his scalp.
“Move, move, move, move, move!” Cried Q, pushing his way past a surprised Bond and hopping, fully clothed, into the shower next to Danny, grabbing the shampoo and immediately pouring a generous glob onto his hair. “If you can’t get this out, I won’t be able to either. I can’t go into Q Branch tomorrow with multi-colored hair! I have a meeting with M in the morning.”
Both James and a curious Alex watched as Danny and Q washed their hair over and over, with no discernable difference in their hair color, even as the boys ran out of shampoo.
“It’ll be okay Q,” Alex tried to console, but he couldn’t help the laugh that burbled up from him as Q turned to face him, looking a bit like a multi-colored drowned cat, wet clothes and all.
“I don’t know why you’re laughing Alex.” Danny snarled as he also turned towards the two agents, “You both have to wash out Pam’s fur too. We used the same stuff for her since they said it was pet safe”.
Both James and Alex went pale and immediately backed away, knowing at this point it was best to retreat and plan before Pam murdered them all and their partners hid the bodies. They left to the sound of Q and Danny still frantically attempting to get the dye out of their hair and headed to the closest bar. If they were going to have to wash Pam, they didn’t want to be sober for that particular adventure.
